Guest Reviews
- Ryne (7/5): -
- Tracy (9/5): - Location, cleanliness
- Karen (8/5): Quirky unit with personality - The location is really handy and the unit is very comfy. It was in an unusual spot beneath and behind a house used as an office, but it worked really well. Nothing.
- Maretta (7/5): - Didn’t like the process of applying to stay and $500 holding felt like a scam. Then we were worried about being scammed while staying. 3 x decaf coffee sachets 1x normal coffee 🤦♀️
- Dale (8/5): Very good -
- Kocsis (9/5): Superb - Great location, within walking distance to center of Daylesford.
The studio is clean, and there is plenty of heating for cold nights. The bed wasn't comfortable until the second night when we fixed the slats underneath the mattress.
- Nikki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (8/5): I believe the pending added cost of accomodation for three business days is very unfair considering the property had pro - Great art and location Leaking shower into the hallway. Extra towels would be a kind guesture to compensate for this.
- Samantha (9/5): Funky accommodation - The art Toilet seat was broken, but we made do
- Mark (4/5): Over-priced and under appointed. But over-priced is most places in Daylesford - This site was upsold as an art 'studio' but in reality it was just a commercial space revamped to get a better earn. The Bromley mural was nice (because I like Bromley) but not much else floated our boat given the quite expensive price. I guess parking was free and right outside the door which was good. Location was good, a short walk to a couple of pubs, the main drag and Winespeake. That was about it. Entry through a poorly surfaced driveway and parking area into a commercial carport arrangement. Felt like we were probably parked with the pub cleaners. Got an apartment for a little additional comfort but this wasn't it. No aircon. TV didn't have an aerial connection so couldn't watch free to air, kitchenette wasn't very well appointed, furniture was rudimentary. Mr is a fair sized unit and could barely close the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet. A portable clothes horse had been provided (we guess to hang towels because there were no towel racks) but it was broken and next to useless.
- Marie-lise (8/5): Clean and tidy, close to shops and undercover parking. - great location, walking distance to Daylesford shops. The studio was tidy and clean and the bed was comfortable. I also liked that my car was undercover. The bathroom sink was very small.
- Anonymous (10/5): Beautiful place to stay brilliant location - Location and layout .. the internet features were excellent as I ended up staying on my own Perhaps the heating .. I’m from the NT and I found it a bit cold
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location and the vibe with all that great artwork on the walls. The lounge/living area was spacious and comfortable. It had everything I needed for a two night getaway and would highly recommend for other solo travellers like myself.
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (7/5): Overall the unit was lovely; some attention to the listed details would make it much better - loved the artwork & location
was great having a separate living & sleeping area & room to move
handy for walking distance to shops/restaurants the heating is insufficient for the space; the unit was cold as it doesn't get any direct sunlight
bathroom was very small
noisy upstairs neighbours
no access to live TV available if you don't have internet streaming (not everyone has access to this); streaming constantly dropped out due to poor reception for internet; basic TV channels are a given when travelling
we were woken both nights by scratching noises in the bedroom ceiling/walls most likely from mice; it definitely wasn't water in pipes
- Christine (7/5): A perfect location for a weekend getaway - Great location- walking distance to Main Street
Art work made it very unique In a “car park” - not good if you wanted a sleep in. 4am on Sunday morning, otherwise 7.30 ish during the week
- Kerryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (4/5): Disappointing -
- Natasha (10/5): Great hosts and a walk away from the main street! -
