Guest Reviews
- Mohamed (1/5): Bad -
- Guest (1/5): Not pleasant and if you have small children avoid. - The location was good. Not a great experience and due to limitations on how much I can place in this review the below is an abbreviation of which I would be happy to provide clarification if required.
Some of the issues encountered include
- The ID verification check with Superhog, whilst mentioned in the listing does not provide all information of the process.
- Cancellation fee is 89.5% of booking fee.
- Bird droppings encrusted at the front door entry. (mentioned in another review 12 June 2024)
- Foyer/common areas had severe staining on the carpets and walls, including a hideous smell.
- A large stain on the bedroom carpet of which we could not ascertain what it was and due to the colouring, could not rule out the stain containing blood. (The poor state of the carpets was also mentioned in reviews on 12 June 2024 & 14 May 2024.)
- Many stains on walls and marks on the ceiling that looked suspiciously like nasal mucus. (Stains on walls mentioned in another review on 14 May 2024)
- The shower taps were not secure and came off in your hand. (Shower knobs mentioned in another review on 3 April 2024)
- Main shower was not working. (issues with shower and bath mentioned in another review 12 June 2024)
- Bath chipped and not working.
- Crack on the toilet bowl.
- No TV channels. (TV issues mentioned in another review on 12 June 2024)
- Loose tile near settee. (mentioned in another review 12 June 2024)
- Lock on bathroom door not secure and came completely off. (Mentioned in another review on 3 April 2024)
- A smell that seemed to be coming from pipes in the bathroom making it necessary to keep the bathroom door constantly closed.
Whilst aesthetically both the bathroom and kitchen were acceptable, given what I have outlined above and that we were unable to run a bath or shower without having to use a handheld shower head, nor could we allow our child to walk around the bedroom without shoes as we could not determine what he was having to walk on, then we do not recommend.
- William (3/5): I looked up how to get the boiler working. I would not stay there again. - The location was absolutely fantastic for Wembley Stadium, and for the shops. It was close to the train station and the underground. You didn’t need a car to get to places. Aesthetically the kitchen/diner was lovely. There was no hot water on arrival. The cold tap on the bath didn’t work, so that the shower was only hot water, so showers were difficult.
A floor tile near the settee was loose.
The were ants both sides of the bed and in the kitchen.
The carpets were filthy .
We could not get the 2 tv’s to work.
When you were entering the apartment from outside, there was pigeon poo all over.
Although we rang the the number given to sort the water out, the person said d”does the boiler need turning on”. That was the response and the tv you need to connect to the internet.
- Suveer (1/5): Avoid at All Costs: A Nightmare Experience - If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Our stay at this apartment was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we stepped foot inside, it was abundantly clear that the pictures and descriptions provided were nothing but false advertising.
The first thing that hit us was the overpowering stench of cigarette smoke. It was as if the previous tenants had turned it into their personal smoking den and nobody bothered to air it out or clean it properly. The walls were stained with god-knows-what, and the carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the turn of the century.
But the horror didn't end there. The entire place was disgustingly unclean, with grime and dirt in every nook and cranny. It was evident that the so-called "cleaning crew" hadn't set foot in here in ages. To make matters worse, the management turned out to be nothing but a bunch of scammers. They happily took our money and then conveniently disappeared and did not answer our calls. After continuously following up with Booking.com, they contacted us to tell us that due to the cancellation policy, there was nothing they could do.
We didn't even bother staying a minute longer than necessary. Stepping foot in that apartment was enough to send us running for the hills. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to keep all of our money, despite the fact that we immediately vacated the premises.
Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this place. It's a prime example of everything that can go wrong when booking accommodations online. Don't make the same mistake we did. Avoid this apartment at all costs.
