• Lisa (8/5): Fab location, comfy, clean & quiet in a busy city. - Fabulous location, easy walking distance to the old quarter and far away enough to be super quiet. Also very close to the lake for lovely walks. Super lovely owner / host, comfy beds, clean and quiet. A kitchen to make food, a coffee shop at the end of the alley. The only thing that wasn't so great was the wifi - I didn't need it much as I was out and about and then just used my phone. But if you rely on it you will struggle.

• larisa (10/5): Рекомендую всем,соотношение цена/качество отличное - Благодаря очень приветливому и готовому помочь в любой ситуации хозяину гестхауса Лонгу забываешь обо всех проблемах, которые могут возникнуть. Лонг ,действительно, очень старается и его усилия нельзя не оценить. В плане местоположения- это идеальное место,если вы собираетесь отправиться на экскурсию( место сбора- Опера- буквально в 5 мин.ходьбы.) До кварталов старого Ханоя ,озера Хоанкьем прогулочным шагом минут 15. Недалеко множество кофеен, ресторанов и уличной еды. Сам французский квартал,где находится отель,очень атмосферный. На все просьбы и вопросы Лонг отвечает и решает оперативно,пожалуйста, прежде чем составить какое-то мнение, обратитесь к нему.
• Mark (9/5): Good affordable accomodation in Hanoi - Great quiet location not far from the opera house. Host was friendly and helpful, made a real change from the grotty accommodation I had last time in Hanoi last year 54 steps up to the room, reception had a strong smell of petrol from the small motor bikes parked inside. Towels didn't dry the body, man made fabric totally unsuitable as a towel, so ended up using mine that I brought with me and hadn't been needed for 3 months. The plusses far outweighed the minuses, would go back again ;-)

• Annand (8/5): Restful stay down cute alley. - The room was quiet and had a nice outlook. The location seemed really safe. The manager was friendly and helpful. He had a cute little cat. My room was definitely a good place to relax. I didn't like the smell of petrol in the entrance room, but that's where the motorbikes were kept. It seemed like if one lit a match, it might ignite. Someone else must have complained, so a fan was put in there. If there had been an electrical fault in that fan... Anyway, I think this matter needs to be sorted out a bit.
• Alexandra (9/5): - Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos über whatts app. Es war ein schöner , großer Raum mt genügend Ablageflächen und Schränken. Das Bad war auch sehr groß ,mit einer getrennten Dusche. Mir wurde mein Gepäck hoch getragen. Mein Zimmer war in der 3. Etage. In der 1. Etage befindet sich eine Küche, die man mit nutzen kann. Der Eigentümer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitengasse. In 5 Minuten ist man bei der Oper und in ca. 20 Minuten in der Altstadt . Es gibt genug Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Es war etwas schwierig mein Gepäck wieder runter zu tragen. Das Bett war ,für mein Empfinden, etwas zu hart. Das waren aber auch die einzigsten Punkte.

• Gaochao (9/5): 性价比好 - 民宿离还剑湖不远，在越南美国大使馆隔壁的小巷里。小巷口头就有一家不错的咖啡店，我们住在四楼，没有电梯，因飞机延误到达那夜比较晚，有些疲倦，好在房东帮我们行李搬到楼上。房间蛮大，床还舒服，睡觉很安静。 洗澡水很好。但笼头朝外向，会溢水到卫生间，比较麻烦。
• Bulat (10/5): - Это не гостиница, а частный дом. Хозяин прислал инструкции, как найти - без них это было бы нереально. Жил я в нем, кажется, один. Было тихо, никто не беспокоил, шума с улицы тоже не было. Все чисто, удобства в норме. Есть небольшой балкон с видом на двор. Расположение удобное - недалеко от озера Хоанкием, но не в старом квартале. Автобус до аэропорта останавливается в 10 мин пешком. Я не справился с телевизором - там меню только на вьетнамском, обычного ТВ нет, только стриминговые сервисы. Есть микроскопические муравьи, поэтому не оставляйте открытой еду и пищевые отходы. Комнаата на высоком этаже- возможно, для кого то критично.

• Michael2006 (9/5): - Great location in French Quarter. Big room with big bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Next to the American Embassy. Close to the Opera House, Main pick-up point for Tours.
• Soh-Siang (6/5): Average - Location able to pick up to ha long Bay. Bathroom requires some repair. Shower screen requires repair as water leaks into dry area. Tower needs more drying as has the moisture smell.

• Matilda (9/5): Convenient to get to our bus to Hoi An. - The owner was really helpful and allowed us a late checkout and to leave our bags there for the day. He made us feel very welcome. Really quiet location away from the chaos of the Old Town, but still an easy walk to get there. Nothing.

• Anastasiia (10/5): Can recommend - The home stay is great! Location is quite central, but calm. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You can find whatever you need there. It’s made with a big sense of comfort and convenience for people who are going to live there. It was not a problem for us, but you have to keep in mind that the stairs are quite steep and high.

Great value - Good location— next door to the American ambassador’s residence— area is lined with embassies, so very safe. 2 block walk to park is great, especially early in morning. My room was up up up some steep stairs! But fine for me. Room was nice. Host is very accommodating. Lots of stairs, but so what! Warning label on water, it gets scalding hot!!! I almost burned myself! But once I knew well it was great! Best hot shower I’d had in awhile!
• Domantė (9/5): Good location, good price, wonderful owner! - Everything was amazing, and the bed was just too good (that is always the most important thing when travelling for us), and the owner… I can’t say how humble and wonderful he was! All of the best for the owner! He was just too nice! No lift, but we didn’t have luggage, so it was ok for us, might be not so convenient for those who have big luggages.
• Fumio (9/5): Enjoyed quiet and convenient stay in value for money place in Hanoi. - Spacious room, bright illumination, big table, couple of cupboards, good amenities even bandages are provided. Quiet ambient, because of the end of an alley. Many small eating places are near by. Convenient shops are located within 5 minutes on foot. Helpful staff. Bank for money exchange is near by. One of the best secured places of the town. Because, US ambassador’s residence is on other side of the alley. And, embassy of Palestine is located just around the corner. Consequently, they provide the quiet and security to the area. The building is just private, so there are neither reception nor elevator. They are not fluent in English. This place is recommendable for the traveller who is eager to communicate with local people other than in English and enough healthy for capable to bring your luggages up to your room.

• Florian (7/5): Didn't really get much sleep for various reasons - + Friendly and communicative host, spacious room with good equipment, very affordable, cafés and street food just around the corner. All in all clean. There's a common room with a kitchen you can use. - Sorry to say but the mattress was rock hard. :( Still dealing with the back ache. The room can not be properly darkened. The bathroom is divided from the bedroom by a very thin door. When we were here ridiculously loud construction work on the house behind this one started 7:30am so we didn't get much sleep, but that's not the owner's fault. See above

• Sibylle (8/5): Amazing value for money, convenient location - Conveniently located in a quiet alleyway in the French quarter but still only 10-15 minutes walk away from the hectic old quarter. Facilities were great, a bit of a steep staircase to our room but that wasn’t an issue for us. Great AC, smart TV, little balcony, good shower pressure. The bed was a bit too hard for our liking but it seems to be the way everywhere in Vietnam.
• Amanda (10/5): Wonderful stay - Everything. The location, the room, the host, the facilities. It’s the little things that make this place a 10, like having extra towels, and even hand towels. The drain gets clogged and floods the bathroom if two people take a shower at once, but not too bad.
• Ernest (10/5): A very practical stay to spend a few days passing through Hanoi - The hospitality of the staff, the facilities, and the room. It’s a good place to stay close to oldtown and the bus station. We arrived from Sapa, the in 5min walking we were in the guest house. The steps if you arrive with a heavy laugge, cause each room is one floor.
• Katherine (7/5): Good value for money and perfect for a few nights - The bedroom and bathroom were very nice and spacious, I liked that there was a kitchen to use if needed, the host was very friendly and happy to help and checked us in early. Location is great and easy to get around The room could have been cleaner as it was a little dirty when we arrived, the bathroom flooded when you take a shower and didn’t drain so the whole floor was soaking all day. The living room when you enter has a very unpleasant smell as it is used as a smoking room
• Amelie (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious room and super equipped with private bathroom. The host's kitchen and living area can also be used. The host was super friendly and helpful. There are several supermarkets, ATMs and cute cafés nearby. You can be in the Old Quater in 15 minutes. Would come back anytime. Great value for money.
