Guest Reviews
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (3/5): I would not recommend staying here. - Downtown location. Comfortable bed. Good view. Poorly working toilet, long time to fill. Silverfish in carpet. No doors to cupboards or wardrobe closed properly. Very basic kitchen facilities. No dining table. Fourth floor apartment in smelly building.
Email about collection of keys sent too late - had left previous accommodation from different country to fly to Dublin, so no wifi to find out how to collect keys.
- René (3/5): This apartment shouldn't be on booking.com - Friendly hosts This was a bad experience for us. Plan was to have an apartment instead of two hotel rooms, so my colleague and me could work a few days from here and visit our clients in Dublin. But this was definitively not what we expected, after seeing the photos on the website.
And why, because the location is nice, the apartment is spacious enough for 2 to 4 people, the hosts are very friendly, but it's just and old and not maintained place. My advice is the owner should stay here a week for herself to see what can be improved to make it a nicer place to stay. Just fix broken things, make some hooks and towel racks in the bathrooms, a little shelve there to put your things on in the bathroom. A shower curtain maybe to prevent the whole floor to be wet? (and you don't need to switch socks all the time) A sink stopper that fits?
A new remote for the tv (the ok button is gone) so a guest could stream some of their own music on it. A few chairs, instead of one? A dining table perhaps, just to eat with a few people. Is that too much to ask? Minor things as well, like a few paintings on the walls would be nice, batteries in the fake candles. And make the water heater in the hall more silent, because now it gives a loud sound every 5 minutes, so you need ear plugs at night. Why? It seems like they just don't care. Or it's just forgotten, and the money is coming in anyway.
This apartment is not recommended if you like a comfortable place.
- Chloe (8/5): Very good - Great location and super spacious. Hosts were very lovely and on hand for any problems. No shower curtain on one of the showers
- Danielle (10/5): Wonderful apartment and location - The apartment is very well located.
The view of the Cathedral is splendid. Shops and transportation nearby. All visits can be done on foot. Very friendly host. We'll definitely be back . Everything was perfect
- Nora (10/5): True home away from home - We had an incredible stay at this cosy apartment in the heart of Dublin! The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from all the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being in the center, the apartment was wonderfully quiet and provided a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. The view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral from the window was simply breathtaking and added a magical touch to my mornings. The apartment itself was comfortable and felt like a true home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Dublin’s charm right from their doorstep!
