Guest Reviews

- Rena (10/5): Put your walking shoes on and enjoy all that NYC has to offer from this well located apartment. - Fantastic location! Walk to metro. Close to everything. We easily explored much of the city by using the subway. Purchased food at Trader Jo’s for some home cooking.
- NICOLA (8/5): - Struttura molto centrale allo stesso livello della strada.
- Geumjoo (10/5): Will definitely stay here again. - The staff members were very accommodating. Prompt reply to any small questions. Great location out of touristy spots in NYC, yet central to both south and north direction.
The rental had everything I needed for a little more than a week stay. Although it was on the street level, I never felt unsafe. Nothing.
Water leak from shower to the floor- minor issue.
- Sarah (9/5): Excellent. Would use again. Excellent communication from host, who very quickly dealt with asmall issue we had with the - Location is fantastic. Comfortable beds. Strong shower. Fast WiFi. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. Nothing

- Rajat (4/5): - Reasonable location Little natural light in the apartment. Windows are frosted to feels very closed as you can’t even look outside. Gound floor apartment opens directly onto the street. Feels stuffy.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Ideal accommodation for a weeks NYC experience - Really nice location, full of friends and families using the park facilities. Felt very safe, which was quiet at night but also close to the sights in the city. Comfortable beds, great shower and ideal.for the week. Great communication with hosts and available for any issues or recommendations. Would recommend and book again when back in NY. Slight blip with the A/C but the hosts resolved ultra quick and it was of no bother at all.
- Camilla (8/5): Very good -
- Dianne (4/5): Disappointing - Location was ok Several PowerPoints were not working. Cockroaches in shower. Door very hard to get into property. Ventilation inside poor.
- Thora (9/5): Superb - I felt little unsafe having the entrance straight to the street. Would have liked an extra lock on the door. That being said we didn´t have any trouble with it so it felt safer by every night we stayed.
- 旭 (9/5): Pleasant stay. - Staying here was a comfortable and straightforward experience. Communication with the host was smooth, and finding the place was easy. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, which set a good tone right from the start.
The room was impressively clean, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking, which made it feel like home. Though the subway wasn’t right around the corner, the nearby bus stop made getting around convenient. Surprisingly, despite being close to a main road, the area was quiet, offering a peaceful night's sleep.
For groceries, there were a few large supermarkets nearby, so buying food was easy and convenient. All in all, it was a practical and pleasant stay, especially for anyone who enjoys a quiet neighborhood with easy access to essentials. The shower door didn’t seal well, so water would often spill out, leaving the bath mat soaked. I found myself constantly having to wring it out and dry it, which became a bit of a hassle.
- Rowenst (9/5): Superb - We stayed in the first week in April with 2 adults and a 7 year old and loved our accommodation. It was big enough for 3 people. After an 18 hour flight from New Zealand, we were stoked with our choice.
The washing machine was a great utility to have for a week stay. There is a kettle, oven and hair dryer too. It seems the host has taken on feedback from previous comments and made an effort to improve the experience.
The apartment was dry and warm. We never had any issues with hot water.
It is a quiet neighborhood with a park across the road. It can be a little noisy at night, but hey, it's New York, and you can't help the odd siren or loud conversation going past.
The host replied instantly via text when I asked about the wifi not working(the modem plug was loose). There were no issues with communication or answering any questions we had.
It was about a 15-minute walk from Grand Central Terminal and some supermarkets and pizza shops nearby.
All in all, I don't think you can get better accommodation for the price you pay compared to a hotel. We loved our stay, and if we came to New York again, we would look at staying here. We raised this with the host, but I could not find a plug for the kitchen sink to wash dishes. There is a dishwasher, but we never had enough dishes to fill it.
The privacy screen on the shower window is starting to peel off due to wear and tear, it is possible people could see you showering from outside. That might be your kind of thing, so please consider this a positive if it is. We put a towel up, and it was no longer a problem.
These are not major issues at all, but nice to know.
- Graham (10/5): Amazing stay would definitely recommend. - Great apartment, excellent location, very clean and has everything you need for your stay. Host very quick at responding. Nothing!
- Melanie (7/5): Decent location and small but clean and tidy studio apartment. - Great location and clean, decent bathroom and kitchen area. Pull out couch is fine but makes using the kitchen impossible so only useful if you are using the place only for sleeping. If only using the bedroom then this wouldn't apply and the studio apartment would be great for a couple. Unfortunately there was no hot water and inadequate linens for the pull out sofa bed (no pillowcases). The hosts contacted the building manager and the hot water was fixed by the end of the second day, and their cleaner dropped off more linens for the bed that day so they did rectify the issue fairly promptly. I think it might have been nice to offer a discount of some sort for the two ice cold showers and sleeping on pillows with no covers though!
- Joel (3/5): Definitely not worth the money, I would look to book alternative accommodation next time. The apartment was simply okay. - Good Location. Lacked basic facilities such as a kettle, hairdryer etc. The property is no where near as well lit as pictured. The host is very unresponsive and unreliable.
- Samir (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, very central in manhattan, in a quiet street.
