  The room is small, but very central. The bed is French (57 in wide). The apartment has in all 2 rooms, with large living room, kitchen and shared bathroom. No Air Conditioning. It is located in the heart of Florence in the ancient Palazzo del Proconsolo, seat since the fourteenth century of the Art of Judges and Notaries, is located in one of the most beautiful streets in the center of Florence: via del Proconsolo. We are 328 feet from the Duomo 164 feet from the House of Dante and 328 feet from Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi). The tourist tax is to be paid in cash on arrival (euro 5,50 per person per day - for 7 days maximum)

Molto vicino al Duomo – per noi perfetto. Il proprietario è stato gentile, disponibile, colto e molto simpatico. Consigliamo questo alloggio al 100% e torneremo volentieri! 🙂 Niente😊

• Ondřej (9/5): - Pan majitel byl velice příjemný a dal nám jak velké množství tipů, tak zajímavých historických faktů o Florencii a budově samotné. Ubytování je situováno naprosto perfektně a všude je to kousek. Vzhledem k tomu, že je ubytování v centru Florencie, je potřeba počítat s hlukem v nočních hodinách.
• YUFAN (10/5): good - The landlord Lorenzo is extremely nice, and the apartment is equipped with a dining table and a small kitchen. The view outside the window is beautiful, and most importantly, the location is incredibly convenient. I will definitely choose this place again if I come back next time.

• Zambrano (6/5): Necesita reforma el baño - La ubicación nos gustó mucho y el propietario estuvo pendiente y cordial. El ventilador necesita limpieza y la ducha necesita ser reformada,no corre el desagüe y la ducha no tiene suficiente presión.
• Selchenko (10/5): Next door to Torre del Proconsolo - Absolutely fantastic apartment with medieval style. Lorenzo & Marco are great landlords, very friendly, always keeping in touch, sharing insights and answering questions. The apartment itself is spacy, with decent size bathroom and kitchen area, clean, well maintained, very bright (especially the triple room), and has all necessary stuff in a room (e.g. towels and bed linen). Location is off question, this is as cental as it can get. If you're in favour of historical settings you would admire this apartment, and even if you're not, this is still top notch in terms of value for money. Just a reminder for those having troubles sleeping. Don't forget that noise is a trade off for central location and street view, and for fresh air. It might be noisy with an open window. I had a pair of ear plugs but it wasn't needed with the window closed.

• Vitória Bernardi (7/5): - Very well located, you can reach all the interesting places by walking. I believe the key handover could be made more practical, maybe with a code for entry. We had to stay in touch with the owner to get the keys, and during a trip that can be a bit inconvenient (I don’t usually stay on my phone while traveling). In other places we stayed, using a code made the process much smoother.

The building itself has a lot of history and it was pretty cool to be sleeping in an old converted tower. We were also grateful for the window AC unit in summer. Lorenzo was incredible kind and helpful. The shower didn't function well and the kitchen wasn't super usable. The bed downstairs wasn't very comfortable and I questioned the cleanliness of things.

• Karl (9/5): Extrem zentrale Lage mit historischem Flair und zuvorkommenden Besitzer - Obwohl regulärer Check In erst am Nachmittag wäre, kam der Besitzer für uns schon um 8 Uhr am Vormittag damit wir nicht nur unser Gepäck schon ablegen können, sonder auch schon einchecken konnten. Die Lage ist extrem zentral und alles war per Fuß erreichbar. Während des Aufenthaltes war der Besitzer jederzeit erreichbar und stand mit Tipps und Informationen zur Geschichte der Stadt zur Verfügung. Eine kleine Küche und das Bad sind zwar mit einem anderen Zimmer zu teilen, aber sehr sauber. Da es sich bei der Unterkunft um einen historischen Turm handelt ist auch die Einrichtung/Dekoration in einem ähnlichen/passenden Stil gehalten. Eine Klimaanlage stand in unserem Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung, allerding wurde uns angeboten auf das andere Zimmer zu wechseln, da dieses zufällig frei wäre. Trotz Hitze war die Nacht bei offenen Fenster und mit Ventilator, der zur Verfügung steht alleding trotzdem sehr angenehm.
• Canela (3/5): Poor - Location and staff were nice. They allowed us to do early check in, which was very good. The integrated tiny kitchen was handy. The room needs a lot of work on (we tried to open the curtains and the holder came off the wall). It was 37 degrees in Florence and the old, tiny dirty desk fan was definitely not enough. They need to add little details to make the room better: side lights/ hangers/ a proper fan at least for the heat! The shower would always flood when you use it. This is central but it may not be worth it if you really want to sleep at night.

• Zeng (2/5): I wouldn’t recommend staying here. - Location We had a really disappointing experience at this place. On our second day, all of our food in the fridge just disappeared — the fridge was completely empty. That same day, another guest checked out and a new girl moved in, so the cleaning crew must have come in. We asked the host about it, and he immediately blamed the new guest without even checking. We also asked if he had talked to the cleaning crew, but he completely ignored my message after that. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Honestly, the attitude was terrible and very unprofessional. On top of that, there’s no air conditioner, the tiles on the floor were loose and shifting. The shower water pressure was extremely low — it felt like water was just dripping down. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The host was extremely helpful, providing many tips for sightseeing. No comments

Lorenzo was upfront and honest about mistaking the room he was supposed to give my partner and I but sadly the mistake wasn't fixed and was acknowledge too late. From the beginning we had a different room from what we asked for, Lorenzo gave us a single room for a couple, which wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either, it was uncomfortable.

Because of its location, the street can be noisy at night. This has nothing to do with the owner; it's just something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.

Great apartment in the middle of old Florence. I highly recommend this place to stay and if I ever get back to Florence I will stay here again. I was prepared for hot and cold shower but the temperature difference was not significant and not problem.

• Amy (10/5): Beautiful room - Brilliant location. Short walk to many sights. We had access to the whole apartment, which had cooking facilities. Lovely room and history to the building. Lorenzo gave lots of tips and suggestions for places to visit, as well as some history about the building. Bed and room was a bit smaller than I realised, so was a bit snug. But didn't detract from the comfort and loveliness of the place.

• Anano (8/5): Beautiful authentic and comfortable - Design of the whole house was very artsy, medieval and beautiful. The house itself was comfortable and even though we had a shared bathroom it felt like private. Space in the bathroom was good (girls will like it to put make up products on the surfaces), there is a washing machine and an iron in the house so it’s a big plus. We were able to have breakfast in the kitchen, they had all the utensils and cups. I also liked the view and the location is great. The thing i didn’t like was that our room was extremely small. Bed was small too and there was minimal surface area in the room.

Would definitely recommend if you want to stay around the centre and save time going to tall the tourist places.
