• Dianne (10/5): My husband and I look forward to our return to Adelaide and our next stay here. - Loved everything, including the fact it felt like we were staying at a friend's house. Loved sitting out on the patio overlooking the water of West Lakes. The house was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable and located in a very quiet area. I don't want or like to complain about anything here but my daughter was sensitive to the strong fragrance of the hand wash.

• Giles (7/5): Expensive if its not going to be cleaned or stocked - Fantastic location, and new building (amongst plenty of 1980s builds). The property wasn’t very well cleaned nor well stocked. Half rolls of toilet paper left us quickly hunting for more and also had to go hunting for towels. Hair from the previous guests was all over the shower walls (like it hadn’t been cleaned). No wine glasses. Disappointing standard of living given the price (>$1500/night).

• Kerry (10/5): A lovely stay, just with one little disappointment. - The accommodation, location and views are exceptional. Also, it was very good that there is a kayak and SUP board that can be used on the lake behind the house, which is very clean to swim in etc. We didn't like that the accommodation picture shows a gas BBQ which is not automatically included in the price - you have to pay for a gas bottle and go and get it yourself - we thought it would be included in the stay. When we arrived, the BBQ was all dirty and rusty inside on the grill and someone had tried to use charcoal on it which had not been cleaned. When I contacted the owner she tried to get me to sort this with a caretaker instead of taking this on herself. Although the following day, after telling us we would have to purchase a gas bottle to use the BBQ and us asking for her to contact the caretaker, he came round to clean the BBQ - although it was not tested with any gas to see if it actually worked. We ended up using a different BBQ that our son brought round so I still don't know whether it works or not.

• Karen (10/5): Amazing apartment in a beautiful, peaceful location! - This is a picturesque apartment overlooking the lake. It was close to the CBD and other amenities but far away from all the hustle and bustle. The host was very communicative and provided all information in a clear and timely manner.
