• Chau Shen (8/5): - strategic location, surrounded by eateries. Though the location of the washing facility is convenient, but the system (function) for drying is of hot air, much difference from the "spin dry" system I have back home.

• James (9/5): Great choice - The staff were friendly. The room was clean and quiet with room under the bed for a medium sized bag and carry on. The location is good with an excellent izakaya directly across the road although in Japanese only and bars, restaurants and stores close by. Kanda station is a nearby walk and is a good suburb that’s central but not in the middle of the chaos. The free Takoyaki is great. I’d be happy to stay here again. The washing machines are often busy and take a long time to dry so it’s easier to go to a nearby laundry if you’re looking for a quicker result. The breakfast did not suit my taste.

L’accueil a été vraiment super, avec une équipe attentionnée et toujours prête à rendre service. Leur aide a été précieuse tout au long de notre séjour. L’hôtel est top, avec une mention spéciale pour la chambre qui est nettement plus spacieuse que la moyenne des hôtels à Tokyo : un vrai plus très appréciable ! Seul petit bémol : le petit déjeuner manque un peu de variété, mais reste tout de même de bonne qualité et vaut son prix.

• Kar Yee (7/5): Everything but the bed - Nice drinks and takoyaki if you were in. The price and location were excellent and the staff were sweet. Bed is a three inch thick mattress on a wooden box. Deeply uncomfortable. I slept on a japanese futon which was probably just as thin, but a lot more comfortable at my next hotel.

• chantelle (6/5): Dirty room. - 24yo female solo traveller here. The staff were very friendly. As I left every day they would walk me outside to say bye to me and to have a great day! Also a 6 minute walk from Kanda Starion and 15 minute walk from Tokyo Station. The cleanliness was not great. Before coming here I had stayed at an APA hotel and a Hokke Club hotel that were half the price and much cleaner. For $150 CAD a night having stained walls, stained bedding, stained towels, dirty carpets, a thin mattress, and odour coming from the bathroom that was not from me, I was unhappy. I stayed 8 nights, and for half the price you could find a hotel that is significantly cleaner. I booked this hotel because the pictures made it look more luxurious than it was. You are better off going with a bigger chain tbh.

• sara (9/5): Super!!! - Chambres petites, mais très bien équipées et propres. Lits confortables. Personnel très gentil et souriant. Petit déjeuner japonais et occidental. Emplacement centrale, à une station de train de Central Station et très proche de Ueno. Si on veut trouver un défaut, il faudrait ajouter couteaux et cuillères pour le petit déjeuner occidental, pour pouvoir se servir; on a dû demander.

• たんたん電 (4/5): - 部屋は綺麗に見える。 お風呂のシャンプー等がブランド物で髪の毛がしっとりつやつやになる。 照明が細やかに調節できて良い。 エアコンが好きに設定できる。 空気清浄機がある。 ベッドが堅い。 工夫された一人暮らしの部屋みたいな感じなので、折り畳み式のテーブルに椅子等の良く言えば考えられた収納、悪く言えば狭い。 テレビもベッドからだと見にくい位置。外で買ってきた物を食べるような位置にテーブルもテレビも無い。 一階にテーブルがあり、食事をとれるようにしているせいか逆に部屋の居心地は悪い。 水やコーヒーも一階にあるが、小さな紙コップで部屋に持って行くしかない。蓋も無いのでとても面倒に感じる。 以前よりアメニティが明らかに減った。 トイレの水圧が弱い。 手洗い場の水圧も弱い。 部屋の構造と、立地の問題か、騒がしい外の音がガンガン聞こえる。話し声は勿論、大きな音はかなり聞こえる。 ドアも薄いのか廊下の音もそれなりに聞こえる。気になって眠れない人はいると思う。 ドライヤー、ベッドサイドライトは埃が詰まっていて汚らしかった。

My washing in the laundry was taken out and left in a plastic bag because I was 10min late to picking it up. And also the mattress was maybe 3inches thick on a hard wooden board.

Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas terrible. Peu de choix et pas de produits frais.

Les clients anglais qui sont détestables et irrespectueux. Cette clientèle n’a aucune tenue et se croit tout permis. Personnellement le comportement des occupants anglais m’ont dérangé, aucune délicatesse. Violent contraste avec le staff japonais issu d’une culture délicate et très attentionnée. Hors mis les anglais, tout était parfait.

The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. There was no way to inform the staff wether or not you would like to have your room cleaned on any specific day. There was no "Do not disturb" sign, or "Please clean my room" sign that you could leave for the cleaning staff. After partying late in Shinjuku, this would have been nice to have.
