- Stuart (6/5): Booking will be contacting the host about the extra fees on order to refund - Good location Very well appointed space Prompt communications Strong hot shower Noise - there is a convenience store opposite with seating outside that sells alcohol and is open 24/7. This property needs sound insulation. Small space - bed blocks the wardrobe opening properly Customer service - extra fees added for cleaning and card payment that were not advertised when booking. I was told in no uncertain terms that if I didn’t pay the cleaning fee I would not be able to enter the property. They then tried to charge me sales tax and when I pointed it out they asked ME to contact booking about it! Then when I did pay there was an unadvertised 2% fee for paying by card. Not the right way to welcome your guests. Lessons needed in customer service. Cleaning fee - egregious at $24 for such a tiny space. This is like charging $70 for a tiny studio in the US or Europe.
