• Han (8/5): Great stay, good location, superb staff. - Staff are friendly, warm, and caring. Ms Wong in particular took care of my family generously. Requests were always obliged politely. The building is a little dated. Furnishings can be dusty in some places like the door to our room, kitchen cabinet doors, floor under the bed. When we checked in there were hardly any kitchen utensils until we requested for them. The bed on the elevated level feels unusually firm. On the other hand, facilities worked flawlessly. AC, washing machine, hot plate, fridge, ample hot water - all worked great. The toilet can get backed up, but staff were able to help us resolve that as well.

• Touru (7/5): Good - We liked the closeness to the station. The upper bed was very comfortable and the aircon was a welcoming relief. The staff were very helpful The place felt a bit tired and unclean
• Craig (9/5): Ideal venue for the self-motivated traveller. - The location (once you've found it) and convenience of 24 hr access. The close proximity to transport options especially Zhongshan Gongyuan subway station is great. The amount of local facilities nearby, basically all of them, is good too; plenty of shops, bars, a library and post office all within easy walking distance. Initially, it's hard to find and is not clearly marked as Abest Zhongshan Park No.1. The moniker Xinzhikong Apartments is not visible until seen on a pillar just outside the door, so some clear instructions via booking.com might be useful. Reception is divided into two entities, so if your chosen receptionist says he/she has no record of your booking, try asking the other one :-)
• Paulo (3/5): Poor - The location was very good, with a big shopping mall, restaurants and and supermarkets near by. All the rest is quite bad. The bed was unbelivably hard, like sleeping over a piece of wood, I couldnt get any proper sleep for two nigths. The apartment was not properly clean, the glasses and the the rest of the dishes were unacetlably dirty. The overall furniteru is old and wasted, there all holes on the walls . The shower is very small and dirty. We were there for two nights and we changed.
• Markus (8/5): Perfect for a small backpacking family of 3. - Everything works and is comfortable. Nice restaurants and the subway is near-by The train tracks in front of the building are noisy. Internationals need to bring some time for the visa check at the hotel lobby. Staff doesn't seem to have internatinal guests very often.

• Sharon (9/5): Good serivce and great staff. - Very responsive and nice staff. Excellent location for short term stay. I will consider opting for it next time when I return to Shanghai. Smoking smell from the room of the next door diffused into my suite. There should be some rungs or supply place inside the bathing area so that customers can put their bathing supplies.

We will definitely stay here again. The decorations and appliances in the room we stayed are a little old and needs to be updated. These are only small things. We still enjoyed our stay.

• Troy (10/5): Comfortable, practical and affordable. - It was near the Metro Station Line 2 Exit 10. There are nearby malls and restos. The guy who assisted us was so accommodating. It was difficult to find first as the building had a different name.

• Jia (9/5): My daughter and I would absolutely like to stay there again when we go back to Shanghai next time. - The location of the property is perfect for travellers since nearby there are accesses to three metro lines; The manager of the property and his colleagues in Room 521 are very friendly and helpful. I'm really touched with their kindness. And it's amazingly great that variety of services from this room are provided 24 hours a day; There is a washing machine on site that is also important to travellers and it's possible to cook a little bit in the flat; Someone comes to clean the flat every two days and the bed sheet is changed after a week. It would be better that the kitchen corner could be cleaner, before the next customer enters. According to the description of the accomdation, there should be a balcony in the flat. Nevertheless, I just found one flat area in front of the window. By the way, it might be safer to add a fixed linkage between the window and the framework.
• Cathy (9/5): Superb - A quiet apartment with comfortable beds. The people who work there are helpful. The location is excellent, right crossing the line 2 subway. There are also many shopping sites and eateries around. I would recommend it if you visit Shanghai.
