Guest Reviews
- Cristina (9/5): Superb - The location is one of the best features of this place.
The views are amazing.
The pool is nice, the gym is small but has the necessary equipment.
It's clean and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for the elevator.
The check-in and check-out went very smooth. It can be very noisy as the windows have basically no soundproofing.
The towels are a nightmare (this is not an exaggeration), PLEASE change them and provide basic cotton ones.
It would not hurt to provide sufficient toilet paper.
I had to ask the manager twice for the refunding of the security deposit. (300 MYR)
- Kailan (1/5): 🚨🚨🚨 AVOID AT ALL COSTS, NOT SAFE TO STAY HERE 🚨🚨🚨 - The facilities in Scarletz (independent from the host) are always great - minus the 30 minute waiting times for the lift. This was the WORST unit we stayed at in SC@KL. We stayed at about 8 units between Air BNB & Booking. The place was poorly equipped, there were SO many rules to follow that made it feel like a prison or school in the apartment, extortionate attempts at getting a security deposit then not enforcing it when we said we cannot transfer locally (seems scammy). The host was negligent and TRULY incompetent when it came to comms and solving issues. Viewing us as an issue rather than a valued client. The battery for the door ran out, we couldn't get in. There was very poor comms, and we were told to wait, and wait and wait, and lied to about when we would be able to receive help to get back in. My wife missed several hours of income, cancelling appointments and events in KL due to these guys not responding, and when they did respond, giving one word answers, treating us like simple idiots. They eventually sent someone after making us wait from 21:00 in the previous evening to 17:00 more or less the next day without an answer. from 09:00 until 17:00, we were in our PJs in the coworking, waiting for them. The host knew about this, ignored us for hours, and then sent a guy late in the afternoon, after lying about sending someone at 11:00. I told the host very clearly: do not enter our apartment without us being there, come to the coworking and I will then go down to the apartment with you. This is on PRINCIPLE. They acknowledged this, said yes, and entered anyway, a worker who brought his young toddler son to fix the door. The apartment had items of ours misplaced, and handprints of a young child for which we do not have any kids, on the surfaces. The manager reached out via Whatsapp and very professionally apologised for everything they did wrong, saying they'd do an investigation. The manager told me to leave the apartment before we got our refund, trying to take advantage of assuming we are idiots.
