- Georgia (10/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): Beautifully presented cottage with great views from the deck. - Very close to Lake Daylesford, an easy walk. A little further to the main shops.
- Hayley (9/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): - Super cute, good location, walk to everything.
- BeckyChu. (10/5): Lovely place suits the name of hidden gem - Perfect place. Clean. Cute and huge space. They also provide many facilities.
- Tanya (10/5): Fantastic place to stay. Close to everything and spotless. - Everything about this property was great. They have more plates and cups than most. It feels like a home. Also additional stuff like pantry essentials like salt and pepper etc. Only small suggestion is the shower head was very weak. Bit like that Seinfeld episode where getting the conditioner out your hair was an issue.
- Olivier (9/5): -
- Dave B (10/5): Ideal facilities and location - Family comforts.. Bush views
Was apprehensive based on Street view but pleasantly surprised once entered the unit. Probably one of the best accommodations we have ever used. Already thinking of a return to Daylesford and rebooking this place.
. Ruts in Right side parking area off tar sealed roadway.

- Katerina (10/5): - Great location and layout had a wonderful stay
- Kaye (10/5): -

- Lisa (9/5): - Cute little cottage. Great facilities and nice decor. Hot water in shower was temperamental .

- Iona (10/5): - Good facilities, great location close to the lake for walks, good heating, plenty of space for the three of us. Hosts very responsive. Dishwasher hadn't been put on by previous guests, and we couldn't get into the laundry downstairs with the keys provided.
- Harman (10/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): Beautiful surroundings with a homely feel to the place. Has everything you need. -
- Malcolm (10/5): we had a lovely experience top points for the accommodation - Location was excellent we were able to walk or drive everywhere no issues
- Pierre (9/5): A home away from home! Thankyou :) - Loved the cleanliness and lovely space. What you see on the photos is what you get and everything is good quality. Only thing was the shower pressure was very low, and the kettle was plastic. Other than that, everything was beautiful.
- D'Eliseo (9/5): We had a lovely stay, was exactly what we were looking for. - The location was fantastic! so peaceful and beautifully furnished. The power did turn off randomly at times which wasn’t ideal.
- Vinay (10/5): -
- Sarahkhan85 (10/5): - The cottage was lovely. Spacious and clean and great facilities for a family get away. Location was very convenient, only minutes away from the city center and two amazing lakes. NA
- Sarah (10/5): Conveniently located just a short walk from Daylesford. - Beautiful setting with views over a valley. Very clean with everything you need. Nothing.
- Riacrdo (10/5): -
- Jane (9/5): Loved it and want to stay here again. - Such a lovely cottage, with a beautiful view from the back deck and gorgeous gardens. The beds were comfortable and the everything felt clean and fresh. Quiet location but still very close to everything. I would happily stay here again - and hopefully for longer than two nights. There really wasn't much that we didn't like. Our only slightly-negative issue would be that while there was a Moka Pot (stovetop coffee percalator) provided, the only coffee in the kitchen was instant (no, just no), so we needed to go and buy coffee grounds before we could use it and there was no option to heat the milk other than the microwave (first world problems, I know).
We really would have appreciated a pod machine and a milk frother at the premises, so we could make a morning coffee (or two) to enjoy on the back deck while enjoying in the view and listening to the birdsong. It wasn't much fun having to get dressed and go to the supermarket first thing in the morning so we could enjoy a coffee. (Again, first world problems).
The kitchen is lovely and new and well set out, though I think it's time to replace the frypans. They are past their use-by dates.
So other than a slight criticism about the coffee options and frypans we really loved it.
- Elspeth (8/5): A wonderful retreat in a beautiful town - The view from the balcony was lovely the tap water tastes amazing, the space is very nice. As mentioned by others, the pillows are very flat and seem more the type you would use for your decorative pillow slip - suggest folding a towel for underneath them to provide any support.
- Jennifer (8/5): Lovely home with all the cupboards well stocked in a great location. - Great location. Very clean home. Lounge furniture not very comfortable. It rained the whole weekend so we spent a bit of time lazing around.
- Richard (8/5): Comfortable, stylish & spacious house super-close to the Lake House - This is a comfortable, stylish & spacious place super-close to the Lake House. The area is fairly quiet & the house is nice & warm, with effective heating. The photos are accurate & communication with the hosts was easy. Check-in & check-out were simple too. There's a bit of traffic noise, particularly on the deck. A bluetooth speaker would have been a nice addition (or else instructions on how to cast audio to the Chromecast, if that's even possible).

- Natasha (10/5): - The area was very quiet. The house was comfortable and had a nice balcony where when you sat out there it was peaceful to read and relax. The house was extremely clean and everything you would need.
- Brett (10/5): - Fabulous property with lovely view and great facilities.
- Robyn (8/5): House was very nice and location was really good.. - There wasn’t fly screens on all windows so couldn’t open to let in fresh air…
- Joanne (9/5): - Clean, comfortable, and well-located. Just across the road from the Lake House, and only a short walk to Lake Daylesford.
The cottage had everything you needed, including board games which kept us entertained.
- Annette (10/5): A lovely presented home. Well-equipped and comfortable. -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The ambience. It was home away from home.
- Janiece (10/5): - We will definitely be back. Sadly we had to cut our stay short but we won't hesitate to book Hidden Gem again. There were some funky smelling blossoms in the garden....not the owners fault, it just made the backyard smell funny...not enough to make us not return 🤣
- Thisandu (6/5): Great location, could have been better with some simple touches - Location was great. We could see the lake and the sunset from the balcony. Magnificent view! It’s a beautiful little cottage with a lot of potential. Despite number of previous reviews, shower water pressure is still very low! (It would have been great if the host was open for feedback and fixed it!). The main door didn’t have blinds, and we were worried about privacy specifically at night.
Kitchen sink didn’t have a handwash (instead it had a hand sanitizer for some reason!). Microwave wasn’t clean!

- Rob (9/5): Excellent accommodation, great hosts, views to die for, relaxing and luxurious - Location was beautiful, property was superbly clean, modern, all the basic kitchen essentials (no food), very good heating, excellent bedrooms for sleeping. Furniture in the lounge could have been a bit elder/disabled friendly; couch was a bit low and too soft, chairs were a bit hard to sit on.

- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional -

- Maria (9/5): a gret place to relax after a hiking holiday - Spacious, clean, homely, beautiful gardens, comfortable quirky stylish decor. very private. great outdoor areas to sit and read, eat, or zone-out! Air-con was welcome for a hot afternoon. Jen provided friendly and helpful information. couldn't find a washing line/rack to hang clothes that we washed at the house.
unable to access some apps on the TV, that were supposed to be pre-loaded, but we weren't bothered as TV was not important to us.

- Kellieann (9/5): Fantastic relaxing getaway - The cottage was very cosy and clean. Nothing
- Jennene (5/5): Warm Central and comfortable - Hi Jess
on arrival there was a blob of poo in the toilet this was alarming so it made us feel like the toilet had not been cleaned efficiently i know this is simple but it made us feel alarmed
Also the bed is broken in the first front room The leg on the outer right side was mobile and the bed was unstable to sit on
The middle leg on the near side was displaced as well
I was dissapointed there was no milk as a cup of tea on arrival is always a warm gesture
Thankyou hosts and yes i would stay with you again The position and view lovely
