The room didn't have a lot of natural light as the only window was out to a small courtyard. The breakfast options were very limited and I was a bit disappointed with what was on offer.

Everything was absolutely delightful! Breakfast was amazing, staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was adorable, spacious (for Paris!), and quiet. Small issue: fridge was not working, but we let them know upon checkout so hopefully it’s fixed if you end up booking the same room.

- Aaron (6/5): - I booked a superior room but was given a triple room. I questioned it and was told it was a superior room. I checked the website and there was a clear delineation between a superior room with a double bed and a sofa, and a triple room with a double bed plus single bed. I returned to reception and asked to be moved to the room I booked. Initially he said the two were interchangeable but I challenged this because would three guests booking a triple be given a superior? I didn’t understand how it was different because a sofa was useful for my stay and an additional bed superfluous. He said it was impossible to change because it was fully booked which I accepted, but said he would enquire and get back to us about the other nights as we were there for three. This never happened, it’s like they just wanted to brush it under the carpet. Suggestion in future - acknowledge a mistake made and offer some form of compensation however small instead of trying to gaslight guests. It spoiled the stay, which is a shame because the hotel is nice and the private spa was lovely. However the room was small I think if there were three guests using it they would struggle in the space especially with luggage too. The room would benefit from a little fridge to keep drinks cold.

- Robbi (10/5): - We loved our stay here. Fabulous location, great room with super comfortable bed. We had a yummy breakfast each morning and were able to book in for the spa and sauna which was lovely (45mins per booking). We didn’t get to enjoy it more than once though but that’s because we were out enjoying Paris! We walked everywhere from the hotel, but there was also the Metro right near us so it was super easy getting around. The staff were friendly and helpful, with great suggestions on local restaurants 😊 Only feedback would be for the cleaning crew - we had dirty glasses in our room on arrival and they made up our room but left us with no toilet paper at all. I had to go down to reception to request it. They also left a dirty plate in there as well as our spa robes and slippers. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Paris ♥️
- Stephen (10/5): - Arrived later than expected, had emailed ahead to let them know. Night Manager met us in the street and gave us a great welcome. Showed us to our room and invited us downstairs for a drink. Room was big enough with window that opened, overlooking a spiral staircase. Bathroom and bedroom were extremely clean. Tea/coffee facilities in room. Water replenished everyday. Bed very comfy. Hotel rooms and corridors very quiet. Breakfast room very quaint with a good selection of food and drink. Hotel reception was lovely. All staff from managers to housekeeping, even the handyman were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel in a brilliant location. Metro at end of street. Lots of great restaurants in the location. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay here again. A very relaxing stay.

We were greeted graciously and were able to check in early which was so nice after our morning arrival to the country. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our room, though very small was well appointed. The location was excellent allowing us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. There was a very nice breakfast buffet available for a charge. We absolutely loved the staff there.
- Dawn (10/5): Family of 3 in Paris - We stayed for 3 nights in a triple room (2 adults 1 child) and although the rooms are small (to be expected in Paris) we found the hotel to be stylish, very comfortable and very clean. The beds were spacious and comfortable, the pillows were soft without being too soft, the shower was powerful and the room itself was quiet. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were an added bonus to the stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would happily return. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

- Dirk (6/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt perfekt um alles via Metro zu erreichen. Sie ist sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und zu dritt sehr beengt. Die Lage ist eigentlich sehr ruhig. Jetzt das Negative (s. eigentlich sehr ruhig): Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof. Dieser wird jedoch auch mit anderen Häusern (die nicht zum Hotel gehören) geteilt. Freitag Abend war dann Party, die bis um 4 Uhr nachts ging. Solnagte war an Schlaf nicht zu denken.

Vi hade ett fönsterlöst rum, så det var gott att kunna smita upp på terrassen med en kopp te och en god bok efter en dag ”på stan”. Personalen väldigt vänlig och tillmötesgående. God frukost, frukostsalen i sig är en liten pärla. Ligger i ett lugnt, avslappnat område, nära till T-banan.

- Richard (8/5): Quiet, cosy hotel, but not a great room. - Hotel was conveniently located and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room was small, dark and cramped and looked out onto the internal fire escape. The fire alarm went off during the night, which was irritating.
- Karolina (10/5): Great location and good size room - Very soft and cosy bed, and a good size room for 2 people. Very close to the metro and quite a few anime/manga stores nearby. The previous guest left their bikini in the closet so I'm not sure about how clean the room actually was. Other than that we were very satisfied with our stay. Nice breakfast selection with several different type of coffee (cappuccino, latte and like 8 other types), freshly squeezed juices.
- Matthew (8/5): - We went for a Long Valentines weekend, we had a great time, the only downside was the One poster bed we had, our bed was hemmed in on two sides with a wall, and we had a bench at the end of the bed.

- Vicky (10/5): 48 hrs in Paris - Booker here wanting a nice hotel with easy transport links, staff super friendly, especially Nathan, he was very attentive, room are fabulous decor, clean, good temp and have all the things you need, there’s also a nice patisserie a few doors down, where we went for coffee, can not fault anything in this hotel, we will be returning next year, xx

- Anders (2/5): Værste hotel vi har boet på i Paris - Vi bestilte deres suite, men det var fuldstændig umuligt at opholde sig i den, fordi ventilationsanlægget larmede så meget. Vores børn kunne ikke sove for det. Vi blev lovet, at det ville slå fra senere på aftenen. Det var løgn. Personalet kom flere gange uden at forsøge at gøre noget. Jeg har optaget en video af larmen, og alle der har hørt det er helt chokeret over støjen. Derudover var der et kæmpe hul i madrassen, så vi havde fjer over det hele. Vi sov forfærdeligt og blev lovet en refundering på skrift, men da vi kom hjem, ville hotellet ikke refundere alligevel. Elendig service. Udover ventilationsanlægget, larmer og ryster det, når elevatoren kører op. Det er ikke i nærheden af at være pengene værd. Et sminket lig. Hold jer langt væk fra dette hotel.

- Alejandro (10/5): - The staff was great and rooms are clean. We booked two rooms and everyone enjoyed their stay. The rooms are typically small but comfortable. The breakfast was nice and convenient as many places don't open until 9am

- Caitlin Leah (10/5): - The receptionists were really lovely and friendly. The hotel room was clean and smelt nice. It is located close to a lovely bakery, shops and restaurants as well as public transport. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only negative from our stay was the noise in the room, though we did not alert the staff. There was a rumble below which we think was the underground evrry 10mins or so, then abive us was a constant whirring sound which was distracting especially at night when trying to sleep. This may have just been whete our room was located though. Many thanks!

- Jan (10/5): Prima verblijf met kleine aantekeningen - We verbleven vier nachten bij Ginette a la Folie en het is prima bevallen. Vlak bij Place de la République. Service van personeel was uitmuntend en de kamer was prima. Kleine minpuntjes: de topper van het bed was doorgezakt (matras eronder prima) en de kamer had weinig plekken om onze bagage even op te ruimen. Geen stoel, wel een poef. Bij ons vertrek werd niet gevraagd naar onze bevindingen, dus we hebben bovenstaande niet persoonlijk kunnen vertellen.

The rooms were stylish and charming, the beds very comfortable, the shower hot on demand. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The breakfast was plentiful and the spa a delight. - Gary (10/5): Stunning little boutique hotel - Absolutely great little hotel, service from the staff was fantastic. Room was small but perfect, luxurious and the shower was brilliant. Hadn’t opted for breakfast but ended up eating there both days, totally worth the money. Upon arrival we got a free cappuccinos, croissants and pain au chocolat. Had two fire alarms in first night, irritating to have climb out of bed twice at 1-2am but all handled brilliantly. Testament to the staff and hotel that this didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for this place. Definitely come back. Location was great, just 5mobs walk to either Republique or Oberkampf metro and loads of bars/cafes
- catherine (10/5): Wonderful hotel in Paris for couples & families - From before arriving and sorting out our stay in the hotel Spa with breakfast for my Vegan preference, to our actual stay and after check out and letting us sit in the foyer and drink hot drinks whilst waiting for our train time home, this hotel has been amazing. I can’t say enough good things to express how amazing and lovely it has been staying here and we will definitely come back. From the friendly and caring staff, to the quality of the room and the breakfast area, Spa and reception. Fantastic!! So excellent and real value for money. Plus a great location via the Metro to all major sites. We had a fabulous weekend in Paris.
