• Hanna (7/5): Beautiful place, but don't take a shuttle. - The house was great, beautiful and the host was very kind. Don't take the shuttle option. Or, if you do, haggle. They will ask 5 times the price for what it is worth and send a bad car that comes way too late. I think it is part of the culture, but seeing that there are not many reasons to come to downtown Cairo now the GEM is built, I would change it and start offering a fair price.

Walking distance to the main attractions like Nile river, Cairo tower, Tahrir Square, Zamalek, etc Apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we expected. Same like in the pictures. Beds were very comfortable. Wifi connection was great.

Das fanden wir sehr nett, und es hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Sie war insgesamt sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Appartment ist zentral gelegen, direkt an einer größeren Straße, also relativ laut. Uns hat es nicht gestört,
• Nandi (9/5): It was great overall and I would recommend. - Recently stayed at this apartment and it was beyond my expectations. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It's located in a convenient neighborhood with everything nearby. The host was also very helpful and assisted us throughout our stay. There is no elevator but the host can arrange some one to help taking the luggage upstairs.

• Erkin (9/5): Overall nice to stay here, you can prefer it. - Location is so close to the old town city center and apartment have all the equipments that you need. It is an old building but the apartment is stylish and new furnished.
• Basavaraju (5/5): Better stay somewhere else, if you decide to stay here, don’t take help from host to setup tours. - the location was good even though the property is in a one way street. Getting in and out of the property via uber required extra effort as it was one way street. Close to many eateries and Tahrir square. The rooms were big enough for a family of 4. Street is noisy and place was little dirty, house is in an area which has workshops and mechanics. No hand wash soap was provided in any of the toilets and there was hardly any water pressure in shower. We took help from the host to setup some tours until we realized they were overcharging for everything. 15-20% commission is ok but at times it exceeded 40%. For e.g., they charged $47 for airport transfer while taxi charged $16 and uber charged $8. We lost something in the apartment, host didn’t care to help us retrieve that.
• Patrycja (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing, excellent, exquisite. We were truly lucky. Apartment was clean, well equipped and in a perfect location to explore Cairo. Beautiful vintage design. I highly recommend it! It is loud because of the street, it would be nice to soundproof the place a little.

• Youssef (10/5): Excellent! Cannot recommend this place enough. - Location was amazing, the place was very clean and comfortable, the hosts were very accommodating! Highly recommend staying here, we were very happy we chose this place.
• Joanie (9/5): We enjoyed our 2 nights 3 days stay and love that amenities n restaurants were within walking distance 👍🏻 - Lovely apartment, spacious and perfect for us 4 adults. It was so comfortable we forgot to photograph the rooms and kitchen 😜 we like the fact that it’s AC only in bedrooms n fan in living area. There’s also the option of using fans n not AC in the bedrooms but one of the rooms did not have a fan.. luckily the AC worked - maybe this out to be fixed asap. Location was also great esply when we could walk everywhere and an occasional u er to museums a distance away. There were also prepared bottles of filtered water chilling in the fridge which was very nice though we preferred bottle water as we are not locals and not used to the local tap water even when filtered. Asala was very prompt in her attention and service and highly appreciated for her response every time we had a query 🙂 Thanks also for recommending places to dine at .. it is a good reference for future visits. The master bathroom ought to also have a towel rack like in the common bathroom as we have no way to hang clothes or towels. Would be good to fix this asap. Choice of stiff shower curtain ought to be replaced with sliding panel instead. I think there was an oversight in provision of shampoo and shower gel/soap .. staff was quick to rectify it so we know it’s an innocent oversight 👍🏻 We found only one AC remote and used it for all 3 rooms. There was a 2nd remote with no batteries. It was a cultural experience figuring out the AC power switch before using the remote 😜
