Guest Reviews
- Sebastian (10/5): Immaculate apartment, walking distance to the ancient sites and entertainment, highly recommended - Firstly, the property is extremely secure, and the keys were easily obtained from the front of the building. The apartment was immaculate and just as described—it also matched the pictures on the Booking.com site perfectly.
Communication was fantastic from start to finish. We were lucky to find a free parking space right outside the apartment block.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including a large fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, and washing machine. There were also shed loads of condiments to use—salt, pepper, some herbs, cooking oil, and even washing powder and dishwasher solution, which was a really thoughtful touch. There’s also a nice little balcony at the front and another at the rear, though the rear view isn’t as great—but it’s perfect for drying clothes, so no complaints there.
The bathroom has continuous hot water, and both the overhead shower and handheld shower are perfect—great water pressure and always warm when needed.
The decor of the apartment is stylish and in great taste, and there's a large smart TV in the front room. The linen was crisp and clean, as were the abundance of towels and toiletries provided—everything felt fresh and well-maintained.
The location was perfect for us, as we didn’t mind the walk to and from the main sites (about 2 km each way). An Uber ride costs around £4-5, which is very reasonable.
The area itself (Lycabettus) is full of small, trendy bars and restaurants, giving it a really cool vibe. There’s also a wonderful market nearby that’s absolutely worth a visit—don’t buy any fruit or veg until you’ve been there, trust me!
Overall, a fantastic 6-night stay—highly recommended! The on-street parking could be a real challenge if youre not lucky, but hey, you are in a city, so this is to be expected. Freezer had a lot of food still in there; I wasn't sure what to do with it. These are tiny pionts.
