• John (7/5): - This I essentially an Airbnb with no staff onsite. To be clear I was informed of this before arriving. Contact person was very helpful and even arranged a 4:00 a.m. taxi for us. Here’s my issue: I booked this place solely because of location because I had to be at the airport before the tram runs. There is no egress to the airport from this property. Small issue: There was no Wi-Fi even though the property’s welcome folder listed one

• rosalyn (10/5): Perfectly met needs. - The property was a 10-15min walk from the tram T2. The host could not have been more accommodating. They allowed us to drop off luggage early & organised a taxi for us for 4am. Initially the room was hot and mentioning this to the host, they immediately started the aircon. It was close to the airport and met our needs perfectly. Thank you The front door was tricky, but my partner always opened it.

• Shikha (5/5): It was OK, the shower not allowing spa to stand and air con going off during the night wasn't ideal. - Beds were comfy. There was a coffee maker and kettle. Toiletries were provided. There was air con which was helpful. The air con went off around midnight until 7am and the rooms got too warm to sleep in. We found it hard to get to sleep. It was difficult to stand upright in the shower.

• Viktoria (7/5): - Not difficult to find, private parking for our car, coffee machine and coffee for the first coffee of the day The room had a smell when we got inside like mould. Air-conditioning exists but we could adjust the temperature, and in the bathroom no shampoo!!
• Guest (5/5): Close to the airport. - It was close to the airport. Large room. The bathroom was so tiny. Almost no ventilation unless you open the door, in which case you won't have any privacy. The host was aware that we are party of three, yet they provided only 2 hand towels (one of them pink). When I asked for some bath towels I was told that they were overbooked and had no more to spare. Even though the airport is close, the taxi ride cost us the same as going to the city center (perhaps because it was earlier in the morning).

• Chiara (4/5): A place for a 1 night stay, no frills and noisy refuse truck around 4:45 in the am - Was looking for location near to airport actually better to write that you can reach it on foot We had booked and paid for 3 people There were two bath towels and two tea bags, 2 coffee capsules no milk or water which considering the reviews about how good the supplies were was v disappointing Also as a reminder when travelling not everyone has limitless data so a video showing how you get in is not the best option

The apartment is near the airport, but you must walk out of your way to get out of the neighborhood. Also, we could not find a safe route from the apartment to the tram stop -- had to walk with suitcases along the highway. Couldn't find food nearby.

Good recommendations for local eatery as well as something in the ZTL zone downtown - Eliana was very helpful showing all the features of the apartment. The balcony offered a relaxing area to sit and share a bottle of wine. Bonus was we booked a time for her driver to take us to the airport the next morning. Laundry soaps were stored on the balcony outside the kitchen window. My wife is very sensitive to these odors which meant we couldn’t open that window

Exceptional communication and follow-up from host. Host arranged a reasonably priced driver to take us to airport. We stayed for 1 night and we don’t have any negatives.

• Thomas (9/5): Needed 8 hours of sleep near airport. Slept deeply, showered and departed. Very good. - All well. I found parking across the street, but am not sure I was supposed to take that space. Entry requires you put your hand through a fence and press a button. It was midnight and pouring rain so I had difficulty at first. However I phoned and they explained. Also they had sent instructional video before I arrived.

• Andy (9/5): Vespucci Rooms what a gem! - That it was within walking distance of the airport, although I'm not suggesting you do that, especially with kids. But for us, it was great. The accommodation just hit the spot. It was clean, comfortable, and secure. The self check in was great, and the videos sent via WhatsApp helped tremendously. The neighbours' yappy dogs were more annoying than the aeroplanes.
• Susan (10/5): Eliana is a one of a kind host. It was she that made the stay unforgettable. - Exceptional communication like none other. The genuine affection host has for her guests. We were greeted with a smile and outstretched arms. Clean, clean, super clean property. Although ultra close to airport, zero airport noise. Lack of directions to the Vespucci Rooms: There was info via a mapping app. However the bus number and bustop location for guests taking public transportaion would be welcomed. Tramvia: name of stop and location.
• Michael (1/5): Very disappointed and would not book again. - There was no breakfast. There was no breakfast. The location was poor. No nearby restaurants and parking was nil. Narrow angled stairs up several levels. No elevator. Toilet and tub facilities were up another awkward set of stairs. No space for luggage. The bedding was stale and smelly.
• Felicitas (3/5): No value for money. Not possible to reach airport without car. - The property is clean, staff very friendly and the bathroom is also good. Check in and check out process very easy and good instructions to follow. In my opinion no value for money. I booked this apartment to stay one night close to the airport and catch an early flight. The location is hardly reachable by foot, 15 minutes away from the T2 Tram station and only reachable by walking on the edge of car streets. Worst thing: you can see the airport but clearly can’t get there without risking your life (crossing the highway in between). So we ended up taking a taxi for 20€. Had a bad night sleep and lost a lot of money. So I would defo recommend staying closer to the city center, where you can easily reach a station of the T2 airport line and get there without taking a taxi. This location just doesn’t make sense, I was very disappointed.
• Michele (6/5): Clean close to airport - Clean with cute upstairs decor. Easy access. Helpful when we needed to call a taxi. The smell of either a disinfectant or air freshener was overwhelming. Our eyes were burning. The location was great from the airport but not the areas we wanted to spend time in near duomo. The directions to tram could have been clearer. We got lost and had to ask people on the street. When we came back at 10 at night 2 sex trade workers were standing under the bridge and yelled something at us. 3 coffee pods for 3 people for an overnight stay is not enough. It is a great place for young travellers but due to the stairs it is not a family place in our opinion. The balcony was nice and all rooms and bathroom spacious. We don't want to be harsh as it just did not suit us but may be great for others as it was spotlessly clean.
• Loomis (8/5): Love this little place for an overnight coming in or leaving Firenze. The ground level unit has a nice outdoor patio. . - Location near the airport, so close I could walk. The staff was very helpful, and they stored my luggage over the weekend. Front door needs a curtain or blind, the street lights are too bright.
• Timo (7/5): Good place to go to the airport car rental, typical motel room, although it's a standalone apartment - The location on the one hand is great, very nearby the airport. But realistically you can't cross over on foot, as there is a highway in between. So if you're willing to run over the highway (during night if needed :) ), then it's fine, otherwise you need to take quite a detour using a taxi for example, since I still don't know how to get to this place on foot in the way it's meant to. However after reaching the apartment, it's quite ok to walk from here to the car rental place in the airport, as it's on a different side of the highway. It was good value for the money, your typical motel. But as said, you can't really reach the airport on foot. You can however reach the car rental near the airport, since it's on the same side as the apartment.

The street and airport noise was a bit loud during the day, but so quiet at night! The room was small but very clean and tidy, bathroom was perfect, and the coffee was appreciated.

Very detailed and easy to follow directions were very much appreciated! All of the other places we stayed while in Italy required meeting someone to check-in which was a little inconvenient having to coordinate with someone. This was nice to be able to just show up when we wanted.

• Riccardo (10/5): Clean and easy. Close to airport. - We had our flight cancelled in the evening so needed a place quickly and near the airport as we had a flight the next morning. Thankfully Vaspucci Rooms was able to out us up and everything was sorted very quickly and easily. The walk over is short but tough due to no crossings but you can get a tram which is safer. All in all it was a great experience and saved our evening.

• Megan (6/5): Not the close airport stay we had intended - Cute space, easy enough to self check in even at a late hour. Owner was responsive to texts. Takeaway breakfast catered to our vegan tastes was very nice! Not accessible from the airport without a $25 transfer booked by the owner or a $20 taxi we took (who we had to direct step by step since he didn't understand how to access the address). Not far how the crow flies, but the roads take cars on a very round-about route to access it, and are not pedestrian friendly. Also, not close enough to the public transit when you have large, heavy bags. Not exactly what we wanted when we booked a place to stay near the airport our first night, thinking it would be easier due to our late arrival. Would have been better to just go straight into the city rather than maneuver in and out of this location. Also, couldn't figure out the Italian coffee maker, which was a disappointment in the morning!

• Benjamin (9/5): Lovely little stay if you need to be near the airport - Lovely little space with a comfortable bed, and is very near to the airport on a residential street. Bathroom was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the host was very helpful and responsive with us, even though we arrived late. The welcome basket of breakfast items left for us was a wonderful touch too. The room was quite hot when we arrived, and could seemingly only be adjusted by the owner remotely. She did so quickly, but we felt guilty messaging her for that since it was so late.

• Christy (7/5): I recommend this property for travelers. - Location near the airport. Clean and comfortable room and bath. I loved the small balcony with an awning and furniture. Loved that they allowed my dog at no extra charge. Loved that they were able to have/ book a shuttle service to take me to the airport for a 4: 30 am check-in. They made it so easy! Stairs, stairs, and more stairs. The shower floor was very slippery. And the air conditioner stopped when I turned off the lights for bed. I ended up opening the balcony door for a breeze. The strangest part was SHARING the apartment with a complete stranger who didn't speak any English. The bedroom suite was separated and lockable, but all other space was shared. It's not that I didn't "like" it, I was just not expecting it.
