• Elodie (1/5): Une arnaque complète et aucun support du côté de Booking - Rien, l’établissement ne ressemblait en rien aux photos. Tout ! Sale, appartement et mobilier dégradé, stores et paroi de douche cassés,… ne sommes pas restés
• Georgia (1/5): Don’t stay here - - This place it’s literally nothing like on the pictures. It’s so old, damaged, mouldy and filthy!
• Hannah (2/5): False advertising - The advertising was all through AI, all the rooms had holes in the floor, the cream sofa was ripped and had stuffing coming out. It was also extremely dirty. The bathroom facilities were poor and unclear. Its advertised as having shampoo etc and there were none. The fully kit out kitchen only had one fork, a broken bin and no oven proof trays. The bedside table was broken and was wedged between the bed to the wall so it could be used on 3 legs. Overall this was an awful stay and mis-advertised!

• Susana Belen (7/5): Dar bien la clave para acceder a las lleves , Apartamento .. lo esperado Lo esperado - La ubicación un poquito alejado pero bastante bien. Y el sofá cama ..... Un poco pequeño para 2 personas Llegamos y enseguida encontremos la caja con código que nos decían las indicaciones, estuvimos introduciendo el código indicado en el correo y no se abría la cajita, estuvimos alrededor de 1 hora y media intentando abrir la cajita y llamando al número de tlf que se nos indicaba dicho correo , el tlf estaba apagado. ( Y así nos lo afirmaron varias personas a las que pedimos que llamarán ellas también cuando les pedimos ayuda ) Finalmente un vecino del edificio muy amablemente llamó por tlf ( creo que a Booking) y le dieron otro código para la cajita totalmente distinto y ahí ya se abrió la caja. Nos habían dado mal la clave de acceso a las llaves. Y No contestaban al tlf ya que salía que estaba apagado. Pasamos un rato bastante malo ya que nadie se hacía cargo del problema , hicimos llamadas telefónicas. Enviamos email, y whats app sin obtener respuesta nunca. Ya han pasado 2 semanas y aún no se han dignado a contestar a nada. Nos preguntamos si durante nuestra estancia hubiera surgido algún tipo de problema tipo .... Nos quedamos sin luz o hay algún escape de agua o no funciona la caldera. Teniendo en cuenta la dificultad con el idioma ya que el inglés no es nuestro idioma natal.

Stayed twice before this visit, but won't again. It wasn't cleaned before last guests. Dirty towels. Dirty bedding. Dirty dishes. Dirty sofa. Dirty table. Dirty floor. . Unflushed toilet. Travelled to London for work, had to return home without being able to fulfill the rain to be there. Have the host time to find a cleaner and more than a week to apologise. Got a refund, but it's not enough to compensate for the inconvenience caused and the trouble that ensued with my work. No proper apology from host or from booking.com. Just appalling.

• Ian (8/5): Good location, simple and convenient apartment. - Convenient, simple to access, good location for the city.
• Fielding (5/5): Perfect location, health hazard cleanliness & low upkeep (avoid if you want a clean property) - Location is absolutely spot on - right above a brilliant pub, over the road from a large supermarket and surrounded by coffee spots, breakfast spots and some trendy spots for food too. Some good car parks that weren't too expensive either for those driving in - defo get down to howl at the moon if you want some good drink & tasty pizza. Cleanliness and general upkeep of the property is dire. Dead cockroaches in cupboards, bathroom needed a renovation 20 years ago and the flooring itself is the cheapest available with gaps in & incredibly warped in the bathroom. Sofabed cannot sleep more than one person over 5 foot 5 and the bed itself needs a new mattress ASAP. Also blood spattered on walls, the mattress & floor in some spots, teabags out of date in the cupboard (so the tiny carton of milk was pointless anyway) - desperately needs a full renovation as the space itself is good, needs some good money spent on it or for an actual cleaner who will clean up empty bottles left under the sofabed...

I super recommend. And sure when we working around , will book it again.

• Fernando (10/5): Awesome stay - Everything perfect, spotless, management helps a lot , I had health problems after injure my finger, I was at the park with my partner in pain , waiting for the check in time 15, the te manage to let me check in at 11 in a urgent special case , it’s priceless. Very well located , Lidle at oposit side of the road , many shoppings around , public transport… I highly recommend, and I have more days working around, till they have vacancy, I will be with then…

• Aurélie (2/5): Malgré le bon emplacement, cette location est décevante. - La localisation Le canapé dans la pièce principale ne correspond pas à un vrai canapé lit, même pour des enfants. Cette pièce est bruyante avec le bar en dessous. Quand nous sommes arrivés, il manquait des couverts pour 4 voyageurs. Nous l’avons signalé mais cela n’a pas été complété alors que nous dormions 4 nuits. à notre hôte. Enfin, le sol de l’appartement est vétuste, il y a des trous par endroit.
• Doreen (3/5): Lage top, Sauberkeit Flop - Die Lage war sehr gut, die Haltestellen für Bus und Metro waren schnell zu erreichen und bis ins Zentrum waren es ca. 30 Minuten zu fahren je nach Verkehrslage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung war unglaublich dreckig, das Mobiliar kaputt und verschlissen. Auf der Matratze befanden sich gelbe Flecken, Auf den "frischen" Kopfkissenbezügen waren Haare. Ordentlich geputzt, ein paar Suche erneuert und die Wohnung wäre super. Aber dieser Schmutz überall geht gar nicht.

• Valentina (3/5): Didn't feel safe as soon as a i got there, so didn't stay the night and booked somewhere else. - As soon as I arrived in the area, I didn't feel safe. The room is above a busy pub in a questionable area, and the front door on the street wouldn't close and lock properly. Being alone, I just couldn't stay here without the fear of someone trying to get in. The main door to the apartment had a gap under the door, making it easy for anyone to attempt to enter. The apartment itself is basic and needs some renovations in the bathroom and kitchen too, not worth the money and definitely not suitable for more than 2 people.
• Zoltán (1/5): Not that what you expect. - What did you like? The good accessibility by public transport. There is a Lidl shop near to the accomodation, opened until 22:00. Nice coffe bar in the near with very nice owner (Sabretooth). But the apartement itself was TERRIBLE. The booking.com pictures are very much not reflecting the real condition! The apartment is very much not as comfortable as described. The host was verbally nice, but because of the mistakes he did not even think of giving a refund or other compensation, he only apologized. I booked the flat on booking.com with 2 rooms for 4 people, 3 adults and a 14 year old. None of the furniture in the living room is suitable for a person of that age to sleep on! There is a fold-out sofa bed, which is narrow for 2 people and very short, legs of a 178 cm tall person's hang off. The other sofa is not suitable for sleeping. The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 2 people! When I complained about this, it was clearly blamed on booking.com that they were the reason why it was possible to book 2 rooms for 4 people. The fans were so dirty, had not been cleaned in months. We cleaned them. We got no thanks for it. Theoretically next day came a cleaner, but cleaned only some places, other dirts remained there. Mostly it was horribly dirty. The person who came after us gave the accommodation a good rating - probably also because we had cleaned the apartment. The toilet bowl was disgustingly dirty under the rim. In the bathroom, tiny cockroaches were running on the walls and in the bath. The quality of the parquet flooring is poor, with huge gaps. The kitchen utensils and tiles were grease stained, the cutlery holder and cooking utensil holder were sticky from dirt. There were burnt on spots on the hob. Pest control had been there before we arrived, this caused dying cockroaches of all sizes to crawl out the next day. We hoped it was effective, but it was not. On the next day active, vigorous cockroaches of 0.5..2cm appeared again. Maybe the whole buliding is infected? There is a hairdryer but no socket in the bathroom. We were there on a weekday, then the noise from the pub wasn't too disturbing, by midnight it was usually quiet.
• Arnet (9/5): Superb value for privacy - The flat was bright, clean and surprisingly spacious. Excellent value for money. It had a separate kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The location was very convenient, a short walk to Hoxton Station. Being above a busy pun worried me however the pub was very protective in moving on customers at closing time so it was beautifully quiet when I wanted to sleep. I had good clear instructions re finding the property and getting in. I was even offered the opportunity to drop my bag off earlier if I wanted to before check in. The floor is tired and could benefit from an overhaul. In the bathroom one of the sheets of laminate flooring was sticking up, damage from water spillage from the shower. I stubbed my toe on this unfortunately, maybe a bathmat would help on the floor until it can be fixed.

• Farid (1/5): The worst Booking reservation I’ve ever had. - Nothing, if you have a reservation in this accommodation that can be cancelled CANCEL IT, the apartment was sold when we arrived, the cleaning was only done after being REQUESTED from the owner for the next day, and is infested with cockroaches, impossible to open our suitcases upon arrival, we had reserved two nights including the first where we had to book another hotel elsewhere (expensive given the prices in London) because it was not clean, stay safe and do not go there EVERYTHING ESPECIALLY HOW RUHAN AND YUSUF ARE SCAMMERS THEY DON’T EVEN WANT TO GIVE US A REFUND FOR WHAT HAPPENED

• Arūnas (1/5): Very bad stay. - First of all, there are cockroaches in the apartment! Dirty bedding, dirty floor, we couldn't walk barefoot because our feet were immediately dirty. Dirty dishes in the kitchen, not washed properly. Sofa bed in the living room, definitely not suitable for sleeping two people, too small in length and too narrow. There was constant noise from the bar on the first floor.

• Sabrina (1/5): I left the place after the first day! - Nothing It was so dirty omg, where do I start. The bathroom had hair on the floor and some piece of toiletpaper. The bed had stains this was disgusting. There were sooooo many cockroaches ew. The kitchen and the bathroom was full of them. There were even some on my toothbrush??? I was so uncomfortable I got a new place to stay after the first day. The host did not response to my messages or calls, so I called Booking Customer Care and after that I got a message saying "I understand if you want to change" but I did not get my money back!! This was the worst experience I had and this host should please please change these things. Omg the washingmashin was also soooo dirty. NEVER AGAIN and I never write reviews, cause nothing is that bad but I thought people should know! Don't go there!

• Samuel (1/5): Avoid unless you like broken bathroom doors and unresponsive hosts - AVOID. We received a message shortly before check in saying that the bathroom door had broken but not fixed and we should not close it, otherwise one would get locked in. It was too late to find another place. In any case Yusuf did not respond to any of my subsequent messages - totally ignored them all. Flat is in a good location but is grubby.

• User (6/5): Pleasant - Despite being above a pub it was surprisingly quiet. The only real noise came from the corridor because the front door doesn't seal. Spring mattress is worn out. Can squash flat with my hand. Woke up with backache. Blood splatter on the bedroom wall and broken sockets. Bathroom floor a bit grotty. No tea towel so used hand towel.

• Vanessa (7/5): Great location in London, very spacious and with light. Just need to change the sofa bed and it will be perfect. - Location and the space. We should be warned that it is above the pub and the music stops at 1 am. The installation of the Saturday morning market is also loud. The sofa bed in the leaving room is very small and not appropriate for 2 normal size adults. It’s more for children.

• Rhiannon (1/5): Can’t recommend as didn’t stay but joining instructions are needed - There was Joni formation on which flat at the address it was so I had to ring every flat and joined let me in, nor did anyone am sweet my calls or emails, so I didn’t stay there and had to find another hotel which I luckily managed but I want a refund! The landlords clearly don’t care about people finding it easy or comfortable to stay there- they just want to the money for the space. Anyone more timing than me would have freaked out in this situation as I only finished my course at 6:30 so it was late to have this curveball
• Matthew (8/5): A comfortable base in the heart of Hoxton. - The location of this apartment was excellent for us - right in the heart of Hoxton. Communication with the host was very good, and check-in straightforward. The apartment was quite basic, but spacious, clean and comfortable. It made a great base for the weekend. The loud music from the pub next door was quite intrusive.
