Guest Reviews
- Phaedra (1/5): Shortened our stay, would not recommend - Very dirty Toilet bowl not cleaned properly, dirt and dust around the place, cutlery dirty, and pillows smelly
- Pritchard (1/5): Worst accommodation I have eve - Nothing, absolutely nothing !!! If you ever wondered whether rock bottom has a basement, look no further — Kozy Guru will personally escort you straight to hell, faster than a one-punch knockout from Jake Paul.
From their ghost-mode customer service, to unclean, roach-infested rooms and beds, to a money-grabbing business model that deserves its own case study, you’d genuinely be better off sleeping on the street with the sewer rats — at least then, you’re suffering for free.
They’ll happily take your money, blame you for everything, and then invent a creative fiction where you’re somehow at fault. And if you think Booking.com will swoop in and save the day? Think again. Policy dictates customer satisfaction — not logic, evidence, or reality.
This is not satire. I wish it were.
Do not book anything under Kozy Guru unless your idea of a “special night away” includes sleeping in your car, arguing with customer support that doesn’t exist, and chasing a refund like it’s a full-time job.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!
- Max (1/5): - DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. THE OWNERS ARE SCAMMERS. THEY CHARGE A 350 DOLLAR SECURITY DEPOSIT, AND HAVE REFUSED TO RETURN IT TO ME WHEN AN ALREADY DEFECTIVE LIGHT SWITCH SOCKET CASING BROKE. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE
- Sonya (3/5): won't stay there again - Location no iron, no light at key box, floor was dirty, shower grotty and water pressure appalling, pillow on bed and spare pillows stunk
- Timothy (5/5): Very basic but you get what you pay for... - The location to Summer Hill and public transport is great.
The WIFI worked well.
The coffee machine is good, it would have been nice if there was a complimentary coffee, tea & milk welcome pack!
They refunded my deposit quite quickly, but I think they should have secured it on the CC, like hotels do rather than actually charging it and then refunding it.
Yes I will stay here again. There was only one key, I think there should be two.
The bed is worse than a park bench, so hard.
The aircon either wouldn't work or was very noisy and kept shutting down.
Windows need security screens, can't be open during rain as it comes in.
There was very limited cutlery & crockery, not even two coffee mugs.
There is no kitchen sink, the bathroom sink has to be used for washing dishes, I had to fix the in-built sink plug as it was jammed.
The water pressure is very low, it takes ages for the hot water to come through, and the shower is not sealed at the floor so the water runs into the bathroom.
There was no answer when I phoned Customer Service.
The SMS number that they used can not be responded to by budget PAYG phone plans as it was international.
There is no mid-stay room cleaning for a long stay, as with replenishing standard consumables (toilet paper!) or clean towels.
