• Sam (7/5): A place to relax - We loved the table at the window facing towards the beach. Even the balcony at the back had the beach view. The house gave us relaxing vibes and we felt relaxed. Loved the little secure backyard it was good as we travelled with a dog. The walk to town was great on the walking path. Just small hiccups, nothing major. No access to lock up garage. Trouble checking in at agreed time. Early check in (at 2p.m) was approved and arrangements were made to check in and then go for Good Friday Service at 3p.m to Mount Gambier (local church didn't have Good Friday service). But the place wasn't ready. We were only able to check in after 2.30p.m. Which didn't give us enough time to travel to Mount Gambier for the service. Alternate travel arrangements could have been made if we were informed that the place wouldn't be ready by 2p.m. A rubbish bin downstairs would be handy as the toilet, bathroom and rooms are located downstairs. Little clothes rack inside would also be handy for rainy / wet days (to air out the towels / clothes etc).
• Derek (7/5): - The house itself was easy to find and really nice to stay in, the host was lovely. The views a bit further up the road past the lighthouse were incredible, and the food we could get nearby was great. The town honestly stinks, like literally smells awful. Don't know if we just got a bad time of year for algae or something but we don't think we'll visit again. We got into town two minutes later than expected and had to change our dinner plans as they closed the kitchen. Seriously, two minutes, bit slack.

• Kareem (1/5): Don’t book if you want to be stranded. - Nothing Booked this property in the morning and I live in Melbourne Drove 5 hours rested at Mount gambier at 1pm waiting for our check in at 2pm. We get a message from Rosa saying that there has been a double booking and she needs to cancel our booking. She “apparently” was trying to get in contact with booking.com to help with alternate accommodation but they “kept hanging up on her”. This would’ve been completely fine if she had done her job and realised earlier that there were 2 bookings on the same day. It looks like to me she might’ve gotten a better offer longer than 2 nights and she decided to take that instead. I have 2 young kids and was forced to stay overnight in the car because there were no available accommodation because it’s the holiday season or I would’ve had to pay over 3k for 2 nights. She ruined our holiday and did little to help when I told her out circumstance all she could tell me is don’t be rude. I didn’t swear in the circumstance I was very polite, and I’ll say again what I said to her in the message if you are not capable of running an airbnb then find another business. And if it was booking.com fault you should do whatever you can to try and help not tell me to do it.

• Ruth (2/5): Schlechteste Unterkunft unserer Reise - Die Lage war gut. Unser check-in am 21.Nov., war wie des öfteren ohne Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Die Einrichtung des Hauses war zwar oldfashion aber ok. Leider kann man das von der Sauberkeit nicht behaupten, Im! Küchenschrank Spinnweben, das zeigt, dass hier schon lange nicht mehr gereinigt wurde. Viel schlimmer war aber das Bett. Verschiedene Haare , Blutflecken und schwarze Striche am Bettbezug und richtig eklig, offensichtliche Spermaspuren auf der blauen Bettdecke. Mein Versuch die Vermieterin zu kontaktieren blieb erfolglos. Erst am nächsten Morgen hat sie sich gemeldet. Ich erklärte ihr die Situation worauf sie mir 30 AUD als Entschädigung anbot. Auch die habe ich bis heute nicht erhalten. Dies war die schlechteste Unterkunft unserer 6 wöchigen Reise durch Australien.

• Naomi (10/5): A home away from home. - This beautiful home was a home away from home. Well sized bedrooms. Carpets were nice and soft, well equipped kitchen for families and views were great! The only thing is that was needed was a bin in the separate toilet or the bathroom. Especially for ladies sanitary needs. Also possibly a clothes airer or clothes dryer for the days when it’s wet outside.
• Anna (9/5): Superb - very roomy & clean. unfortunately the fence at the back door was ajar/broken and in the wind it continually creeked and banged all night. the large front window looks into the neighbours room, a bit awkward to enjoy the ocean views.

• Shiala (8/5): Very good - Location, excellent communication with the host and ease of entry into the property. Not having a clothes dryer on site to accompany the washing machine. I was looking forward to doing some much needed laundry (I’ve been traveling in Australia for 3 weeks to date), but couldn’t do laundry because the weather prevented me from drying laundry outside. Also, a few more bath towels and wash cloths would have be nice, along with some rubbish bins located around the house.

• Nicole (9/5): Great! Would stay again. - The house was lovely with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Bed in main bedroom was super comfy. Great view from the front balcony of the water. It wasn't a short walk into town but no big deal really. Definitely a short drive and a long stroll into town.
