Guest Reviews
- Justine (8/5): Small, short but sweet - As expected, and wildlife ☺️ Signage could be better at the entrance to where you turn into the property field. Missed it initially as it was dusk. Sorry to not meet the hosts.
- Elaine (10/5): Peaceful, quiet escape to the country! - Private and quiet. Only sounds were from birds, so nice to get away from the noise of civilization!
- Lisa (9/5): A lovely place to breathe and disconnect. - Friendly hosts, stunning location to disconnect from the world and amazing duck eggs. Nothing
- Karena (10/5): Perfect spot for a relaxing rural retreat - Tidy, private rural setting. All the bases covered with essentials and items needed to enjoy the stay
- Heather Rbn (10/5): Would be back in a heartbeat - Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
- Panta (9/5): Getaway - Sweet small cozy perfect for couples, all facilities included hot water kitchen all utensils, microwave shower comfortable bed heat pump fireplace bbq nothing more you could ask for. we were lucky the owner gave us some local eggs (winter) bacon and a roll. Short drive to Mount Mawson and Russell Falls to see snow or hike in the snowy mountains. lots of wallaby poo on the perimeter luckily we took two shoes so we used one for outside other for inside but had to clean the first shoes and left some stains on the door mat
- Liz (10/5): Great place to wind down - Cosy and great for a short stop en route to Strahan
- Jessica (10/5): Great place, does get cold at night so might need to start the heating a little earlier. But otherwise perfect - Location was amazing. Lovely little place to stay. Nothing
- Tarnee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amelia (9/5): So idyllic, perfectly comfortable. - Perfect bed, shower was fantastic. Loved everything. Nothing!
- Valerie (7/5): Very tiny, but great location - Wonderful location, but hard when it is raining. Nowhere to leave muddy walking shoes, as no under cover outside. Very strange that there were old jam pots in the fridge, and a kit of other containers were nearly empty. It would be great to have the information booklet updated. We shopped in Ouse, and ate in Hamilton one night.
- Susan (10/5): Lovely peaceful getaway. - The seclusion, a very peaceful stay.
- Tim (9/5): Great place to stay away from the crowds! - Great location and setup, easy to access and a really helpful host!
- Jessica (10/5): Amazing time...... - We had an amazing experience! The location was perfect, and the setup was simply beautiful. We spent half the night outside, gazing at the stars, and woke up to a stunning sunrise in the morning. It was truly unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back one day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
- Odhran (9/5): Superb -
- Guit (8/5): Very good - What an experience. Lovely tiny cabin with full facilities. Well functional toilet and bathroom. Good size kitchen and comfortable bed. Love the serene environment. Easy check in check out. Really enjoyed the coffe time, dinner and breakfast time away from all hassles... Highly recommended. Somehow the big natural grass compound has animal poos all around......
- Jane (7/5): Cosy and comfortable - Great location. It was isolated from civilisation and very peaceful. The tiny home was smaller than what I expected. I didn't have room to put the luggage anywhere.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Henriette (8/5): Nice concept to sleep in for a few nights. - The bed was very comfy, utilities are good, everything is in there. The vicinity is great, very nice view, no one there. The outside chairs were wobbly, would be nice to be more comfortable. Inside chairs the same as outside. The showertub floor is very slippery.
- Deb (9/5): A great short stay away - Peaceful & very comfortable
- Kirill (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing little house, in an amazing location with amazing hosts! Facilities were perfect and Venesser was an extremely welcoming and kind host, willing to help with any extra needs. Can’t compliment her enough!
- Kirra (8/5): Nice little place close to Mt Field National Park. Although very compact we enjoyed our one night stay. - Location close to Mt Field National Park. Bed was very comfortable. Although we knew it was a tiny house it was smaller than expected. Not much room to move around but was fine for our one night stay. Would have liked a hair dryer.
- Josh (9/5): Superb - Amazing location a very very relaxing environment Contents in the fridge could have been new products.
- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful location and helpful owner - Beautiful location, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cabin has everything you’d need and is very comfortable.
We decided we didn’t fancy heading out again for dinner when we arrived because it was so beautiful and cosy, and Venesser responded to our message immediately offering food for us to cook in the cabin including bacon, cream and garlic. This really made our stay! Not a problem for us, but be aware that the parking is in a field where the cabin is.
- Philippa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (9/5): Beautiful getaway - Beautiful area and scenery, the owners even gave us some fresh scones and duck eggs.
- Carole (10/5): Wonderful experience - Great location. Suited our travel arrangements perfectly Nothing
- Ebony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (3/5): Poor - Overpriced for what it was. We have stayed in bigger caravans.
- A (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (7/5): Cute and Comfortable Tiny Home - The Tiny home was as described, the Beds very comfortable, easy to find and in a out of the way place. Unfortunately for us, the weather turned the night we stayed there and the wind was ferocious, the tiny home shook and the wind whistled around. This was out of anyone’s control but still affected our one night stay.
- Paulius (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (9/5): Superb - So peaceful and quite. Lovely spot and great tiny home. Very impressed.
- Scott (10/5): Glamping at its finest! - Loved the quiet setting, country views and wildlife. It was “glamping” at its finest and the owner was simply marvelous.
- Alan (10/5): What a great find!, - The tiny house was perfect everything you need in the kitchen, comfy bed and really good shower. The location was amazing in the forest surrounded by nature and wallabies just wandering around. The best thing about it were the hosts, Barry and Venessa - father and daughter team, they were so welcoming and we had some great chats with them and they brought scones and jam!!! Very knowledgeable about the area and really fun to talk to - would go back just to see them again - thanks so much Nothing
- Jo (8/5): Amazing place. Love being away from civilization - The solitude. Being able to have a fire. That we weren’t prepared food wise as didn’t know how isolated it was and there were no shops near. Would have been great to know ow this. The restaurants pubs suggested were quite a drive away and closed most days.
- Twt (9/5): Superb - Cosy bed
Beautiful house
Good kitchen equipments supply Dirty fridge door surface, full with greasy finger marks
Few trucks passing through during the stay, no privacy
A dead flies on the bed during our check in
- Geoff (9/5): Superb -
- Beverley (7/5): Enjoyable - Quiet. Great hosts. It's a farm . . . so animal poo everywhere.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Tiny stay in a lovely location. Well equipped and very clean. Our hosts were excellent.
Just what was needed for a comfy weekend away with easy access to Mt Field.
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Gillian (10/5): Fantastic tiny home experience with a warm & welcoming host - Venesser was an exceptional host. She greeted us upon arrival at the property and arranged our preordered dinner meals. She also took time out of her work day to show us around the farm the next morning, and my husband and I were lucky enough to see a handful of ducklings only a week old! The tiny home itself was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. NA
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cazar (10/5): True Tassie getaway - Loved the paddock, the tiny house was great . Opportunity to feed the new lamb so lovely. Venesser made us vegan blueberry pancakes for breakfast which were very yummy. Fire pit and bbq made the evening Nothing
- Brendan (10/5): Peaceful and scenic - This was a very peaceful and pleasant farm stay. Very comfortable and scenic, for a tiny home. The home made scones were an absolute treat, but feeding the baby lamb was the highlight. Easy to find and clear communication from hosts.
- Katrina (10/5): Amazing little place! - Loved our stay here! Pine Edge Heights was such a gorgeous little place 😍 So convenient to Mt Field National Park & and the tiny house is beautifully set up. Oh and this amazing little spot - wow! Vanesser was an excellent communicator - check-in was super easy. We would definitely stay again when we next visit this area - I highly recommend it! 👌 Nothing - Vanesser has done an amazing job!
- Tristan (10/5): Exceptional - The tiny home was great, had everything you need, a bit like a caravan but bigger and with more home like decoration. Cooking facilities and shower were good. The host left some fresh scones when we arrived:) Friendly lambs came to play.
- Jason (10/5): This was the perfect stopover on my Tassie Trail journey to rest and recover. Thanks again for a great night! - Loved the hospitality of the host who provided fresh homemade scones with her own jam as well as eggs fresh from their farm.
There was an amazing view from every window!
