Important Information
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
Bright Escapes reserves the right to hold Credit Card details on file as security for any damages, excess cleaning and any extra charges that may be incurred during your stay.
These card details will be securely kept for 14 days after departure and any damages or additional charges will be charged to the card within that time frame if needed. Once the 14 days after departure has passed the card details are automatically deleted from our secure system.
Some properties require an additional cash bond to be held (advertised on individual listings if applicable.
Bright Escapes reserves the right to claim compensation from the credit card provided in the event of:
The accommodation is not left in the condition it was found in relation to building, cleanliness and grounds.
This also applies to any furniture and fittings that are not returned to their original position.
If excess cleaning is required beyond our allocated cleaning time of a property due to lack of care from guests, this is inclusive of extra cleaning required due to pets (see full pet terms below)
If the amount of bedding that is used exceeds the number of guests that have been noted on your booking without notifying Bright Escapes.
If keys are not returned to the lockbox at the property, or a key is lost or damaged, a $25.00 fee will apply.
Guests that fail to depart by 10am without having made prior arrangements with Bright Escapes will be charged for the time our cleaning staff are kept waiting to gain access to the property.
The BBQ is not clean, a $75.00 fee will apply.
When finalising your booking, the primary guest acknowledges that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and that they are responsible for the compliance of those rules by all other guests as well.
WIFI Conditions (Applies to properties that provide WIFI)
Whilst we do anticipate WIFI will be available during your stay, it is not guaranteed. WIFI availability is dependent on the
network provider.
Bright Escapes will not be held accountable for network errors.
Strict NO PARTY Policy
All disruptive parties and events are prohibited. In the event of disruption to neighbours, Bright Escapes will gain possession of the property immediately and guests will be asked to leave with no refund.
Keys
There will be 2 sets of keys at the property. 1 set in the key lockbox for access, the second set is located inside. Please ensure you return the lockbox key set to the lockbox immediately after accessing the property.
This will be your backup key in the event of lockout!
Please use the keys located inside the property during your stay.
$100.00 call out fee will apply for lockouts when keys have not been returned to lockbox.
Lost Property
Please ensure personal items are not left behind. A handling fee of $80.00 plus postage will be incurred for return of property.
Firewood
Firewood is provided to all properties that offer a wood fire from 1 May - 30 September. Outside of this period you are welcome to purchase firewood at your own expense.
If the allocation of firewood is used up, guests will be required to purchase more if desired.

- Warren (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the electric blankets and beds, the location and outlook from the unit. It was also very quiet which was lovely. The carport was very convenient and close. It was a very picturesque and serene spot and felt very welcoming coming back after a day out and about through the area. The stovetop was a little hard to work out due to the markings being almost rubbed off, and the switch to turn it on and off.(A label would help)The front door had a fairly decent air gap which let cold air in. I was able to block it up but maybe some seal would help reduce the airflow. This is also very minor, but a little step from the front deck to the carport(off the side) would be awesome, as it would be more direct and keep people out of the weather.

A little confusing on arrival number on the doors did not match the numbers on the carports.

- Christine (8/5): Apart from the bed, the unit was great, It had everything in it that we needed and was very good - The double bed in the 2nd bedroom, the room with the bunks, was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very lumpy. It needs to be replaced.
- Andrew (6/5): Located in Bright but would look for other locations - The property was presented very well and immediately felt welcoming The functionality of the kitchen.
For 4 people there is insufficient storage to place any shopping in the cupboards nor is there adequate bench space to prepare food.
I’d have thought for the price paid that the kitchen would be more functional - we ended up preparing food on the table but then had to eat outside.

- Robin (8/5): We enjoyed our stay in Bright, it’s a lovely place. Shame many places close down at the end of the season. Great place f - The property was well appointed in the kitchen especially with utensils etc for self catering. It was in reasonable condition in the main with a neutral decor. Electric blankets for the winter stay was a priceless perk. With the pathway to to rear leading to the town centre made it an ideal location, walking in and out of the town two or three times a day gave us needed exercise to burn off the holiday indulgences. It’s set back from the road far enough with main bedroom at the back for road noise not to be an issue. The front door is an internal partition door so it is twisted and warped letting in cold drafts so, the heating struggled to compete, with the bathroom staying frigid cold all the time. Getting up during the night and in the morning were not welcome. Better insulation and seeing to some drafts could make for a warmer stay and cooler in the summer. The TV is a token gesture ticking the box of there being one, poorly situated too but, not used as we don’t bother with it much anyway.
- Amanda (10/5): Clean, comfortable great value for money - Out of the main hustle and bustle. We were there for Brighter Days and shuttle bus stop was right across the road. Unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Too far to walk to cafes but township was way too busy anyway because of the festival. Clothes dryer would be handy.
