Guest Reviews
- Norbert (10/5): Nice place - everything ... it is an extraordinary appartement with beautiful charme and great view from the rooftops. nothing ... except we had to leave ...
- Janice (9/5): Great location/space for a family/group. - Loved the 2 outdoor spaces, location was close to bus and train routes as well as close enough to walk to many of the attractions we visited. Convenient to have a restaurant on the main floor.
- EDWIN (1/5): PLEASE MENTION HOW MANY STEPS YOU CLIMBE to get to 2nd floor with no elevator. - Nothing very scary, it’s say on second floor yes it is, but after climbing 100 steps fills like on 5th floor no elevator.
- Matthew (10/5): Fabulous views - Great location, stunning views.
We were able to drop our bags off and complete check in which was very helpful thanks to Carlotta and Emma.
- Martin Janos (10/5): Cozy mediterranean rooftop apartment - Its a cozy rooftop apartment in a good neighborhood. It is close to the Pyramid, a major bus station and also not far from the Colosseum and Palatine hills. Super friendly owners None
- Sara (10/5): - La casita es de lo más original, se nota que los dueños son artistas. Tiene dos terrazas preciosas, sobre todo la que sale desde la cocina Nada

- Leslie (9/5): Wonderful and loved the apartment. - The neighborhood is beautiful, as were the rooftop patios on the property. The whole place was nice! Smoother communication about getting the keys and about needing cash for the taxes at check in.
- James (10/5): Grazie mille! -
- James (10/5): Lovely rooftop apartment in the heart of Rome - Lovely colourful top floor apartment. Two balconies and plenty of space to sit outside in the sun. Spacious and very clean. All facilities worked perfectly. In the current heat wave, the air con came in useful and worked well. The host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay The amount of steps up to the apartment was not ideal especially in the heat. It’s a shame there’s no lift available as it’s 3 floors up. But once up there it’s beautiful.
- Michiel (8/5): Very good -
- Baldur (8/5): Very good -
- Lívia (9/5): Superb -
- Rafael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (4/5): Quirky flat in nice location with balcony, but needs attention - Location was good.
Nice terrace. Problem with biting insects in bedrooms/beds.
Overall condition could be improved.
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iain (8/5): We had a great stay in a beautiful calm oasis near the heart of Rome. Highly recommended. - Great location with good local amenities and only 15 minutes walk from the colosseum. Had problems with the hot water but this was resolved quickly by our excellent host.
- Ján (9/5): Very nice accomodation and perfect location. - Location was perrfct. Walking distance from Colloseum.
Very nice and spacious appartment with a perfect atmosphere and terraces. Not possible to swith on A/C and washing machine the same time.
- Morten (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet neighborhood, despite being next door to a cozy restaurant. Beautiful apartment with character. Air condition worked well.
- Shel (10/5): Perfect - Funky rooftop apartment with 2 big balconies each with city views. Restaurants on the ground floor and many, many more within walking distance. Very nice quiet area of Rome but the colosseum, baths, Paletine hill are all within a 10 min walk. We have 3 kids 12/14/16 yrs old and no complaints about the walking. There is a small park right across the street and a bakery for breakfast. Grocery store is less then a 10 min walk. Bus stops are very close as well, it was super easy to use the bus to get around. The house was fully stocked, it's just wonderful. And the owners were super helpful. I couldn't recommend this place enough! It didn't bother us at all but for anyone with mobility issues you do have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the apartment....but the view and the apartment are SO worth it!!
- P (10/5): Location 10/10 and lovely rooftop! - We were a group of 4 friends and we had an absolutely fabulous time. The place is quirky, bright and colorful, filled with books, art and authenticity. Both the host family and the neighborhood restaurant and shop staff were welcoming and easy going. While parking in the street is possible I opted to park my car at paid parking nearby and they took really good care and even trusted me to come back and pay when I took the car out for the day (20 eur for 24 hours, 24x7 attendance).
The location of San Saba Rooftop is really really top. Everything is easy to reach, metro and bus stops are nearby but we actually did most by walking. Last but not least we really need to mention the roof top terrace. For a group of friends like we were that was the cherry on top. Nice lighting, flower pots a perfect shade. Thank you for sharing this lovely place with visitors.

- Amber (7/5): Great location and house. - The property was amazing and check-in was pretty easy. We contacted the host who met us and gave us the keys. There were enough bedrooms for everyone and we LOVED the rooftop garden. There was a washer machine so we were able to do laundry and hang our clothes on the rooftop garden for them to dry during the day. The AC doesn't cool the place. We booked this place because it had AC and it had a washer machine. However, we learned that you cannot use the wash machine if you are using the AC. We discovered this while in the shower and the power went out. It was rough to get out of the shower, and get dressed in the dark, in order to call for someone to help.
We wished there was a hair dryer for our use.
