Walking distance to the Catalina Arch Rock. Perfect location to get some solitude as it is in a very quiet neighborhood. The host was excellent; it was easy to get into the cottage, and parking was just in front . About 20 minutes distance to the Arch rock.

• yenyu (10/5): Warm, Cozy Home and a Wonderful Host - We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. During the snowstorm, the host even came to help shovel the snow for us, which we really appreciated. They were also incredibly thoughtful and let us know we could have a late check-out because of the weather, and shared helpful road condition information with us. Their kindness made the whole experience so much easier. This is definitely one of the most friendly and wonderful places you could choose to stay. Highly recommended.

The cottage was very clean and had so many extras to help our stay be the best ever. It was a very quiet and private location but close to everything we wanted to do. Really, there was nothing that we didn't like.

Our host added lots of personal touches and had covered all aspects of a holiday stay. Being older we appreciated the presence of a folder containing guides for the unit as well suggested things to do, see and eat in the area.

• William (10/5): Excellent stay and highly recommended. - The little thoughtful things like the bottle of wine, games, well-stocked kitchen, towels, and especially the outside patio and the trail to Arch Rock. Nothing to dislike, but the address for Google Maps perhaps should be listed as on Little Catalina Rd rather than on Water St. as it led us down past the cottages and down to a gravel road labeled as Water St down to behind some private property.

We felt warmly welcomed and perfectly comfortable. Entering was clear and easy. Host left excellent literature to select a nice dining option for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer. • Genedith (10/5): Family friendly cottage - A perfect cottage for a family. We truly appreciated that they had board games and activities for kids. Very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Close enough to places we needed to get to and super quiet at night. Perfect for sleeping in.
• Denise (10/5): We were only there one night but I could have stayed much longer. Beautiful area of Newfoundland!! - Very quiet and peaceful. The fire pit/bbq area was outstanding! There was even a children's play area if you have little ones with you. Cottage was very tastefully appointed! There was a keurig, which is great, but a few coffee choices would be nice.

It was super clean, had great beds, sheets and towels, super cute with a bottle of wine waiting for us, and all the pots/knives we needed to make a healthy dinner after eating too many fish and chips. We really enjoyed the hike from the house to the arch, and it was super quiet. It had everything we needed from teapots to coffee pots, and a comfy couch for relaxing. Hot water and a great shower head - what else could you ask for? Thanks! Love have a key code to get in and out. We appreciated having coffee/tea, salt/pepper and the olive oil. Thanks! Because our cell service is US (and we didn't but an international plan), it would have been better for us to receive the detailed property location (i.e., the exact coordinates that Google Maps needed to get us there) in advance. But we were only 2 blocks off, so it was no big deal.

Outdoor fireplace and sitting area along with the path to the arch are extra things to make the already wonderful stay more enjoyable. There’s even a park right beside the place for younger kids. The hosts have put a lot of love and care into this place!
