• Lynne (10/5): Blue sky beach house. - Beautiful location on the beach of Emu Bay, convenient for day trips and beach walking. The property offers all that a traveler needs to be comfortable and feel welcomed to the space, lovely linens and a well equipped kitchen too!

• Sandra (9/5): It was the perfect beach hideaway - It was the perfect beach hideaway. Surrounded by nature and wildlife. A great place to relax and well appointed. The little corellas roosting in the tree were very noisy although they weren’t there every day.

• Sara (7/5): Needs some TLC for the price but lovely 3 bedroom home. - The location was great and the facilities in house were amazing. Comfortable furniture and practical. Had everything you needed in house and kitchen. Great instructions and hassle-free booking. Penguins in garden so cute. Pop up Cafe open down road Thursday to Sunday. Beach had a sand bay and water was warm, not deep. Great for kids. Drive on beach right out the back. Kitchen utilities were great. Everything we needed was thought of. Great sound system with tablet. Comfortable mattress all round and clean bedding, but the main bed frame was a bit squeaky when turning over. Might need a new bed frame or tightening. Beautiful little house in a great beach location. Plenty of space. Lots of shade. Fire wood for winter (we didn't use as summer). Dishwasher didn't use but good to have. Fridge was nice a big and cold. I think the outside was needing a good high pressure clean. Long term Bat poo stuck on front and back porch and stuck to decking wall and sliding door, screen door making smelly dirty entry. Bat was getting into ceiling making noise and flew into actual house at one point. The ceiling has fallen in kitchen and created a small crack for bat and spiders to come into house. Ceiling joing the wall needs nailing and sealing. Dead Bugs and spiders and big wasp nest at sliding front door. The air conditioning was smelly when in use. May need servicing. The smoke alarm went off in middle of night at 2am I think due to needing new battery and we could not get it to stop beeping at high volume as high ceilings and no ladder and staff don't answer calls or come around during stay to fix it. No sleep that night. Had to try to gently break it off the ceiling as the person managing /cleaner didn't answer call and we had to sleep. Shower pressure was so low and was very hard to my wash hair after swim at beach. Needs new shower head or fixing as bath water pressure and basin was great. Extra linen would have been great too. One tea towel to do dishes one bath towel each and one small bath mat to share. 3-4 days we can't wash and dry linen in time of stay. The Market Umbrella which was supposed to go over the outside table was very broken and rusty and we couldn't use it. Left it on ground where we found it. Needs removal as insect breeding in it and smelly as in weather. There was a dead gum tree out the front garden over driveway that fell on my partner and was a near miss to him and our car and when we message the manager of property that lived on KI they asked for a photos but no one remove fallen big gum tree or came. We said there is 2 more trees that look dead and termites eaten ... Future Safety risks for us or next people. Owner needs to remove dead gum trees.

• Brett (9/5): Great Beach House in Fantastic Location - The location on the beach is fantastic, loved the sound of the waves crashing on the shore , as well as the quiet times when the ocean was flat. The bed was very comfortable and the place was cosy and warm. It had everything we needed with plenty of utensils, mozzie coils etc Don’t expect something modern and pristine, as it is just a wonderfully functional beach house. There was nothing that I didn’t like.
• Martin (9/5): We had an awesome stay at emu bay. The location is unbeatable! - We had a great time at Emu Bay stay! The house is very nicely equipped and we felt very welcome here. Everything is well maintained and Daniel responded quick and very friendly to any questions we had. The little penguins around the house were very noisy at dusk and dawn. Although the little fellas are very cute, the make the spookiest noises. If you use a red light and have a little patience, you can watch them come and go which is well worth the tumult...

• Wren (8/5): Great location and views, very simple inside and dated but the views more than make up for it. - The view was 100% the best thing about the property and the ease of access to the beach was amazing. It was a simple place and had everything we needed. Doors were a bit rusty and difficult to slide. Floors were very noisy. No fan's in bedrooms to keep cool. Track to the beach is overgrown. Pictures on website are dated and the places looks different now.
