Guest Reviews
- Taite (10/5): Had a fantastic weekend glamping and would definitely recommend this stay to anyone - Location was great
Facilities were clean and accessible
Spacious and comfortable
- luigi (10/5): - Amazing this place I liked it very much thank you for your kindness
- hong (10/5): -
- Arun sai (1/5): Worst. I went back I dint stay - It’s a small tent. With no lights no facilities nothing No Electircuty
- Iain (8/5): - Beautiful location at the base of mystical Gulaga, tent was lovely, comfortable bed, Ian and the young fella were great. Farm atmosphere and gardens were invery appealing. Things we accidentally left behind were very kindly posted. Tent a little smaller than anticipated, and the walk to the facilities would have been lovely if not for the rain. Not much you can do about that 😊
- Marianne (10/5): Beautiful, magical place. Thankyou Kathryn and Marcus. - The beauty and peacefulness of our surroundings. Not to forget the coziness experienced in our caravan stay. The host Kathryn was so lovely to allow for a late check out. The host’s son Marcus was also very helpful and a lovely
Young man to deal with. Very impressed overall. Loved it all. Nothing negative to report.
- Brassington (6/5): Pleasent - The location The caravan lacking in closed windows
- Raymond Lewis (10/5): Best ever - Great Everything
- mehrzad (7/5): -
- Rachael (7/5): Lovely location and fun to have a glamping experience, was a bit of a walk to the bathroom -
- Lucy (10/5): 10/10 - This property is absolutely beautiful. When my partner, dog and I stayed it truly felt like the property was all ours. Although all the campsite and cabins were booked. The property is nestled in a perfect part of Tilba Tilba, besides the fact it was surrounded by beautiful mountains and the calmness of nature, its also a very very short drive to main strip in Tilba Tilba. We were able to take our dog to the local pub, and she was always so welcomed into the stores. We also drove to Mystery Bay which was a short trip and dog friendly beach. I cant recommend this property enough! Kath the host was so lovely and super welcoming.
If you are looking to camp, the shower faculties are great. Warm and high pressure shower! If booking a bell tent I would recommend eithr the one we stayed in called Gulaga or the one thats facing the mountains. There is one tent right next to the dairy. Perks of that one is you have closer access to the the toilets and showers, however note the dairy is the common area. No one was making too much noise, but in the chance that there is a big group using the diary at night time you might be disturbed by noise. The other tents are a little more private.
- Matisse (10/5): -
- Rod (8/5): - Great location and everything were very comfortable
Amazing views from the Glamping tent, we will look at staying again if we travel through this area again
The tent was well appointed and super comfortable. Just a couple of very minor (1st world) issues
Not tea bags in the room, there was coffee so that was a bit of a pain but 1st world as mentioned
- Heather (5/5): Expensive for what was provided. - The farm setting, animals, mountain vista and gardens were beautiful. We weren’t able to park close to the tent. And it was a long way to the communal kitchen and bathroom as well. There was no hot water for showers one morning and one of the other guests said there was none the night before either. ( One poor chap had a cold shower before he had to set off home.)
Unfortunately the tent flapped noisily for 2 nights and we were not able to sleep well. During the day the tent was hot. A bit more shade to sit under in the lovely garden area near the tent would have been nice. Flies were a nuisance down near our tent .
- Goose (6/5): It was a great experience very peaceful surroundings. - No breakfast offered. Stayed in one of the glamping tents on site. The Tent was very comfortable. No electricity in tent candles where left in tent for our use. Extra rugs in room. One suggestion id make would be to even out the common camp area. The ground is very uneven and hard to walk on.
- Shalini (8/5): It was great location tent was good but caravan was not clean and not maintained - Location Cleaning
- Veronica (10/5): Perfect place to relax - The tent was very spacious and comfortable, plenty of extra bedding for warmth. The property is gorgeous and easy to get to. Kathryn is super friendly and provided all of the information I needed to enjoy my stay.
- Bidhya (8/5): We had a great time there. - Everything is good and it is very peaceful. There are many flies, which is understandable since it’s a farm.
- Shikshya (1/5): -
- Elisa (10/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): Very enjoyable would love to return - Location was secluded peaceful, stunning views, amenities very good and clean No complaints
- Kate (8/5): Travellers - Great setting beautiful location Marcus who showed us around on arrival was great ll
- Ann (10/5): - Lovely 3 nights glamping, very comfortable bed, clean & great amenities.
Would definitely come back & try one of the cottages another time The walk to the amenities, only a couple of minutes but not nice at 2am
- Edwina (10/5): Peaceful. - The simplicity, the view and the location. The gardens are divine and the ducks and chickens are fun.
- Wang (9/5): Good experience for short stay - Good mountain view Lack of public shared facilities
- Sahana (9/5): Great Location, Great Service and a Good Time - Really enjoyed staying at this beautiful location. We were group of 6 friends and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 tents and cabin, along with the communal space. Our hosts Kathryn and Liz were lovely and checked in on us and were very responsive when we had questions.
The tents, cabin and bathrooms were clean, with lots of space and kitchen essentials available.
The larger tent had a clear top which allowed us to look at the sky while lying down, this was amazing.
The location was great, being so close to town but also looking out into the mountains, with all kinds of animals around like chickens, ducks, horses and a little puppy from the neighbour's place who was around for some pats.
Highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be coming back! Not much, one of the toilet doors would get a bit stuck if we closed it all the way and the barbecues were a bit dirty, but these didnt impact our stay too much.
- Samantha (10/5): This is a gorgeous little paradise-beautifully set amount the most amazing green grass and hills. - This is a must see, the tranquility of the hills and the green grass were second to none. The staff were lovely and accommodating from the moment we got there. The glamping tent was surreal-in its own little paradise tucked away. The properties gardens were amazingly kept. It was a wonderful little paradise not too far from home. From hiking to relaxing this is a must. That I had to go home.
- Natalie (10/5): Amazing glamping experience in a beautiful place! - I stayed at Mountain View after a recommendation from a friend and it didn’t disappoint! The tent was amazing, the gardens gorgeous and the view unbeatable! The facilities were clean and central with everything we needed, and still had their historical charm.
Kath was a wonderful host who is super friendly and accommodated all our needs. Our 2 doggos loved it there as well. I’ll definitely be back! Nothing
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - A stunning garden setting. The natural beauty of the location was pure magic. I loved that I could have a little bonfire and my glamp tent was very comfortable.
Thank you Katherine. Beautiful
- Bing (10/5): Friendly hostess, spacious room for kitchen, living area and bathrooms. Very enjoyable stay for a peaceful holiday. -
- Annabelle (8/5): Very good -
- Ren (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): An interesting and recommended stay - Really friendly and helpful hosts
So green and lovely
Beautiful garden setting
Great location and proximity to Tilba Central
Privacy
History
Tent surprisingly comfortable
Proximity to Narooma and Bernagui Distance to toilet, shower especially at night and if raining
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nona (7/5): Cool experience - Views, secluded Hot in the tent and flies outside
- Astrid (8/5): Really enjoyed it apart from small things - The rolling hills, the special touches in the tent, the lovely grass around the tent. The tents were quite far away from the facilities. The dogs were loose on arrival. The facilities are very rusitc and a bit tired, though the shower block was great.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location with great amenities and friendly hospitality.
- Billee (7/5): Relaxing - Linda showed us around
Location was stunning
Lots of Amenities The flies were very bad- perhaps stating they are bad so next time people could bring fly nets. If not maybe could provide.
- Jodi (10/5): Cute and quirky, but seriously overpriced and disappointing. One bathroom for all guests to share 100mtrs from where you - Great views, perfect little getaway spot.
Quirky accomodation outside the norm. Van only has a usb plug for phone charging. Has electrical lights fitted but no PowerPoint to run a kettle. Takes 15 mins to boil a kettle outside. No way to cook a meal other than this small gas cooktop that had no gas. Had to go find some in a storage cupboard about 100mtrs away. This was very disappointing as we bought food with us to cook and ended up at a pub in the next village.
Had to call to get directions as no communication from owners about how to find the place or get into accomodation.
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional - It's a pretty good space that they got there and the staff were amazing. I really recommend it. Everything was good
- Bhandari (7/5): Good - The morning was great with the view . The access to get to the property and lights.
- Ella (7/5): Beautiful location, friendly staff - Beautiful Location, very friendly staff. Difficult to locate the caravan in the dark with no lighting on pathways. Was freezing cold and there was no heating. I feel like this should have been advertised considering the location. Hot water bottles were provided, but still it was uncomfortably cold and only half the windows had curtains on them.
No bathroom inside the caravan. The listing said the unit had a bathroom and shower. I think it should be clearer in the description that facilities are shared and not particularly close in proximity to the caravan.
Also not a single power point in the caravan. Another thing that should definitely be clearly mentioned in description. Just a 12V plug, had I known I could have been better prepared.
Overall was a little disappointing. Definitely expected more for the price, especially in the middle of winter.
In summer it would be a completely different story.
