Guest Reviews
- Mkhwanazi (1/5): Bad -
- Faith (1/5): Bad - First the property cancelled my reservation 3 hours before check-in saying there was a renovation and as I speak they haven't refunded me my money. I went to the property that same day and I didn't see any renovation going on in that property. The phone number that was put there I called it severely and they didn't respond, the line was not even ringing.I have written several messages with no reply. Please send me my 160 euro
- Kelvin (1/5): Bad - I came to the said property and there was no staff no direction to enter the room I was left stranded took my money without responding to my messages and calls this was a day time scam on booking. Com Taking my money without giving me a place to sleep theft of the first order.
- Harry (1/5): Refund me. - Nothing it’s disgusting, no door handle Was dirty and unsafe for my girlfriend.
- Adrian (10/5): Great - A Perfect Stay
Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect: the rooms are beautifully designed, exceptionally well-maintained, and very comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to every detail.
The location is ideal, and the facilities exceeded all our expectations. We truly felt at home and will definitely come back. We highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and outstanding service.
Thank you for a 5-star experience!

- Maphosa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gillian (1/5): Bad - It was warm heating was always on and with it being the height of winter No lamp in the room the bed was uncomfortable
- Michael (2/5): Very poor -
- Omaghomi (5/5): Stayhome B&B - Feedom No staff to e plain lapses
- Karyna (1/5): disappointment - Control of order in the house. It is always open (whoever wants to come in). There is an eternal problem with the supply of hot water and heating. Mostly the entire set needs repair. The bathroom is terrible, you are afraid to touch the walls.
You can be woken up by the staff (who sometimes appear there) in the middle of the night and ask some incompatible things.

- G (1/5): I would never go back to this B&B - The bed was comfortable but thats it!
Close by some buses which took us straight to the city center. We didnt get the wi-fi code on our arrival, theres No towels,as it shows on the picture, neither bed side cabinet. No hot water either in 4 days i could only shower 1ce and even then it was too hot!
- Leonia (1/5): Bad -
- Constance (2/5): Very poor - Nothing I liked about the place Bed was.very old uncomfortable, the place just needs proper renovation. Doors not closing very well.no staff to attend to clients
- Nicolas (3/5): It's just a place to sleep, don't expect anything more. - There is a bed, a plug and a shelf. That's it. The bed was okay. No hot water, or maybe 10sec each 5min. No place to put your stuff outside the closet. No wifi.
I never saw the host. I only got a message telling me to enter and look for my room.
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Marvellous (5/5): Passable - It's ok Quietness
- Liam (8/5): Great Stay would recommend - The lighting was great TV never worked
- Michael (2/5): Very poor -
- Sagar (6/5): Pleasant - The location was peaceful and Calm The geyser/boiler was not at all working. We have to take a bath with cold chilled water. This was definitely not acceptable
- Marc (6/5): Dingy & overpriced, poor value (only good if you're stuck & desperate) - It was at least quiet. And we appreciated the shared kitchen (the shared bathroom?...not so much). No one there to let us in. We eventually discovered our room upstairs was unlocked, with the key in the door. But it's a little frustrating when you're trying to check in and get settled, when there's no communication about where to go.
The room itself was small and dingy (the blinds on the window were broken, many of the slats bent every which way).
- Maddalen (1/5): Bad -
- Edward (5/5): Passable - The location Unavailable staff when needed. Toilet water and bathroom were not flowing, and the bathroom only came cold water. Very frustrating though manageable.
- Susanna (1/5): very poor experience. - Kitchen is okay No staff in there. Only another guest allowed us to enter. The room carpet is dirty
l booked a double bed room with wardrobe, but there is not a double bedroom and no wardrobe in the room. No sign for mind your head. We bumped our heads several times.
No instruction about hot water for bathing.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Change towels daily Not watching tv
- Kambura (3/5): Poor -
- Lewis (1/5): Wasn’t the best arrangement. - At least room was swapped. 10 am to leave room is crazy on a weekend.
- Мирошник (1/5): Give my money back,my father sleep at street from 2august until 3 ,give my money back, room was closed - Give my money back,my father sleep at street from 2august until 3 ,give my money back, room was closed Give my money back,my father sleep at street from 2august until 3 ,give my money back, room was closed
- Khayelihle (1/5): Bad -
- Oye (6/5): That bed is out of it - Kitchen Bed is too noisy
- Ajith (1/5): Very Bad and Poor - Area is nice 1. The main door keys was not there at the arrival time even I already given the time of arrival earlier.
2. The phn number given has no proper reply if we called in emergency.
3. There was less toilet tissue and no reply when I inform the person.
4. Bad smell in the entrance of the house when entering.
5. There is no free wifi available.
6. The staff attitude was very poor.
Overall the worst B&B experience in Ireland. I am not recommending this to anyone. Please do check the reviews and book.
- Oleh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donal (4/5): Comparatively cheap but don't expect much and bring some food with you for breakfast, just in case - The young lady who answered the door offered to help carry a bag up to my room which was very helpful. The bathroom (near my room) was ok. Clean and functional toilet, shower and sink but no hand towel. Convenient location and not too expensive but still overpriced because of the 'negatives'. The main positive thing I can say is about the young lady who lived there who helped me by carrying my bag. Sorry but I won't be staying here again. The kitchen had almost no food in it! I ended up having a cup of black tea and an apple for breakfast. Huge disappointment. No-one around to help me find some grub. Left the place hungry. My room on the top floor was very basic - just 2 single beds in it! There was a narrow stairs to get to it. The wi-fi password didn't work so I had no access to the internet. I wasn't expecting much before I arrived but it was worse than I expected it to be.
- Fejzo (1/5): Bad -
- Clement (8/5): Very good -
- Mahuueva (10/5): Exceptional - It nice place The property
- Sweeney (1/5): Overall poor - “Very dirty outside the inside isn’t much better. No headboards on the bed, given two small old towels per room. The house needs maintenance everywhere. No toilet paper provided. No TV in any of the rooms or the communal area’s. It states that it is the Stayhome B&B (bed and breakfast) I didn’t seem to find any breakfast on my stay. No curtains on the windows only broken shutter blinds .Flooring is lifting and broken in the rooms, carpet is cut and ragged in many parts. My feel for the stayhome B&B is that you’re better off staying at home.”
- Zine (3/5): Poor - Area
- Michael (3/5): Poor - Clean accommodation. Decent kitchen. Friendly staff. For the first two nights I didn't have my own key to the main door of the property.
My first room did not provide me with a towel.
The hot water seemed faulty on two of the mornings and I had to have a cold shower.
- Long (1/5): Won't refund me - I Did not go as I couldn't contact landlord I could not contact landlord and address was different then I was originally informed on site so I paid and I didn't feel safe going here cos of all above now I'm trying to get refunded
- Chinnu (1/5): Bad -
- Nokulunga (1/5): Bad -
- Edward (8/5): My stay was awesome with microwave to heat personal foods and fridges to store our stuffs. - Location not bad at all though there was no breakfast as was written. Though there were some renovations ongoing, everything was in order. What to improve were the towels used at the rooms. The sizes must be bigger to cover the waist of customers and also check rooms for dust before customer moves in, other than that all were good.
- John (1/5): Bad - I use booking.com most of the time and normally never see anything like this place. I've nothing good to say I'm afraid. We were attending my uncle's funeral at short notice and as this was very local thought give it a try so booked 2 nights. Because it came up as new to booking.com there wasn't any previous reviews so that was why I booked it. As it was that bad left first thing in the morning and didn't go back for 2nd night. We were given 2 bedrooms with a shared bath instead of an ensuite as booked. Not given door keys instead were promised them for next day as were being cut .Just one towel for each room offered to us had to ask for more. Rooms both smelt very musty. The whole place needs decorating and the carpet was poor as well. The duvet cover wasn't fresh and only one pillow each available. The lights on the landing weren't working. The bathroom was very poor. Bath had an overflow pipe from the water tank next door feeding into it. No plug in sink. Wiring all exposed under the sink. Riser rail on shower didn't work so I couldn't have the shower head higher. No facilities in the room such as kettle etc. Really was the worst place stayed. Emailed the owner about all of this and still waiting for a reply.
