• alain (7/5): excellent à un détail près... - instructions de la part de l'hôte très claires mise a disposition d'un salon et d'une cuisine équipée pas de chauffage. les instructions indiquaient que c’était un chauffage centralisé et qu'il était inutile de régler les radiateurs... mais le chauffage était manifestement coupé, tous les radiateurs (Sale de bain comprise) étaient froids

• Indu (7/5): Great value for money - The location was excellent for Excel; maintained very clean and great communication from the host The host’s working hours being variable sometimes affected the noise level disturbing sleep (only because the guest room was directly below the host’s.) Probably not much can be done about this issue I guess. I have to state in his defence that the host’s politeness and courtesy was next to none
• Luka (7/5): Pleasant - Friendly owner, spacious room. Convenient location for Excel London, 10min walk away. Could've used a table or some other furniture in the room itself, I had to keep most of my stuff on the floor during my stay. The floor is pretty squeaky, so when the owner (who sleeps above the room) got up early for work or to get water, I got woken up very easily.
• Ali (8/5): - Very clean house and facilities. Very polite host with great communication. . It is a converted front room that is a bedroom within a residential house. Rather than an annexe flat type setup that i was (wrongly) expecting. Cant fault the host though..very hospitable.

• Kim (8/5): Amazing VFM location & host - Clement was an exceptional young male host who let me use all of the downstairs facilities (which were extremely well equipped) without any interruption as he unobtrusively remained upstairs working his international shifts. The pre-arrival communications were received in good time and the instructions for self check-in were clear and comprehensive. There was access to WiFi, a large lounge & Tv, and a fully functioning kitchen with breakfast bar for anyone who wanted to save money by eating in. I was at a conference at the Excel for two full days and the location of the house couldn’t have been more perfect as the centre was literally a few minutes walk down the connecting main road. Transport links were also excellent with the Number 147 and 300 literally stopping at the end of his street and the Elizabeth line connecting me readily to Paddington and as far as Reading and Maidenhead! It wasn’t a problem for me as I used to be a continence adviser so despite being in my 60s still don’t need to get up at night but I can imagine for some a trek to the shared bathroom on the first floor could prove inconvenient. I have suggested a couple of other improvements to the host which I believe he has in hand.
• Mikael (4/5): Decent for the price if you're ready that it is a SHARED LIVING. - The host was very kind and helpful. It isn't too far from the inner city. The equipment in the apartment was relatively new. It should be more clear in the text that it is a SHARED LIVING, as i've read other properties being pretty clear that it is a SHARED LIVING. Even the main introduction to the property has "private Home", which in my opinion, is very misleading. The corners of the rooms were not too well maintained and had some minor dirt and damages. The door handle to the room downstairs was falling apart.
• Rosangela (6/5): Basic, nice bathroom, close to Excel London - Short walk to Excel London if you are attending a convention. Room was freezing cold upon arrival. Heating turned on after host contacted next morning (arrived very late and he had said he would not be home at the time). Did not meet host face to face once in my 2 nights stay, though he clearly lives there and had his sleeping room above mine. That felt quite weird, to hear the sounds of someone in the evenings & mornings and not getting a "hello".

• Kerry (10/5): Perfect stay for London ExCel - Fantastic location for the London ExCel, London City Airport and DLR into London. Lovely house, very clean and welcoming and had everything I needed for my stay. The host is great too, had a quick chat with him in the passing to thank him for the room. To feel safe and comfortable as a solo female traveller is really important and he made me feel just that. Will definitely stay again if I’m back down. Nothing, it was great

• Kevin (10/5): Great little find walking distance to ExCel London. - The location is excellent for attending ExCeL London. The information re checking in was clear and easily understood. The owner was not in when I entered the property, but he arrived home soon after. The room is spacious and furnished in a basic style with a king-size bed, wardrobe, and bedside cabinet with a lamp. The accommodation is spotless throughout, and I feel able to relax and cook a meal for myself. The owner was very discrete and kept to himself, and although we did chat a little, he was not intrusive. The lounge has a large TV and comfortable sofa, although I didn't use it myself. The bathroom is up the stairs, and it's a large walk-in shower with rainfall head with a small one on a hose. Very clean with all amenities required. Unfortunately, I think it must have been the coldest day that first night. I was very cold, and I was going to mention it to see if the heating would be on the next night. I was pleased to find that it was on my return and the second night was much more cosy.
