All the necessities were close and we never felt the walk to the station to be too long. Washer and dryer on the ground floor was a bonus, although hard to dry. A lot of space for Tokyo. Mattresses were very hard. No kitchen towels for drying the kitchenware.

• Py (8/5): Adresse pratique pour visiter Tokyo - L'appartement est spacieux et bien placé pour visiter Tokyo. L'absence totale d'accueil n'est pas très agréable. Les photos ne correspondent pas du tout : on était dans un appartement moderne alors que les photos montraient un appartement traditionnel. L'équipement de la cuisine est vraiment juste, il manque des éléments de vaisselle (par exemple, il n'y avait qu'une seule tasse à café).

• Brian (4/5): Disappointing, would not stay again - The location is good to experience a genuine Tokyo neighbourhood. The apartment is spacious by Japanese standards... one large room with a bed, sofa and coffee table and a kitchen area with a stovetop, sink and microwave. There is a large deck. The air conditioning is excellent in the heat. It was 30C for the three nights I was there. It is quiet. The bathroom is musty, the shower curtain is dirty and mouldy and needs replacing, the hand soap ran out in a day, there is one small towel rack in an awkward spot. There is a kettle but no cups. The kitchenware is lacking and not enough for a two-place setting. The large deck would be a nice place to sit in the evening but there are no chairs. There is no drying rack. There is only one small mirror in the bathroom. The bins are confusing and the lid on one didn't shut. The mattress is hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. There are only two usable plugs. There is no bedside table. It's a long walk to Ueno train station.
• Casper (9/5): Spacious and modern room in quiet Uneo. - Nice and spacious room. A rare thing in Tokyo I believe. Modern and clean. In a quiet part of Uneo. 20 min walk to Uneo Station. 10 min walk to the nearest metro station. It is a staffless hotel, so you are on your own. It has single layer windows so you can hear noises from the street. But since it is a residential neighborhood the noise is minimal.

• Eng Haow (8/5): Great location and good place as a base station for your travels in Tokyo - Great location in Ueno - Halfway between Ueno and Asakusa - Great view of Tokyo Tower. Lots of food options. Supermarket (AEON) just round the corner as well as other supermarkets nearby. Lift accessible up to the 4th floor. Shared laundry facilities (2 washing machines). Walking distance to Kappabashi Street and Asakusa. Near Ueno station so connected to easily to all Tokyo areas via Yamanote line. 1. Cleaning of the room is only at request. 2. Only some toileteries are provided. 3. Full sized fridge but no drinking bottled water provided.

L’équipement était par contre réduit pour 4 personnes (3 verres, 2 cuillères…) limitant les repas sur place (cf. Il s’agit ici d’un hébergement de type AirBnb et non d’un hôtel). Les futons mis à disposition sont vraiment limites et semblent de faible qualité en comparaison de futons mis à disposition dans d’autres établissements.

• Yannick (7/5): - L'hébergement est spacieux dans le style japonais, très agréable. L'emplacement est central et proche des transports et de toutes les commodités nécessaires. L'échange avec le personnel est fluide, et ils sont très réactifs. Nous avons trouvé l'appartement peu fonctionnel, comme un hébergement témoin. Pas de porte serviette, nous avons du les accrocher dans l'entrée. Il manque une poubelle dans la salle de bain, et les joints sont noircis. Les futons étaient très fin, nous en avons testés plusieurs durant notre séjour et malheureusement ceux-ci n'étaient vraiment pas confortable. Heureusement qu'ils nous ont fourni d'autres futons et couettes afin de les superposer et gagner en confort.

• Katie (8/5): Well equipped nice rooms in peaceful Ueno - Easy check-in process, very comfortable bed and spacious room with small table and sofa as well. It, had everything we needed (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer etc) plus a fridge, kettle and microwave and a few plates/bowls/cups/cutlery which was handy for any konbini snacks we bought. It's a 15 minute walk to Ueno Park, and to Senso-Ji, and in a lovely calm neighbourhood. They also let us leave our bags there the morning we left which was very helpful! The only thing was that the walls seemed quite thin and if there was any little noise you could hear it - water tanks re-filling, someone having a shower next door, something outside blowing along the street. But this didn't affect how much we enjoyed our stay, overall it was great!

Consiglio se si vuole girare bene Tokyo. Personalmente non farei troppi giorni, se non si è abituati, nella stanza con tatami, perchè poi si rischia di aver dolori alla schiena. Per il resto forse farei una maggiore attenzione alla pulizia, ma non era un grande problema, ci vorrebbe solo una maggior precisione.

The room is abit smaller than expected but still ok for 4 of us. The futon is abit thin . Aeon supermarket, Lawson & Family mart is just round the corner. The futon is abit thin, no hanger in the toilet for towel. If can provide thicker & extra pillows will be great.

• Igal Jada (10/5): This apartment hotel offers smooth self check-in and check-out procedures, tatami rooms, and sizeable quarters. - Stayed here for three nights as a family of four. The self check-in and check-out procedures were easy to follow. The staff were also on-hand in this platform to answer any questions we may have. They can receive luggage delivery via Yamato Transport. Just message them the delivery details. The tatami area is quite spacious and can easily fit four futon. The living room is pretty comfortable. The kitchen facilities include an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, plates, utensils, and glasses (including two double-sided glasses for hot drinks). Toilet and shower are separate. There is a 7-11, Maruetsu (grocery store), and Daiso 10 minutes away on foot. It is located a bit far from train stations (10 minutes from Inaricho Station, 15-20 minutes from Ueno Station).

• Anastasia Cynthia (10/5): Spacious and Comfortable Stay For a Family - The room was very spacious and well organized. It comfortably accommodates up to four people without feeling cramped. There is a cozy living area with a smart TV, as well as a small kitchen equipped with basic cooking essentials. Outside the room, guests can use the free washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property. There were a few areas that could use some improvement. The filter for the room heater and the bathroom exhaust fan seemed to need cleaning. The bathroom sink drain was also slightly clogged. Additionally, the futon felt a bit thin, so we had to stack them to make it more comfortable.

• Laura (8/5): Zona tranquila, habitación espaciosa. - La habitación es espaciosa, está limpia, la cama es cómoda y el baño funcional. Hay secador de pelo, amenities y toallas, que puedes cambiar o reponer en la entrada. Hay lavadora abajo, no la usamos, pero preguntamos a una de las personas que a veces estaban en recepción y nos dijo que podíamos usarla gratis si queríamos. El barrio es residencial, tranquilo y hay sitios pequeños donde comer cerca, una panadería, un supermercado en la esquina. Es un buen lugar para establecerse unos días sobre todo por el espacio de la habitación, algo muy difícil en Tokyo. También por la tranquilidad y el silencio. Buen wifi. Llegar al lugar nos resultó difícil. Google Maps nos llevó a tres sitios distintos antes de encontrar el hotel, y lo hicimos deduciendo el funcionamiento de los bloques y la numeración del barrio, no a través de Maps. Copiar y pegar la dirección en Google Maps no funcionó. Creo que sería útil que desde el hotel te enviaran el enlace directamente de Google Maps en vez de decirte que busques la dirección. También podrían enviar una captura de pantalla indicando el bloque exacto donde está el hotel. La habitación estaba bien, pero por proponer algo por mejorar, sería interesante que añadieran alguna silla o mesa a la terraza para que no estuviera tan vacía e incentivar el uso. También sería interesante que hubiera tazas aptas para calentar en el microondas. Solo había vasos que no se podían meter en el microondas y complicaba un poco calentar la leche. Pero son solo detalles.
