• Melanie (6/5): - Liebevoll Eingerichtet und alles Vorhanden was man so braucht. Die Lage war super. Die Dusche war sauber und es gab warmes Wasser. Die Matratze des Doppelbettes war durchgelegen! Das Sofa hatte eine Schräglage. Nicht ausreichend Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Die Tür quitschte, war verzogen und der Schlüssel ist abgebrochen.
• Susan (8/5): Tolle Lage, leider nachts etwas zu laut, doch gerne wieder! - Die Lage war sehr praktisch, nettes Viertel , nahe an underground Leider nachts sehr laut, da die Fenster alt sind und keinen Schallschutz bieten.

• Lucia (10/5): Wir kommen gerne & sicher wieder ❤️ - Mitten drin und doch ruhig. Größer als andere Unterkünfte in London. Super bequeme Betten, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Küche gut ausgestattet. Nette, schnelle und zuverlässige Ansprechpartner. Dusche: Wasser entweder sehr heiß oder sehr kalt im Wechsel, Wasserstrahl gering Nachtspeicherofen und Heizung kompliziert in der Anwendung. Genauere Benutzung Hinweise vom Letzteren wären Vorort sehr hilfreich.

• Wiebke (10/5): - Sehr schöne und gemütliche Wohnung in toller Lage. Die Ausstattung war für uns perfekt, inklusive der gut eingerichteten Küche. Wir waren Weihnachten dort und wurden sogar mit einem Weihnachtsbaum und -schmuck überrascht. In der Wohnung gibt es eine hilfreiche Broschüre mit Gebrauchsanweisungen und tollen London Tipps. Ed war außerdem jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Wir konnten unsere Stadterkundungen direkt zu Fuß starten oder mit der sehr nahe gelegenen U-Bahn. Ein kleiner Supermarkt liegt auf dem Weg von der U-Bahn Station, unzählige Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit zur Mülltrennung und der Wasserdruck ist recht niedrig, was aber nicht an der Wohnung, sondern am gesamten Gebäudekomplex liegt.

• Sian (10/5): Comfy, spacious, stylish & great location. - Stylish, comfortable and great location. The flat is well organised and real thought has gone into what is available within it. It felt roomy and welcoming. Kitchen has everything you need and bathroom has been recently renovated. Nothing!

• Kristin (9/5): Toller einwöchiger Aufenthalt in super Lage mit bequemen Betten und freundlichen Gastgebern. - Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen einwöchigen Aufenthalt in London und der Unterkunft von Mags & Ed! Lage: Die Lage des Apartments ist natürlich erste Klasse. Man hat gleich drei Underground Stationen in direkter Nähe und somit mehrere U-Bahn Linien abgedeckt (Aldgate, Aldgate-East & Liverpool-Station). Ein Highlight ist der Brick Lane Market direkt vor der Haustür am Sonntag. Ansonsten gibt es in der Straße die Woche über einzelne Streetfood Stände. In direkter Nähe befindet sich der Spitalfields Market und weitere tolle Restaurants. Wer also viel Wert auf einen tollen Standort legt, ist hier genau richtig! Zugang zum Haus: Der Check-In war dank genauer Anweisungen sehr einfach. Neben einem Code zur ersten Tür, welcher einem rechtzeitig bekannt gegeben wird, gibt es für die eigentliche Eingangstür des Apartments einen Schlüssel, welcher durch eine Schlüsselbox bereitgestellt wird. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt; hier braucht man sich keine Sorgen machen :) Das Apartment: Das Apartment war mit allem ausgestattet was für einen kurzen, oder auch längeren Aufenthalt benötigt wird. Für alle Geräte gibt es eine ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung und sollte etwas nicht funktionieren, sind die Gastgeber sehr schnell erreichbar :) Wir fanden die Betten sehr bequem und die Decken waren auch für die kälteren Tage warm genug! Mit den zusätzlichen Heizkörpern in den Zimmern und im Wohnzimmer konnte man auf jeden Fall die Wohnung aufwärmen und muss sich keine Sorgen um die Herbst-/Winterkälte machen. Lediglich das Bad und die Küchen waren ziemlich kalt, da es hier keine Heizkörper gibt. Der TV hatte "nur" eine Smart-Tv Funktion, aber es gab genug Apps, um Serien zu schauen. Kleiner Tipp für Leute die gerne Abends auf der Couch verbringen: Bringt euren Tv-Stick mit! :) Die Wohnung war etwas hellhörig, was jedoch nach Londoner "Altbau manier" zu erwarten war und womit man auch allgemein rechnen sollte. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Die Zimmertüren ließen sich nicht richtig schließen, außer man hat sie per Schlüsse oder von Innen richtig verschlossen. Das war dann doch etwas nervig, aber nicht wirklich schlimm. Die Wohnung war sauber, jedoch etwas staubig und es gab einige Staubmäuse, die uns entgegenkamen. Ich denke das lag daran, dass der Staubsauger nicht unter die Betten und das Sofa kommt. Ist nichts dramatisches, aber hierauf sollte man in Zukunft vielleicht achten :)
• Susan (8/5): Agréable - Les informations pour les clés et les instructions étaient claires. Apprécié le fait que l'appartement était proche du métro. Joli aménagement, lits confortables (un peu mou selon mon conjoint, mais ok pour moi). Le contact avec Ed était très facile. Nous avons constaté un petit dommage et Ed a rapidement fixé le problème. Comme le bâtiment a un certain âge, les fenêtres sont mal isolées (je crois qu'il n'est pas possible de les changer sauf si toute la façade l'est). Donc, prévoir des boules quiès pour les sommeils sensibles. Etant venus en octobre, la température commence à descendre, il aurait fallu chauffer un peu l'appartement avant notre arrivée.

• George (8/5): We had a great stay, perfect location and sized apartment for 3 people. - The location is excellent- close to Liverpool St the Elizabeth Line, plenty of shops, cafes and bars and Spittlefields market. Central London is so close. Beds and duvets were super comfy and it is well decorated and super clean. Great to have 2 bedrooms. The number of steps to get up from the street to the courtyard then steps up and down to the apartment are awkward with luggage.

• Eric (10/5): It is the perfect place for 4 people. Either 2 couples or 1 couple and two single people. Will totally go again if I am - It was amazing. And there was everything that you needed. Nothing. It was really nice. Everything was excellent

• Camille (9/5): Lovely flat - Lovely flat, great location. Very well equipped, clean and decorated with taste. The host was fantastic at communicating and we had all the info we could have needed. We were even welcomed by a lovely biscuits hamper! Highly recommended! It gets a little noisy as the windows are poorly insulated (there are gaps, particularly in the twin bedroom, and it's single glazing), so you can hear people walking and talking in the street. It's a relatively quiet area, despite the nearby pubs and restaurants, but if you need silence to sleep, better have earplugs!

• Catherine (9/5): Great apartment close to tube - Very clean modern and with good equipment, particularly liked having Netflix and the kitchen was well equipped. The noise from outside was quite bad due to the windows not having good soundproofing which did affect our sleep. The sofa in the lounge was not comfortable to sit on it felt very hard.

The overall feel of the appartment - except for the bathroom - is a bit shoddy. No dishwasher or coffee machine. No live-TV which was inconvenient during the olympics. Double bed is 140cm while there is ample space for a wider one…
