• Hasety (9/5): Schoon hotel met vriendelijke mensen en een goede locatie in Barcelona. - De mensen waren heel aardig en behulpzaam. De locatie was mooi en makkelijk bereikbaar. Alles was schoon en netjes. De lift voelde een beetje eng, daarom heb ik steeds de trap gebruikt. Het waren wel veel trappen naar boven.

• Hannah (7/5): Goed, - De locatie was heel fijn dicht bij alles Het heet water deed soms lang om warm te worden, en als je binnen komt moet je eerst met de trap dan de lift. Met een zware koffer is dit lastig

• Sandra (7/5): In the heart of the Gothic quarter - Mo Gothic is centrally located, the staff were kind and the room was quiet and comfortable. It was very convenient to also have a room right beside the bathroom. The facilities were very clean. Just a further note: ,y visit was in the low season, so it was quieter than it would be in high season. The bed sinks in the middle and needs to be replaced. There is an air conditioner and bucket awkwardly placed in an already small room. The price point is very high for what you get. I stayed at a competitor hotel in the Gothic Quarter at the end of my trip to Catalunya; it was cheaper, and had more amenities and a comfortable bed. You could stay in a hostel with more amenities for half the price but you sacrifice privacy. Or you could stay in a more expensive hotel, but the next notch up is significantly higher.
• De Vito (8/5): Posizione per me eccellente - Personale molto cordiale, la posizione è eccezionale a pochi passi dalla rambla, dalla cattedrale e dal barrio gotico, ci si sposta facilmente in metro. La camera era pulita, asciugamani ogni giorno sempre puliti e cambiati e sempre con il letto rifatto. C’è la macchinetta del caffe e acqua gratis. Ma forse un po’ troppo alto il prezzo, anche se si paga più l’ubicazione che la struttura, poichè è molto semplice, dipende sempre quello che si vuole cercare in un hotel

• Anastasiia (6/5): - The hotel had a great location, as it was relatively close to the city centre, and the staff were very friendly — these were probably the only two positives of our stay. Unfortunately, there were many downsides. It was extremely noisy at night. The bathroom was very old, with tiles coming off in some places (unfortunately, I didn’t take photos). Sleeping at night was almost impossible. On one of the nights, neighbours — it was unclear from which side, as the walls felt like cardboard — were having a party. The following night, someone on the floor above started arguing loudly in the middle of the night. On the third night, it was a complete disaster: a group of girls came back around 1 a.m., started drinking and playing music. When things finally seemed to quiet down and I tried to fall back asleep after being woken by the noise, one of them went to take a shower and started blow-drying her hair at 2 a.m. Was there any reaction from the staff? No. Was this within their responsibility? I’m not sure, but we barely spent time in the room — we mostly came back just to change or sleep. Unfortunately, getting a proper night’s sleep there was impossible. The bed linen did not look very clean and had some yellow stains. The bathroom was extremely outdated, and the shower door was positioned in such a way that whenever you opened it, water would pour directly onto the floor, creating a real slipping hazard. Overall, our impression of this hotel was not pleasant. The only good thing about it was the location. In my opinion, the price they charge is not justified, and I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

• Samuel (8/5): - Die Unterkunft erfüllt ihren Zweck, der Empfang freundlich. Die WC Anlagen sind sauber und es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee. Es roch etwas nach Farbe und das Zimmer hatte den Charme einer Notschlafstelle. Es ist, wie alles in Barcelona, einfach frech teuer, auch wenn es im Vergleich im unteren Preissegment zu finden ist.

• Selin (6/5): Good amenties, clean, but also very uncomfortable due to numerous noise issues. Too expensive. - The place was indredibly clean and it was a comfortable experience for the most part. I appriciated the coffee and small treats and overall ammenities. The walls are made of paper. The room needed air but if I were to open the window I would have no peace, so that caused for an uncomfortable experience to say the least. I could hear the elavator (especially at late hours of the night this was horrible), the water flowing through the pipes, and worst of all loud construction noises starting very early in the morning. This was not a cheap accomodation, thus my standards for comfort are high, this place did not provide that comfort.

• ikram (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay staff was super nice, they got shampoo and gel shower if you’re a back packer you won’t needany - I loved my stay at this hotel, The girl in the reception is super nice sorry I forgot her name. The place is supper CLEAN and it smells so nice, I forgot to ask about the perfume whenever I entered the hotel it’s smelled so clean. I recommend this hotel, and I would definitely go back. I read some comments about people complaining about the noise from outside saying that you can hear everything from outside in your room, I agree the rooms are jot sound proof, but I think it depends on the season when it’s summer people are still outside in the streets that’s why you can hear noise, in my case I was there on the 31st January the noise wasn’t that bad, I managed to sleep.

• Folina (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - My single private room had what I needed, with a space for storing and hanging my belongings, a comfortable bed with bedside light. A desk and chair, and a very good shower and toilet. The location was excellent, being among shops and historic buildings. Free coffee etc. and complimentary muffins were available each day which I really appreciated. Very helpful staff. Not a lot of soundproofing between rooms. Location isn’t on a usual two-way road (i.e. it’s mainly a pedestrian street) so vehicle access can be unreliable. Ubers won’t do pick ups from there.

• Javiera Andrea (8/5): Igual a las fotografías - Las piezas son tal cual a las fotografías. Es muy cómodo y todo es nuevo. La ubicación es perfecta, en el centro del barrio Gótico. Si te animas, incluso puedes caminar a la Sagrada Familia y hasta la playa de la Barceloneta Como nuestra habitación estaba justo debajo de la escalera, se escuchaba todo el ruido de la entrada. Por favor, sean huéspedes considerados con el resto si llegan a altas horas de la madrugada

• Paťavová (5/5): - Lokalita je perfektní. Okna jsme měli do vnitrobloku, takže nebyl slyšet hluk z ulice. Obsluha byla milá, vždy se usmívala. Městskou daň jsme platili 8€ na osobu i když na bookingu bylo 6€. Hluk z ostatních pokojů, jelikož jsou zdi jako z papíru a je všechno slyšet. Pokoj byl relativně čistý, ale koupelna byla horší. Starý sprchový kout, který nejde pořádně otevřít a i hubený člověk má problém se do něj dostat. Plíseň a odkupující se omítka na stěnách.

The bathrooms are shared and that part is also not clearly mentioned while booking. That came as a surprise after the booking was made. This can be made clear while booking the room.

• Stéphane (1/5): Hôtel à fuir (500 € pour 4 nuits : scandaleux) - Le seul point positif est que l'hôtel est dans la quartier Gothic et à proximité des bus et métro Salle de bain : de la moisissure murs et plafond, pas de verre à dent, un espace de 35 cm pour rentrer dans la douche, rien pour poser ses affaires de toilette, isolation fenêtre inexistante, Isolation des murs inexistante : on était à coté des douches avec du bruit toute la nuit

A clean bed, good location, safe and welcoming. - Comfort bed, lovely staff, the best location , safe entrances, The odd smell that came in waves from the water/drains, it’s a location thing so nothing the hotel can do. Due to the fabulous location there was noise from passers by, but we were all there to experience the city and everyone should have a good time so it’s expected
• Scott (8/5): Happy with the service. - The first night I stayed in the room with a single bed. The bed was alright but still slept well. The room and shared bathroom were clean. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The second night the door handle from inside the room was starting to break. Almost stuck in the room but I gave the staff person a call and they immediately ran upstairs to check it out. They end up transferring to the main floor with the room with double size at no extra cost. The room was beside the office. Nice that they had a coffee machine to use. The sound proofing was not the greatest but it was still quiet enough at night. The room with the double bed had two doors facing outside to stand on the balcony. The windows on those doors are super old so they were not the greatest for sound proofing. I would be scared to stay in that room in the middle of Barcelona Summer heat. I could see that room becoming a hot blazing sauna in the summer. Other than that I enjoyed my stay at The MO GOTIC. Thank you again
