Jenni (1/5): Horrible - This was the worst experience I’ve had with Booking. We checked into the apartment at 3pm only to find it completely dirty and not cleaned from the previous guests. Please refer to the photos. They gave the times for check-in and 3pm was an option so they knew ahead of time that we were coming at that time. When we told them we had arrived, they said someone was inside cleaning it still but we could leave our luggage inside. So we got the keys from the lockbox and went inside only to find that there was no one there cleaning. I then had to message them to let them know. They seemed confused and quickly coordinated getting a cleaner there. We had to put our luggage down and leave the apartment for hours so they could clean. This was not what we were expecting after a long trip. Because of the hassle and inconvenience, they said they would give us a refund. Not for the whole trip but just for the first day. It has been a week and still no refund. I have reached out to them with no luck even though I have the messages where they say they would be giving us a refund for the trouble of the apartment not being ready when we checked in. Not an experience I was expecting and I’m extremely disappointed.
