Guest Reviews
- Olivera (5/5): Achtung!
- Chiara (7/5): Overall, a great apartment with very responsive hosts — just keep the location, check-in and distance to the centre in m - We were very happy with our stay overall. The apartment is lovely and communication was excellent — whenever we had a question, we received an immediate reply and the hosts were extremely helpful. Everything was well organised, and they even messaged me on WhatsApp a day before arrival, which I really appreciated. The area is generally fine, but as a woman travelling alone I personally wouldn’t feel completely comfortable there at night. We arrived in the evening and finding the key lockbox was a bit tricky (it was across the street, small, and attached to a fence). The apartment is also quite far from central London — it took us around 50 minutes by public transport each way. The apartment could have been cleaner, although there were plenty of clean towels. One small detail: we expected shower gel, but only shampoo was provided.

- Nicola (7/5): Really good value for London, looks just like photos. Perfect for a group of friends being tourists! - Inside the apartment is just as per the pictures - 3 (smallish) double bed rooms with one bathroom. Only 10 min walk to Clapham Junction which was great as there were tube strikes so we stuck to as much over ground as possible. The price was also very good for London. The location of the key box seemed a bit random and the outside of the building was less than desirable. The heat in the apartment was very hot and the windows were difficult to keep open. As per other comments there was no microwave but we didn't eat in the apartment once so that was not an issue for us. Not a bad thing but one thing to call out (for other potential stayers), I was very nervous when I was asked for the deposit (even though its in the T&Cs) to be paid through a third party link but it wasn't an issue at all. A hold was put on my account for £300 and this was returned to me in less than 24 hours after we left.

- Jennifer (6/5): Pleasant - Overall, the Incredible 3BR Battersea Flat & Spectacular View in London is a solid choice for travelers seeking a spacious and well-located apartment. The property offers a clean, well-stocked three-bedroom flat with a comfortable living room, ideal for groups or families. Its central location, just a 10-12 minute walk to Clapham Junction and within walking distance to food shops and restaurants, makes it convenient for exploring London.
The apartment’s modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen add to the comfort. The inclusion of a washing machine was particularly helpful during my stay. The host was friendly and responsive, enhancing the overall experience.
However, there were some drawbacks. The lack of air conditioning or fans was a significant issue, especially during a heat wave, making the apartment uncomfortably warm at times. Additionally, the internet was unreliable, with spotty connectivity that made it impossible to remote work or stream. These issues slightly detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.
In summary, this Battersea flat is a great option for those prioritizing space, cleanliness, and a central location, but travelers should be prepared for potential heat and WiFi challenges.
- James (8/5): It suited our needs. Host communicated well, check-in instructions very helpful - Good size property. Host communicated well. Has everything we needed. Shane we couldn’t open the windows but we came prepared with a fan!
- Roxanne (8/5): Pleasant & convenient - Location Key safe was too far from property, outside & it was raining

- Antoine (8/5): It was a pleasant stay - Very spacious, clean and modern apartment

- Philip (1/5): We did not stay in the property as we were refused access without disclosing credit card details to an unknown third par - Nothing at all…see attached photos We were asked for a security deposit which concerned me as there was no mention of this in the original agreement via Booking.com and they were requesting credit card details. Entry details were refused until we gave this information. On seeing the outside of the property and the corridors (we gained access via a resident), I refused to release this information as I was concerned that the property was not a genuine let and would not match the advert. Worse still I could be subject to fraudulent claims on my credit card. I refused to provide details, so they would not give access code and we had to book a hotel.
- Olafur (10/5): Great stay for multiple guests in South London. - I would have to say that the apartment was very comfortable, the staff was very attentive, patient and caring. There were fresh flowers in almost every room on our arrival, the internet has been fixed, so good connection and truly a great view over London. Thick carpets, fluffy pillows and cushy beds in the bedrooms. The hosts make sure that anything left by other guests that could be useful to your stay is neatly available to the next guests, like basic food, soaps and shampoo, some Ice Cream and even 2 beers and some Gin. It is a gentrifying neighbourhood, so all kinds of shops and buildings. Easy Access to trains and rental cycles. Bit far from the city center but it just made us see more of the city and close to Battersea Power station with Bus 344. We had to pay a £300 deposit but it was immediately return the same day of our check out. Highly recommended. 5✨ The building is a bit old but you do not feel it in the apartment, freshly renovated. The shower door could be fixed. Otherwise, no complaints.
- Nick (1/5): Business trip and booked for colleagues to stay in London for a business event, very embarrassing - Couldn’t access property. Refund requested Couldn’t get in. Terrible communication
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Host very polite and understanding, as we did a bit of noise with the music. But was great. Recommend. Amazing view as well.
- Elizabeth (1/5): Bad -
- Nikolett (9/5): Affordable and fancy flat :) - Well equiped and comfortable place :)
The public transport is very close and easy to navigate. Only just a strange smell (probably the old building), after airing it was OK.
- Bethan4gin (9/5): Wonderful flat - The apartment was lovely, with spectacular views and comfortable beds. There were lots of lovely little touches, like toiletries to use and crisps to eat. The host was incredibly helpful. The apartment was quite difficult to locate (but I was guided by the host which was great) and was very warm, but the windows don't stay open.
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Þór (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Leonard (10/5): Exceptional - Convenience, neatness, homely feel, ambience.
- Tian (6/5): Pleasant - Owner was accomodating and responsive. Picture of unit is as advertised. Central london is about an hour away via public transport the exterior of the apartment is really tired and dirty.
- Lavinia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Felix (8/5): Very good -
- Yanallah (9/5): Superb - The location and cleanliness of the apartment There is no microwave
- Seán (9/5): Brilliant apartment close to Battersea, Wandsworth. Friendly and helpful host. - Very clean, very comfortable The building is a bit run down (but that’s just London apartment blocks being old) - as soon as you open the apartment door it’s modern and as if you’ve left the building.
- John (7/5): Good value and fairly convenient for central London - Modern, London views Outside appearance
- Mai (7/5): Missing essential items - The flat was light and clean.
The online host tried to be helpful and showed us prompt and cordial answers to our emails and messages. Several essential items were missing (microwave, basket, coffee machine) to make even simple meals. it was rather hot in the flat but it is not practical to wide open the windows due to the curtain which is not easily pulled on one side (blocked and I did not dare to pull too hard, the rope could be broken !).
In the bathroom, in addition to the broken door of the shower, there was no lock to the bathroom door, it was explained that it had been removed because of a previous guest who was an elderly person... I don't understand how come another solution could not be found or the lock put back after the elderly had gone.
Despite the messages we sent to the host to flag the shortcomings and his polite answers and his excuses saying that (all) is was due to the previous guests (I wonder how come that a tenant could take away a kitchen equipment such as a microwave!) that we regret that there has been no further action had been taken by the owner to compensate the shortcomings.
Furthermore, Wi-Fi was extremely weak and slow, seemed even slower in the kitchen/living- room.
- Thobekile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (9/5): Great value for money - Location was great, property was modern and clean.
- Pawalker (9/5): Superb -
- Roald (7/5): Nice and comfortable apartment - We really appreciated the snacks and drinks in the fridge. Coffee and tea were also provided. The apartment is comfortable and clean. There's plenty of clean towels upon arrival as well.
The location is great and there's a great view of the skyline of London from the apartment. Parking is easy and plenty available. There's multiple supermarkets and bars and restaurants in walking distance.
The bathroom is really nice and modern. We enjoyed the complementary soaps and bath oils. The bedrooms are also pretty roomy.
The landlord is very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed working with them. We missed a dishwasher and a microwave in the kitchen, although we don't want to fault the apartment for that as it isn't advertised as having them.
The windows were very dirty, as if they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. We cleaned two windows ourselves to enjoy the view. The windows let in a lot of sun. This wasn't a problem in May, but we can imagine the apartment gets very hot in summer as there's no air-conditioning.
The bedrooms don't get dark, as the shutters are not darkening and let light through. If you're used to a dark bedroom, this can be problematic. Some people in our group found the beds to low.
There's no lock on the bathroom door. The shower is very small, making showering a bit of a hassle.
Finally, the provided WiFi is unsuitable for working. If you rely on a stable and fast internet connection, make sure you bring your own Internet.
