Guest Reviews

- Christine (10/5): - Spacious, cozy, quite, and close to the sking and downtown.
Enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, outside hot tub.
- Simon (9/5): -
- Emilie (8/5): -

- Pavel (8/5): - Quiet setting, nice getaway Breakfast was poor - pricey, but missing essential items like proteins (except hard boiled cold eggs), veggies, fruit etc. Very very limited selection.
On aurait apporté nos patins!
- Middleton (10/5): Mount Sutton Ski weekend - Everything was perfect! Enjoyed the pool, sauna, Finnish tub each night. Cabin was clean and secluded which we enjoyed! Bear mount Sutton and near shops and restaurants in town. IGA about 20 min away for the necessities! Grill outside! We stopped at the butcher and cooked dinners each night! Lovely stay! We will be back! Everything was perfect.
- Carolyn (10/5): It was a great family friendly and relaxing location. We will definitely be back - Everything was so clean and beautiful. Loved the wood paneling, the bunk bed nook for our kids, everything was so light and spacious. The games by the fire place in the common area were a big hit with our crew and it was a nice place to meet other guests too. Nothing

- Julie (9/5): -
- Lasselle (8/5): -
- Luc (7/5): - L’ensemble était très bien Les oreillers étaient inconfortables. Beaucoup trop haut

- Rebeca (10/5): - Easy check in and amazing views Lots of black flies in the room. I’m sure it was a weird situation as the room was sparkling clean
- Rafael (9/5): -
- PATRICIA BANDAK (10/5): - Everything, one of my favorite places to stay.Especially the excellent staff make my stay wonderful.
- Hugo (9/5): -
- Post (10/5): A definite A+ - The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Had hoped for a mini fridge but managed very well without it.

- Rio (9/5): -
- Claire (9/5): -
Chambre confortable. Excellent déjeuner continental de qualité. Rien.
- robert (9/5): I would return again - Generally all was well No fridge or microwave in room.
No vending machines to get a soft drink or bottled water after restaurant is closed
- Marianne (8/5): - Emplacement La tv
- Sylvie (10/5): Endroit vraiment super, personnel exceptionnel!
- Peter (3/5): This place seems to cater to ski holidays. I would not recommend for a summer get away! - While the hotel was clean and the bed comfortable, it did not offer good value for the cost. There was a consistent lack of information—nothing provided in the rooms or posted about pool or restaurant hours, tv guide/operations, housekeeping, or local things to do. With no phone in the room, any question required walking all the way to reception, where staff were often absent or unidentifiable.
We experienced two power outages, one lasting from 4:30 p.m. into the morning, with no backup lighting or plan in place—no guidance on food, safety, or next steps. The room had a strong musty smell, likely due the carpets, and the hotel entry floors were visibly buckled from dampness or poor ventilation.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. Despite leaving a sign to refresh the room, it wasn’t done. After directly speaking to the cleaner the next day, the bed was remade but with the top sheet on top of the duvet. On two occasions, housekeeping staff knocked and immediately opened the door, which felt unsafe—especially for female guests.
- Hillary (10/5): We loved our cozy chalet, and were big fans of the woodstove, sauna and hot tub. Very Charming! - Our chalet was very cozy and had all the perfect amenities. We loved the wood stove and it was beautiful waking up in the wooded area to the snow falling outside. We loved the sauna and Finnish bath too. Nothing - all was great!
- Alyssa (9/5): Superb -
- Arik (10/5): The value for the price is really excellent, and the service at the hotel is very courteous. - The hotel is close to the site, clean, and has a nice restaurant. The jacuzzi and sauna are really excellent. The internet is quite weak and disconnects quite often. The pool water is not warm enough for older adults.
- Richard (9/5): Very pleasant and comfortable with nice views and spa - comfortable room, nice sauna and hot tub, staff very nice. good location near ski mountain A bit awkward getting to the room with bags.
- Shari (10/5): Loved our cozy cabin and very much enjoyed the lodge food and drink. No need to go anywhere else! - We had a lovely rustic cabin that was perfect for our family. The ambiance at the lodge was warm and hospitable, and we were quite happy with the quality of food and drinks. We loved the outdoor sauna in with a view from its setting in the woods and the pool. A fantastic stay!
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Robin (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (9/5): Fantastic! We will be back. - We stayed in a cabin, not the main hotel. The cabins are wonderfully appointed and provide a beautiful blend of privacy in the woods and convenience to the main hotel. Nothing. I liked everything.
- Emmanuel (9/5): Superb - Chalet was great. We brought the couch/bed from upstairs downstairs. I think you can put another small love seat downstairs. It would help when 6 people are staying together. Breakfast was nice but hot section would be nicer. The reception area was warm and welcoming. I especially like the fireplace. Pool, gym, spa, sauna are all very enjoyable amenities. The floor in the reception could be revamped. ie sanding and varnish.
- Liam (8/5): Very good - Coffee at breakfast was very good
great selection at continental breakfast
- Ajami (9/5): Superb -
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Felix (1/5): Bad - Nothing We were not able to get to our room on the second night
- Maryann (9/5): Superb -
- William (7/5): Good -
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (10/5): Very pleasant stay - Very clean, the receptionist very proactive and kind. Very good breakfast - buffet, the chocolatines & croissants were very fresh ( even warm). Nice view from the sauna, we enjoyed the inside pool and the Finnish bath outside. Thank you! Pool. Would be great if the pool were open 1-2 hours more, not just from 9 am to 8 pm, but I assume it's related to stuff availability.
Family room description. Not an issue for us, but the description of the family room shows and says 1 queen ok ) + 2 bunk beds (so, you expect to see 4 single beds, in fact there are only 2 single)
- Karine (8/5): Very good - Nice bedroom and services on site
- Katie (7/5): Facility overall is old - doesn’t have curb appeal - Shower - modern and lots of hot water
Continental Breakfast was very good Room very tight quarters - no space for open suitcase
It is not walking distance to town - over a mile - no sidewalks on a busy road.
- Chantal (5/5): Passable -
- Salar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Astaneh (9/5): Great choice and value! - everything! Good size clean room, zen environment of hotel, beautiful view from restaurant. pool and sauna and jacuzzi that not many people use them was the best! 2min drive to mountain to have access to hike path and other activies was just wonderful. I would have give 10 if the restaurant hours were longer. they only open until 7pm. Also i would have appreciate to have access to pool for longer period. currently they have it open up to 8pm
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Mariow (9/5): Superb - The staff's warmth and friendliness create a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a fantastic stay. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the breakfast spread is simply delicious. Overall, a delightful experience from start to finish! It would be great if the wellness amenities could stay open a bit later in the evening. Being able to unwind after a long day is important, and having access to these facilities in the evening would enhance the overall experience. Whether it's a late swim or a relaxing spa session, extended hours would provide guests with more flexibility to enjoy these amenities at their own pace.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherry (10/5): We had a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. - We stayed in the Chalet and loved the setting and the thoughtful placement of other Chalets with plenty of distance between and alternating facing of entrances, so felt quite private. Well equipped. And the buffet breakfast was ample and nice selections Just the walk to get our bags to the Chalet that was kind of muddy But we did use the blue sleds, which did help
- Franck (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (5/5): Economical choice - Was able to make breakfast in the Chalet. It has a small kitchenette with very basic appliances and supplies. This is good for families. It has a small porch out front which is nice in good weather. Chalets are spaced out nicely so there is some privacy between them. Chalets are very basic. No TV and no wi-fi. No housekeeping in the chalets. Would have preferred one of the proper hotel rooms. Had to empty the garbage myself by bringing it down the road to the dumpster. Need to carry luggage and supplies from car to chalet as parking isn't always that close to your chalet.
- Rebecca (10/5): It was a special time with my family to enjoy a beautiful weekend in a small town near nature! - The location was so convenient, and the cabins so cozy! The sauna was especially nice - and such a good view! The heat was a little hard to get right in the chalet - the first night was too cold and the second was far too hot.
- Weisberger (8/5): Would stay again to access MTB trails. - Great location! We would stay again due to the ski access and being trailside, but it was nicer in the photos than in real life. Hot was nice though! It was confusing to check in (we received no information ahead of time where to go, etc). Pool is only open until 8 pm? We left the facilities cleaner than we arrived.
- Paola (9/5): family in the woods - good family rooms both the hotel room and the chalet were amazing to host a family
- Jack (10/5): Wonderful. We will be back! - Staff, Room, Landscape, Location It would be great if the light and fan were separate switches in bathroom... it is very loud.
- Ngadeu (10/5): Exceptional - Super place! I like it! Magnifique service! Merci beaucoup!
- Mary (9/5): Superb - staff and atmosphere lighting in the room
- Donnelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miller (7/5): Good -
- Kimberly (7/5): Good - Cute cozy cabins, near the mountain. The restaurant was good as well. The cabins aren’t at all soundproof, and the hot tub is really small for the number of people in the hotel. They should have many more options to make this workable for the guests. Also not accessible to the town - you have to drive everywhere.
