• Lisanne Marlou (9/5): Spacious apartment in lively, but quiet neighbourhood - I used the apartment to work from with my colleague. It's super spacious with a big dining and sitting room. We both had our own bedrooms. There are airco's in every room, so your summer stay can also be comfortable. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around for everything you need. It was a little bit away from the city centre, but that's exactly why I booked it. It's close to a big road to catch a taxi, but a relative lively, but quiet neighbourhood to stay in. Walked around as a woman alone there at night and was completely safe. I would definitely stay again!!! The bathroom flooded a little bit. Maybe the draining needs some work. That's nothing that can't be fixed. Would stay here again!

I stayed there for one week and Ramy always responded immediately when I asked for help. The apartment was old and the bathroom was not comfortable for me.

The flat itself was cool, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment throughout my stay. Additionally, the location is perfect—it's close to all the shops, restaurants, and supermarkets, making it very convenient. Plus, it's just a 15-minute drive to Cairo Airport, which is a huge bonus for travelers. I highly recommend this flat and the wonderful landlord to anyone looking for a great place to stay

• Esther (6/5): Does what it needs to. V helpful owner. - This property works for a quick overnight stay for very early morning or late flights. It has everything you need and is v close to the airport. If you’re a seasoned traveller and happy with a clean bed for a fair price this will work for you. Ramy is brilliant! Gives all the information you need and will take you or collect you from the airport. The Radisson blu is really close and gives you a bolt hole for a drink and a chill if you need it. The Neighbourhood feels safe and has what you’ll need, if you know what to expect in Egypt. If this is your first experience travelling to Egypt or other similar countries be prepared for a shock of the senses, it’s noisy, dirty and chaotic. But this is part of the charm. Whilst it was on the surface clean the furnishing and bathroom were dated and could benefit from a really deep clean. The stairwell and lobby area is not inviting, it’s dirty and the lift weirdly and (q amusingly we thought) plays the theme tune to the god father. You definitely won’t get a warm fuzzy feeling when you enter the building! But if you can ignore that it’s ok.

• Barış (10/5): A Pleasant Stay - We booked the apartment just a couple of hours before our arrival but Ramy was ready on such a short notice. He established a good communication and helpful to us. We’ve stayed only for 7 hours before our flight and the apartment and its location is very suitable for short layovers, very close to the airport. But can also be used for longer stays because it was huge and comfortable.

• Lance (3/5): We just couldn't do it - it was close to the airport and situated around a lot of food stores, pharmacy etc. we honestly only lasted 30mins and walked out., It didnt feel clean and the photos definitely made it look nicer than it was. the overall house just looked run down. I would tread with caution if you're thinking about booking this apartment in the future.

The apartment was clean and stocked with some basic necessities and the host was very welcoming and flexible with some time changes that we needed. Overall the apartment was a highlight and a moment of ease for us in the middle of a very lengthy trip.
