Guest Reviews
- Luis (1/5): I encourage booking to delist this property from the App. - Nothing really special. Location was good, but we know that when we make the booking. The property is not maintained at all: cracked window in dinning room, chipped bathtub, broken chairs in the Terrance… nothing of these things are in the photos.
Cold inside the property: we went on Christmas and it was freezing inside, because the windows are old…, property say that they cannot chance them because of the town hall rules…, but they can do things to insulate the property.
Building: Social Housing. Very old and dirty.
Host: very rude and braggart. He thinks that people who rent his (the host in booking is a girl, but she has a guy/boyfriend/husband that is the one in charge) apartment is because they cannot afford anything better and you cannot complain.
- Deividas (7/5): We had a great time in London - Property is in great location, everything is nearby, from public transport to morning cafes, night clubs or bars.
Sheets and towels were clean, and ready for guests.
(There is fake review about bedbugs - definitely not the case).
Super responsive host, will definitely help on any question you might have. Some small things to consider. We got a single towel per person for 3 nights, none of the bathrooms had any additional ones for basic clean up after washing hands, teeth ect. The host said they will definitely consider this for next guests. (Your experience might be different in the future)
Appartment itself looks much better in pictures than real life. Appartment and furniture is pretty beat down, small fix would help a lot.
Couple more things to consider planning a trip, that there was no hairdryer and we had to share single shower, for 8 people it is pretty hard to get ready in the morning quickly. (We knew this when booking the place, no issue there).
Noise isolation is non existent, was not an issue for us. You can definitely hear everything that is happening outside.
- Michael (2/5): Terrible quality for the price tag - - Tesco store near the apartment
- Bus stop very close to the building
- Old Street Station is about a 5-10 minute walk away
- Easy checkin - Very worn-down apartment which is far from the nice-looking pictures on Booking.com (IMO)
- Toilet sink clogged
- Bathroom toilet clogged - unable to use it. Host did not take any action even after various requests - just asked for video documentation instead of sending someone to fix it (which would be the natural thing to do)
- 2 of 3 chairs on balcony broke (the balcony iself was so dirty that no one would like to stay there anyway)
- Floors in kitchen and hallway cracked or very work-down
- The bedroom doors creak
- Lot of trafic noise from the street also during the night including ambulances, police cars etc
Given the price tag for this apartment the quality is terrible (IMO)
- Dennis-huy (5/5): Passable - Our stay at this property in London, booked via Booking.com, was disappointing. We encountered an issue with bedbugs in one of our rooms, which made our stay very uncomfortable and stressful. One of our friend hit bitten during the first night and had to stay at another apartment for the rest of the trip.
Communicating with the owner was ok during the stay. But once we have checked out the communication was a nightmare – they were unresponsive and difficult to deal with, which only added to our frustration.
After much back and forth, they finally agreed to a partial refund, but this did not make up for the poor experience we had. To make matters worse, we were pressured to leave a 5-star review as part of the refund agreement, which feels misleading to future guests. We waived the refund instead to give an honest review.
- Williams (9/5): Superb -
- Erik (10/5): Exceptional - Pretty central apartment for a pretty good price. Host was helpfull and answered all of our questions☺️
- Dutton (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent - had the wrong code for key collection but the hosts were really responsive and everything was perfect once we were in the apartment. There were 2 cracked window panes - one in the lounge and one in the downstairs bedroom
- Danial (7/5): Good -
