• Julie (9/5): A great time in value-for-money accommodation - Warby Motel host, Damo, was a great guy and gave us excellent tips about cycling in the area. The Warby has a locked room for bikes or if you prefer, bike racks. Damo also had extensive knowledge of local trail running and hiking routes. If you like adventure activities – he gets it. Totally recommend a stay at the Warby.

Damo, think the owner was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again, no problems. Maybe the car parking. Well really not the car park, maybe the people staying, how they parked. Had trouble getting into the car now time.

The mini bar was well stocked with beer, wine, cider, and juice, plus there was a torchlight provided. Everything was very well maintained. shower was a downside: small, the curtain dripped, and without a mat you have to step back into the room with wet legs. For a longer stay, this would have been a problem for me.

The room was super clean, comfortable, and had a really nice retro charm that made it feel unique rather than generic. The location is perfect—ideal for getting straight onto the trails without any hassle. After a long day riding, the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made all the difference. We also had a lovely chat with the manager the next morning, which added a really personal touch to the stay. A highlight for us was the outdoor camp kitchen and seating areas—such a great space to relax and unwind. The secure bike storage was also a huge plus and made everything really easy. Would absolutely stay again—perfect setup for a cycling weekend.

There was space outside to spend time together and the kitchen was great. If I’m to be really picky and try to find a complaint, the only one I can come up with is that I needed a high hook to hang a longer dress on.

There was no toaster in the room and the camp kitchen electricity tripped out, so we’re not able to have breakfast

Die Unterkunft ist schön eingerichtet, sauber, gemütlich. Am Haus befinden sich Aussensitzplätze und eine Feuerstelle zum chillen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

He warmed up our room , gave us extra towels and showed us the bike store room. Our room ( nr 8) was upstairs, with ensuite. It was very cosy and renovated . The bathroom was fine , not renovated. The distance to the town if you are not by car is long! We arrived on Monday and a lot of restaurants were closed. Lucky there is a bus service ( twice per hour ) so we used that. Alpine Hotel was open 😊👍

• Loretta (10/5): - Every few weeks my partner & I choose somewhere we'd like to explore & look for accommodation that fits our vibe. Warburton was the stay these past 5 days and boy! are we glad we found The Warby. Immediately pulling in to the hydrangea lined driveway, we knew we'd chosen well and that we were going to have a beautiful relaxing time whilst we explored the surrounding area. Our host, Damien, was/is the nicest, happiest, sincere fella & doesn't get in your face. He offers a cheery g'day in the mornings & makes you feel like everything's going to be just fine. We did explore the area (and loved it) but our room was so comfortable, we were happy just reading with the doors open to the balconies. Everything in the room was immaculately clean, our bed was so comfortable and the offerings in the mini-bar just perfect. The funky decor met our aesthetic & my favourite thing was the pink toilet 🩷 (please don't ever change it) We will be back and we intend to tell anyone who'll listen to come to Warburton and stay at The Warby. Thank you to Damien & the rest of the staff - you're kicking goals & we're here for it! 10/10! 5 massive stars ✨️ The fact our holiday came to an end & we had to return home
