- Sara (5/5): Not what was described - Cheap and good location. It was just a bedroom with en-suite in a basement. No tea/coffee facilities in the room and the door was very flimsy with a lock that could have been pushed in easily.

- Ade (1/5): Property was misrepresented as an ”entire home" No Kitchen, Owner refuse refund, Avoid booking here - This property was advertised as an entire home, which was a key reason for my booking. On arrival, the accommodation was not as described and lacked essential facilities, including a separate/private kitchen.
The property was not fit for the stay booked, so I left immediately and did not stay even one night.
I raised the issue straight away, expecting a reasonable resolution. Instead, the property owner refused to approve a refund, despite the clear misrepresentation.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and forced me to escalate the matter through my credit card provider under UK consumer law.
Future guests should be extremely cautious. If anything goes wrong, do not expect cooperation or fairness from the owner or booking.com. Booking customer service was as bad, they were so incompetent and unhelpful. Booked an “entire home” the property was not as described and not habitable. No kitchen. I did not stay. Owner refused a refund. Would not recommend.

- Mafalda (4/5): - It's close to the train station The place was very dirty. There was a wet towel left in the toilet when I arrived. There's was so much trash in the front of the property as well. The floor was also quite dirty. I booked it thinking this was an apartment but it's only a room with a private bathroom. If you need a kitchen do not book this place because they lied in the advert.

- Bob (1/5): very poor - nothing The place is very run down, everything is dirty, and the blind was broken. The place looks like it's not looked after and not really ever cleaned. Had to get the wifi password off the back of the router which is just on the floor in the hallway. also doesn't really match the photos

- Makwana (1/5): PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Nothing PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. This place is a scam. I arrived with the correct codes for the door and key lockbox for the room but there was someone else in the room who already booked. From 4pm I didn't get a response for hours. And at 5am the next day they asked me to cancel, probably so I can't get a refund. The phone number attached to this doesn't work. The host doesn't reply to messages/emails/voicemails. No help was given on the day of check in and no help since either. Other local hotels were outside my price range of fully booked. Please, no one ever book here because you'll be forced to stay outside the night like I experienced. Other reviews say of similar things and they're true.

- Christina (9/5): - The place was practical for a 1 night stay. I stayed in a double bed room w/private bathroom. Had just a Desk and bed. Was furnished with towels but no wash cloth. No Tele either. Had a fridge down the hall with 3 other tenants but no microwave. Bed could have been more comfortable. Thin comforter. Walked out and went to light and I was at Lewisham Shopping Center-so it was a good location. Price should have been 60 not 80. Had no amenities. No iron,soap,etc.

The flat advertised on booking.com was not the one apocated to me, a different room was assigned to me entirely. There is no good customer service from the agent. We kept contacting him, and he kept declining my call and didn't even respond to my whatsapp message

Consequently, we vacated the premises immediately.
The hygiene standards were demonstrably substandard.
Specifically, the bed linens and bath towels appeared used AND full of hair.... the toilet was not cleaned from the prior occupants, and the waste receptacle was overflowing.
The room had an unpleasant smell too...
Attempts to contact the property owner were unsuccessful, and a refund was denied.
This matter has been escalated to Booking.com.

Met the room filled with trash from a previous guest.No toilet roll or kitchen to heat our food. The toilet sit was close to the radiator. I kept burning myself, and I wouldn't recommend this property to no one.

The photos on the website do not correspond to reality. The walls are thin, there is no soundproofing, I could hear people talking in another room, and it prevented me from resting. I do not recommend this hotel. I didn't like everything.
- Mashoud (1/5): - There was nothing likable, the entire experience was horrible to say the least Unfortunately upon arrival at the property, we were able to access the property with the code we were given but we could not find the keys to access the rooms, I had messaged the property owner as instructed by their check in details but still, could not find the keys to access the room. Even with the property owners instructions on how to find the keys, unfortunately, there was no keys and hence we could not get access to the room, this was very stressful, traumatizing and disheartening considering my trust in booking.com. After back and forth communication with the said property owner and still no key anywhere to access the room, We did not have any other alternative than to find an alternative accommodation as we needed to rest after a long journey and therefore cancel the booking. The owner also claimed to have called me severally to no avail but this is not true as they only chatted and even with their chats, the key was not there to access the room.
I did communicate with the said property owner for a refund but they seemed adamant. This looks very much like a scam to me as why will there be no keys to access the room. It is rather unfortunate that this happened on Booking.com website. I have reported the incident to booking.com and hopefully, they are able to resolve it by retrieving the money.

- Victoria (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great, ten minutes from work. the host was very easy to contact and all the instructions to get to and enter the property were easy to follow. There cobwebs and dust. There no facilities to make a hot drink or warm up meals.

- Colin (8/5): It functioned well as a stop off. - A little difficulty in getting in, but after contacting host by text, managed it.
Pretty Clean, shower good. I was only there for a night's kip. Parking was on single yellow line, so chanced it, and got up early to ward off the parking police! Next door neighbour in room next to me was tunelessly singing along to Iphone music which kept me awake until 1am!
But hey ho, that's the gamble!

1 towel for 2 people. Nothing else on the room (no soap, shampoo, towels, bedding, covers).
The owner sent me 2 times the same message of his rules and penalties. Don't leave rubbish, don't smoke, or any sign of smoking +1£100. If you leave the apartment 1min late after check out time +£20, bedding & towels stain +£20.

- Dauda (1/5): FRAUD STOLE MY MONEY HEALTH HAZARD - The merchant advertised that the apartment had a kitchen, heating, no damp unfortunately there were none of these facilities. It smelled of damp and extremely cold. We were honest with him because of health reasons if he could give us an alternative place of which he said that an alternative did not exist. He blocked my phone so i could not communicate with him i believe its fraud. Also booking.com.claimed that he was not responding to them Booking.com is not helpful at all to this fraud situation.
The man lied that there was a kitchen but it's not true it's just a room. The man lied that there was heating but its not true it was extremely cold and smelling damp.
We did not use the place the man promised to refund but instead he blocked my phone so not to contact him. Why would someone want to steal another person's money that they did not work for.
WHY STEAL WHAT IS NOT YOURS WHEN YOU LIE ABOUT WHAT YOU ADVERTISE?????
