• Seng Leong (10/5): Excellent. Highly recommended - We had a wonderful stay in Rome with our family of four, thanks to a very professional and caring host. Highly recommended! Before our arrival, communication was excellent — responses were always timely, instructions were clear, and they even helped to organise our airport transfer smoothly. We arrived in Rome at 9am and although the official check-in time was 3pm, the host did their best to prepare the apartment earlier and allowed us to check in at around 1:30pm. Throughout the wait, they kept us updated regularly and were very thoughtful in making arrangements for us. They also suggested a luggage storage service near the apartment. Initially, we were a little concerned about leaving our large bags there for a few hours, but host assured that they personally know the operators of this storage place. Everything turned out perfectly and the service was excellent. This allowed us to comfortably explore the Colosseum area before the apartment was ready. Upon check-in, Marco met us personally at the apartment and gave a detailed introduction on using the lift, lighting controls, and apartment facilities. The apartment itself was exactly as advertised — cosy, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the shower facilities were excellent, and the espresso machine came with 25 capsules, which is probably the most generous coffee supply we’ve ever had in any accommodation! The kitchen was fully equipped with appliances and cutlery, and having both a washing machine and dryer was extremely convenient for our family. The location was also great. Most major attractions were within a pleasant 30–40 minute walk. The neighbourhood felt very safe, with many eateries, a café, and a Carrefour Express just steps away. Overall, this was a fantastic stay with an outstanding host. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Rome. Thank you much Marco! Nil

• LINDA (10/5): Comfortable luxury in the heart of historic Rome! - The apartment is beautiful! The location is only a short walk to the Colosseum! It was well stocked with everything you need. We only stayed two nights before our cruise but all six ladies enjoyed the apartment very much! The two bathrooms were luxurious and the showers were outstanding! It was tastefully decorated and made our short stay feel like home! Our interactions with Trisha and Marco were both professional and friendly! Marco even mailed postcards for one of the ladies!! You should definitely stay here on your visit to Rome!! 100% recommended! I can’t think of anything negative!

• Ruth (10/5): Fabulous stay in a beautifully appointed apartment ☺️ - What a fantastic apartment - beautifully decorated, quiet and spotlessly clean with more than enough space for three. It is very well appointed throughout and we felt thoroughly spoilt by the luxury feel and really didn't want to leave! Marco and Sara were amazing hosts and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay, keeping in touch and answering any questions we had. They also gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations! There are plenty of great restaurants to chose from nearby and good small grocery stores too. The apartment is in a fantastic location - just a 5 min walk from the colosseum and plenty of good transport links if needed. We had a fabulous stay and can't wait to revisit again. Thank you! ☺️

• Gloria (4/5): I would not recommend this property. - Continued from below… Separately, when we realized we had initially booked the apartment (which accommodates 6 people) for 2 guests instead of 4 and requested to update the reservation with no other changes, the host demanded an additional €1,000, or €800 in cash (screenshot attached). We had originally paid approximately $650. We did not request anything extra and instead went straight to Booking.com customer service and they were able to resolve this issue and update the number of guests on the reservation at no additional charge. The lack of transparency, misrepresentation of known issues, unfounded accusations, and unreasonable pricing practices significantly impacted our stay. Furthermore, their statements were inconsistent and factually contradicted. I would not recommend this property. We experienced multiple serious issues with this property and host (edited previous review to provide photos and clarification). During our stay, there was a pre-planned, building-wide power outage lasting over 6 hours, leaving us with no electricity, no Wi-Fi, no elevator, and complete darkness, as the electronic shutters could not be opened without power. When asked how the shutters could be opened manually, we received no response (screenshot attached). An emergency blinking light flashed continuously throughout the outage, further causing discomfort. Guests were not informed in advance, despite outage notices posted throughout the building (picture attached). When asked during the outage, the host stated they had no prior knowledge and claimed they had just called to report the issue and were told it was a city error. The building manager later confirmed the outage was scheduled ahead of time. In a subsequent response to our review, the host stated they were notified of the outage at 7 AM on the day it occurred. This directly conflicts with their earlier messages to us that the outage was not pre-planned and that they had only just contacted the city after we reached out at 10 AM (screenshots attached - timestamp should be adjusted to 6 hours forward). Guests were not notified at any point prior to the outage. Additionally, the host insinuated that we had damaged the shutters/window, which was not the case. The shutters in the main bedroom were already not functional when we had arrived and marked with “do not touch” notices. We did not tamper with or alter any fixtures or systems in the apartment. We were also not permitted to control the heating ourselves and had to contact the host each time an adjustment was needed. Continued above…
• Changwen (10/5): We had a fantastic stay at Luxury Stars In Rome – Andromeda Apartment. - Marco was an exceptional host — very friendly, patient and took the time to show us around the apartment upon arrival, which made settling in effortless. The apartment itself is beautifully presented and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable — literally next to the Colosseum — making it incredibly convenient to explore Rome on foot. Waking up so close to such an iconic landmark was truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience and a great host in the heart of Rome. We would happily stay here again. Nothing I can thing about.

I guess due to regulations(?), the apartment wasn't very warm. In January it could get very brisk at night, and the apartment was rather chilly.
• Oi Lin (10/5): Perfect stay! - Rome was the last stop of our Italy trip and we were happy to have stayed in this fabulous apartment - it was the perfect ending! The apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the Manzoni Metro Station - we had no problem pulling our suitcases across the streets from the station to the apartment. It's also near to the Colosseum. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and well-equipped with modern appliances. We felt at home there. Although we didn't have the chance to meet Sara and Marco, they provided us detailed instructions in advance and remained contactable via WhatsApp during our stay. Their agency also took good care of us. Overall, it was the best apartment we stayed in during our holiday in Italy! Nothing!

Waking up and having that ancient wonder as your neighbourhood is an experience you can't get in any hotel. The apartment itself is a "Real Gem." It's clear the owners, Marco and Sara, have put a lot of thought into the recent renovation. Everything is fresh, clean, and stylish, creating a wonderfully comfortable and functional space. After long days of meetings, it was a sanctuary to return to. A special mention must go to the hosts themselves. Marco and Sara were extremely helpful and professional from booking to checkout, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. What truly set it apart were the thoughtful touches. Finding a set of slippers and a full set of L'Herbolario toiletries for each of us was a top-notch, five-star detail we truly appreciated. It’s these little things that show a genuine care for the guests' experience. For any business travellers seeking a perfect blend of professional comfort and authentic Roman charm, look no further. Every little need fulfilled. A few small improvements would be nice. Like tissues in the bathroom instead of having to use toilet paper. Also, the loose carpet in the bedroom could pose a tripping hazard if you are not careful.

Ze boden alle hulp en ondersteuning aan daar waar nodig. Het appartement is gewoon TOP! Net, sfeervol ingericht en van alle luxe faciliteiten voorzien. Is centraal gelegen en op loopafstand (bijna) alles. In de straat is een klein supermarktje en iets verder op de hoek ook nog een bakker. Dat ons verblijf veel te snel voorbij ging.🙈😊

• Kelly (10/5): Love, love, love - There’s so much we like about this place… 1. Location- close to the Colosseum that you can see it at the entrance of the building. The buses and tram is available to go anywhere. Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets are close by for your needs. 2. Clean & Comfort- you can tell that the apartment is taken care of by the owners. The place was clean, had all the amenities you needed. They really thought of all the needs that a traveler needs like mirrors outside the bathrooms so multiple people can get ready at the same time. The beds and pillows were one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in while traveling, wish I had checked so I can buy one for home. 3. Accessibility- Marco was always reachable by text and was so helpful with questions or suggestions. Also loved the treats he left for our family. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

• Natalie (10/5): Don't miss this apartment! - The apartment truly felt luxurious. Mario and Sera thought of everything down to the acqua natural and acqua frizzante waiting for us in the fridge. I think I drank half the Nespresso. It is gorgeous, a sight to behold, in such a great neighborhood so close to both the Colosseum and St. John Lateran, the residence of the Pope. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful, and they checked in with us throughout our stay. The apartment building was quiet and we felt very safe throughout our stay. Oh and the shower is fantastic! Photos can't do it justice. I don't think I read all the terms closely enough about the cash deposit on checkin to be ready, but it turned out fine and we got it back on checkout. Just be sure to have it when you check in. I can't recommend this apartment enough.

• Mizutani (10/5): Exceptional - The room was well-designed and enhanced our festive mood as first-time travelers in Italy. The facilities were well maintained and easy to use. Complimentary water (still and sparkling), soda, Nespresso coffee, and tea bags were all excellent. The staff was located in a nearby office. We were able to leave our luggage there after check-out, allowing us to enjoy a few more hours of sightseeing before heading to the train station. We also accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment once, but the staff, who are stationed in the office during the daytime, promptly helped us.

The building is located in a fun, safe neighbourhood with excellent restaurants and gelato nearby. The Colosseum is just down the street. It was the perfect base for our family holiday in Rome!

• Asta (8/5): Perfect place for a quiet and comfortable stay in the heart of Rome - The apartment is very spacious, clean, and cozy – ideal for both families and groups of friends. Everything inside is thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest details: capsule coffee, tea, water, sweets, and even an orchid in the bathroom. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The location is extremely convenient. Just a few minutes’ walk to the Colosseum and other major landmarks. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a lovely little café is right outside the apartment – perfect for breakfast. Despite being in the center, the apartment itself was quiet and peaceful. The host also arranged a taxi for both airport pickup and drop-off – very convenient. The car was spacious and comfortable for 5 people, and the driver was very kind and helpful. Warm greetings to him! During our stay, the weather was rainy and chilly, so we needed a warm place to return to. However, the heating was only turned on upon request – which already felt unusual – and only for a short time. We had to ask for it every evening. Just as it started to feel warm, it would switch off again. The towel warmers in the bathrooms also worked only occasionally, so towels stayed damp, and overall humidity remained in the air. When we mentioned this, we were advised to use the dryer and were told that “it’s 21 degrees inside.” But that temperature definitely didn’t feel real – when heating is only on briefly and not maintained, the space never feels properly warm. In the evenings, we could only warm up under the covers or in a hot shower. Unfortunately, this affected the overall mood of the trip, especially after long days of walking in cool weather.

We arrived early and were facilitated with an early checkin and also assisted with luggage storage at a small fee on checkout. The apartment is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable and a lovely touch having the bathrooms and kitchen stocked with the basic essentials, including a choice of speciality coffees. The information booklet also has wonderful tips and recommendations for restaurants and the all important Gelati! All your questions answered! Location is excellent, with a view of the breathtaking Colloseum when you walk out your front door and a lovely authentic Roman cafe with pastries, lunch and coffee literally on your door step. A small supermarket stocking the essentials is also just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. If you are looking for an apartment stay in Rome, this is it!!! Honestly we were blown away by it. The personal touches from Marco and Sara are so welcoming and you are made feel like friends coming to visit! We look forward to coming back in the future. Nothing.....first class!
• Kelly (10/5): Amazing Hosts, we were treated like Family/Friends, Fabulous Apartment, Very Clean, Great Location - 5 Star all the way, where to start!… Marco and Sara were outstanding hosts from the moment we booked the a commendation 10 months prior to going, to the day we departed. It was like visiting a friend or family member we were looked after so well. We booked this trip to celebrate my Daughters 21st Birthday 5 days in Rome. The pictures are a true reflection on how beautiful the apartment is (there is no photoshopping thankfully), the rooms are beautifully decorated large and more importantly extremely clean they are show home standards. The apartments location is super! you come out off the apartment and to the left you are a 5 minute walk to the Metro (which is very easy to use to get around Rome, we didn’t experience any pickpockets it felt safe for us). Turn to the right and you are faced with the amazing sight of the Colosseum at the end of your street (it was mind blowing every time I stepped out of the apartment truly unbelievable). You have a Cafe virtually on your doorstep selling great coffee and pastries to get you going in the morning if you don’t feel like making your own. You are surrounded by great restaurants (Marco and Sara gave us brilliant recommendations and pre booked the restaurants for us prior to arriving to avoid the tourist trap restaurants, the restaurants booked were very reasonable by UK standards which was a pleasant surprise). On arrival and departing we used the recommended airport pick up service no hassle on arrival we met our driver then taken directly to the apartment where we met Vincent who welcomed us and spoke us through everything we needed to know for our stay (again a lovely person so helpful). On leaving the apartment again Vincent came to ensure everything was okay for our departure and the Driver was there to take us back to the airport. I recommended using this service as it was truly hassle free and worth the little extra. My family and I can’t thank Marco and Sara enough, fabulous hosts Perfect nothing to dislike

• June (10/5): Cosy warm apartment that feels like home - The apartment looks exactly like the pictures as shown, very big, high ceiling, very tastefully and luxuriously decorated, clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows are firm, and we got one of the best sleeps during our 2 weeks of travel. There are 2 toilets, both are good sized with sufficient counter space. Nespresso machine is provided alongside generous amount of various flavoured capsules. The apartment is located near the Colosseum, about 10 mins walk to the entrance. Communication with the hosts is flawless, from the train transfer to the airport transfer, everything went smooth. A lot of sweets are provided in many of the rooms, and they are surely addictive! Nothing serious but perhaps the hosts can provide Olive oil, salt and pepper for cooking.

Beds were super comfy, and apartment was lovely and warm, when we came back after our outings on cold winter days. The apartment is meticulously designed, both elegant and welcoming, with spacious rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the top-quality, soft towels and linens added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bathrooms, with their multi-functional showers, felt like pure indulgence—ideal for unwinding after long days exploring the city. We also greatly appreciated the convenience of the luggage storage service and the seamless airport transfers to and from FCO, which made everything so much easier. Marco greeted us warmly, sharing invaluable tips on what to see, where to eat, and how to book excursions, making our stay in Rome truly special. Sara was equally amazing, supporting us before, during, and even after our visit with exceptional care and attention. The apartment is also surrounded by fantastic restaurants and authentic trattorias, all within a 5-minute walk. Yhe apartment has been absolutely perfect for our family of five. It felt like we were being held hostage as we waited for the owner (?) to come and inspect the property we stayed in 1 night. Waste of money since I had to pay exchange rate to get all that cash and a waste of our time as we waited for the meetup and inspection.

• Vicky (10/5): Pure luxury in a wonderful apartment in a great location - Wow! This apartment is amazing. So much luxury. We loved it so much. Beautiful to come back to after a long day. We loved seeing the colosseum lit up at night from our apt. Marco and Sara outstanding hosts from the first booking till the end. Great suggestions and offer of help. Could not ask for more. There was a very small old manual lift that broke down once - but was fixed the very next morning. We were appreciative there was a lift at all as not many apartments have one so very lucky.
• David (10/5): Excellent stay and location but need to know the extra details so you are prepared. - The location, comfort, decor and cleanliness of this property was perfect. It allowed us to walk to everything we wanted to see or easily get a taxi. The addition of a washer/dryer in the unit helped as we had already been on the road several days. I will start the fact that these are the nicest people, but these are the things I was frustrated about because they are not flexible AT ALL on the following issues. The fact we needed to pay a deposit IN CASH before we were given the key. I was given my choice on a higher amount in American or normal deposit in EUROs. Besides the cash deposit, we had to pay an extra charge for a mistake on booking which did not include my almost 80 year old parents. I was charged extra for them even though I already rented a two bedroom apartment. This is not a hotel chain; this is an individual's apartment. I own a business and I try to be flexible with my customers in the case of an error. I did get my deposit back the very first thing as the apartment was expected for damage.

Centrally located meant that we could see many attractions on foot. The apartment was stylishly decorated and clean. Laundry facilities were a great help for a family of 5. There was a fully functioning Kitchen and two bathrooms and a coffee machine with pods provided. We enjoyed our stay there. It exceeded our expectations so there was nothing we didn't like.
• Sandra (10/5): All in all it was a lovely stay and location was perfect for our 2 day visit in Rome - Great location for our pre cruise stay. Within walking distance to all historical sites we wanted to see. About 15 to 25 minutes walking. Could see the Colosseum from our doorstep of the apartment. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by. Apartment was perfect! Expresso coffee and a bottle of water provided as well. Comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms especially the rain showers. Marco always available and checking to see if we needed anything. Arranged transportation from airport and to cruise port. Even made dinner reservations for us and the restaurant he recommended was awesome! Nothing. Everything was great but I think just having to pay for luggage storage was a little surprising since we had to wait an hour for our transfer to pick us up. I wish I would have known that ahead of time and would have requested our transfer pick up at check out time of 11:00 am.

Service was first class, on time and reasonably priced. Simply outstanding from start to finish! Nothing negative at all.
• Victoria (9/5): Marco tries to provide the best comfort without forgetting the deco-beauty in the apartment! - The apartment is located in a tranquil area where we can had a decent sleep with the provided comfortable bed. Right downstairs, there is a bistrot where provides lovely viennoises, coffee and lunch! Walking distance to Colosseo and easy access to many tourist attractions. Clean and disinfect bed linen and towels. Nice shower. Warm hospitality landlord always tries to help, such as letting us to have early check-in under the possible conditions, deposition of luggage before check-in, restaurant reservation, and getting someone to help us bring down the luggage when the lift was broken. We didn’t get to meet Marco but can still feel his warm personality! That was vey very kind! If you need assistance to get a transfer from the airport to the apartment or vice versa, Marco is able to organise it for the tenants.
• Ingrid (10/5): Very luxurious and spacious oasis for our Rome stay - It was phenomenal. You can see the colosseum down the street so the coloseo metro stop was just a 7min walk away. Also the bus stops on merulana were very close. Just a few minutes walk from the bus stops. But the apartment itself was very spacious, extremely well furnished, and had air conditioning. It was luxurious. 3 bedrooms for our family of 6 and two baths with 2 showers and a washer and dryer. The showers were luxurious with 3 heads in each. The linens were nice. It was just fantastic staying here. Beautiful building and beautiful tall windows. We all loved it and were so comfortable and happy to come back to air conditioning. We booked a great ebike tour with top bike which, it turned out, was a 4min walk down labicana. It turned out perfectly. We would definitely stay here again. Four flights up and the elevator was small and stuffy. But we didn’t mind it too much actually

Excellent restaurants close by as well as supermarket. rooms are spacious and well appointed. building is luxurious. bathrooms are very comfortable and excellent showers (best we had in Italy). kind hosts provide water and soft drinks as well as coffee. there is absolutely nothing to fault with the apartment personally I feel the breakage deposit is steep - and it makes one a little nervous of accidentally doing something wrong - it feels very strict.

We could see the Colosseum from the street door to the apartment building. A short walk to the metro station and restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was at the back of the building on a quiet street. The host communication was very good with advance information and suggestions beforehand. Arrival and departure at the apartment was no problem. They also arranged transfers to and from the airport and recommended and booked a restaurant for a special last night dinner. Can’t think of anything we would change. Even the weather was better than forecast!
