- Jo (3/5): Terrible! Go somewhere else! - Definitely a case of you get what you pay for! Collecting the keys was a hassle, there was no record of my booking as the "host" hadn't sent them to the key collection place. We sat outside our apartment for 1/2 hour trying to get in as the "host" hadn't updated the pin to enter the door. There was a hole above the shower where the fan was falling through the roof. There was a dirty sock in the lounge. The fridge had old lettuce in it. The shower was full of mould and dark hair. There is no air conditioning. The only curtains in the apartment were see through and I am sure one was a shower curtain. There was food still in the microwave. Then to top it off, we went to breakfast up the street and when we returned our access code wouldn't work to get back in and all our luggage was still in the room and it was only 9am. It took at least 1/2 an hour to get hold of the host to rectify this issue. I didn't get a reply to any messages before we checked in. Even Booking.com couldn't help us. The host didn't answer the phone at all to us over the entire weekend.
- Michelle (1/5): Don't stay here - Nothing Bathroom disgusting, beds uncomfortable, linen/pillows stained, bed looked like it had been slept in, lounge uncomfortable, sheer curtains provide no privacy or option to sleep in, cupboards/vanity in disrepair. Overall, the worst accommodation i have stayed in. I'm sure there must be some standard for hygiene and cleanliness?

- Logan (3/5): - The linen on the bed was fresh and clean with two pillows supplied. The check in procedure was arduous at best. No parking details supplied at check-in.
On arrival at the unit we found it to be very dirty, the bathroom ceiling is falling in and lots of mould.
After we check-in I received an email to inform me the blind in the main bedroom was damaged by the previous occupants and wouldn't be replaced until after our stay. We had to get changed in the bathroom. The whole apartment requires a full deep clean and repainting.

- McDermott (4/5): - Central location When we arrived, due to a previous customer the fob key had been disarmed, Sat night and we could not get into our accommodation. Fortunately three tenants in the building helped us. No one answered numbers given. Highly irresponsible and no apology given.
Shower and toilet were dirty and dishes/ glassware needed to be cleaned as they were all sticky .
Perhaps if advertising then make sure key fobs are working
If paying for someone to clean, make sure they do.

The beds had clean sheets, and towels were fresh and clean. The apartment was dirty.
The oven had not been cleaned.
From the previous occupancy socks and rubbish had been left under both beds. The kitchen floor was unclean.
The spare dunna was stained. The cushion on the couch was stained.

- Beard (1/5): Do not go to this place because it’s cheap, stay away spend a bit of extra money and go anywhere but this location - The only good thing about the property was its location. The place is filthy dirty, the bathroom was by far the worst it had mould on the grout in the tiles we all had to wear thongs in there. Nobody responded to our many many phone calls over three days,that included the so “ be my guest “ place where we picked up the key from, which is nowhere near the actual accommodations. Bookings.Com took our complaints then that was the end of their so called help. We were only given one key for three adults very hard to coordinate. The pots etc needed to be cleaned before we could use them only the tiniest little bit of dish washing liquid, no soaps or hand sanitiser in the bathroom. I would never ever recommend this place to anybody and I will never ever return.

- Bec (5/5): We were very disappointed. We choose this apartment as it was self contained but because of the fact it wasn’t clean and - Location was fabulous. Layout of apartment was ideal for 2 groups. There was myself with my teenage daughter and my friend with her teen age daughter The shower was full of mould and the bathroom ceiling above the shower near the exhaust fan looked like it could fall at any time. There was power cords everywhere. The aircon was not operational. There was a window open which was scary as we were on the 5th floor. There was rubbish under and behind furniture. The beds were like sleeping on concrete.
- Navneet (2/5): It was gross - They gave us coffee 👍🏽 Where do I start…. When we went to go check in they said they did not have our booking and to contact the person who owned the apartment. Firstly this man didn’t respond to any of my emails and when I tried to call the number that was listed it would say call failed or that it wasn’t available however they picked up when the agency called. When we entered the apartment the first thing we saw was “smoke meth everyday” on the white board which was the first indication that they don’t clean this place. Another indication was there was hair all over the beds, a CONDOM WRAPPER UNDER THE BED and there was stains on the beds and couches. The cupboard were sticky and the roof of the bathroom looked like it was going cave in. The shower had a rank smell as soon as I turned the water on also. We went out of our way to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned the place ourselves because it was so gross so at least they have got cleaning supplies now to clean the damn place. The email said there was wifi. When I tried to look for wifi there legit none. I would ask for a refund but honestly I’m probably not gonna get a response or some half ass response.
For $939 I expected the place to be at least clean and agent to be responsive. I knew it was a red flag as soon as we needed to check in. Do not book this place unless you want some sort of STD.

The apartment was a good size and satisfactory beds and furniture
Second bedroom - is small -no wardrobe ! The apartment was tired and worn ( showing it’s age - it’s ready for a make- over)
The mouldy shower grout in the shower was disgusting!And unfortunately the cistern stopped filling and continuously ran for last 2 days and I was told to a fix request “as weekend - no plumber !”
I consider that -a most unsatisfactory response to a guest !
The microwave door was a lift up and didn’t self hold up -so impossible to use!
There was no welcome booklet to help with information! No TV instructions/manual So we were without a TV for 2 days until finally figured out how to work it!
No return key instruction
No rubbish disposal advice
No dryer
Apt was advised as free Wifi
But no dongle - so no wifi for entire stay -extremely frustrating!
Bought pizza to heat up in oven but the tray supplied didn’t fit in the oven!!
Overall the cleanliness of the apartment was average at best !!

Bed is very squeaky when you move make noise sound. We book for parking space but was wasted only they did not give us details and we end up paying another parking area which we waste $100. We ask for refund but did not recieved yet.

- David (3/5): We can see why it was cheap. - The location was great and access to transport, NGV, shopping, dining, the river all fantastic. Whilst on our way to the property from Canberra, we attempted to call the key holder and they would not accept calls and would only respond via messages. The communication was less than efficient and quite laborious. The actual collection was easy but getting the info out of the person was very tedious.
The apartment was dirty, the cutlery needed cleaning, stains on the lounges, the chairs had filth on and under them, the fire alarms/censors were either disconnected or broken, bedding not folded properly, the bathroom tiles were dirty with leftover hair and much from previous users, the list goes on.
Some of this was in other reviews but we thought, no cant be right so we gave it a go. Oh well we made the best of it and had a great stay by brining our own bedding and cleaned before we settled in. Oh and their way out of being blamed for the condition was they outsource their cleaning. They could easily have gotten a higher return if they put in the effort. We would have paid a higher nightly rate if it were cleaner. Anyway, overall we had a good time but unless there is change we won't go back to that apartment-----real pity.
- Zulfikar (7/5): Great stay - Great location, in the middle of the CBD, opposite tram station. Apartment nice and spacious. Will definitely book again, stayed for 2 weeks. Checkin and checkout, key pick and drop off is around 10 to 15 minutes walk away. If you have plenty bags or kids, this could become challenging. Also, only 1 key is provided which was difficult for us as there were 2 of us staying.

The property was filthy and disgusting
It smells like garbage and there was holes in the walls. The bathroom and shower was so dirty it is the worst property I have ever come across on booking.com.

I’m very disappointed in booking.com for even letting a property like this be on their site It was so filthy and disgusting obviously someone lived there and don’t clean their house. We left straight away as I will not stay at such a disgusting place

Had laundry and kitchen facilities which made things much easier. A bit grimy: some marks on bedsheets, shower tiles a bit grubby, a few pieces of cutlery and a saucepan needed washing before use. Air conditioning didn’t really work and only one window opened.

Surfaces like tables and bench tops greasy and unclean. Microwave dirty inside. Door in front of microwave didn’t stay open by itself. Oven so dirty wouldn’t use it. Fridge hadn’t been cleaned out and had dried up milk in the door storage. Pillows old and stained. Dirt marks on the couch. Dining chair cushions were dirty and underneath cushions were full of food scraps. Heater didn’t work properly. We informed them we would arrive at 3.00 pm. Had to wait over 30 minutes when collecting the key because it hadn’t been dropped off yet. No apology for this delay.

When we went to use the bathroom because we had traveled from perth, there was hair and pubic hair in the shower and used Band-Aid in the bathroom cupboard. I went and bought cleaning products from Woolworths to clean the bathroom. When we went to bed, we noticed blood on the pillows, when we pulled back the blankets - they were yellow stained and had blood on them. So we went to Kmart to buy bedding. When I went to heat up a bottle in the microwave for my baby, the microwave was dirty with food splatter. I understand it isn’t a hotel, but would expect to have a clean property to stay in for the 5 nights we were there and not having to buy blankets as they were dirty.

No iron, no hair dryer, no milk, no batteries in remote couldn’t watch tv. Towels were very poor quality and it was questionable how fresh the linen on the bed was. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Unable to contact property owner and email not answered. I have stayed in cleaner backpackers. Really overpriced for a very poorly maintained apartment. I am sorry I didn’t think to take photos. Would not stay here again.

Easy enough to get an uber esp since the trams weren't operating properly. We thought it had a sofa bed but it was only a sofa so I ended up sharing a bed with one of my daughters.
The rug under the coffee table was very hard / uncomfortable under foot and the coffee table took up quite a bit of the loungeroom space, and all 3 of us walked into at one point over the course of our stay.
These are the things I would change (sofa to an actual sofa bed, a smaller coffee table, and a softer rug)

It only had a few odds and ends of plates and plastic bowls. the glasses and plates were dirty and greasy. I had to wash them before I could use them. I wanted to make a platter before we headed out for the evening and there was nothing apart from some butter plates that I could use. vacuum cleaner left out in main bedroom, cords everywhere. bed was so low the top of it only came half way to my knees and was hard as rock. apartment much smaller than it looked in photos. dead plants in pots in kitchen bench.
when using booking.com, I’ve always believed that it ensures a certain standard of accommodation and cleanliness. this apartment should be removed from your books. Disgraceful. I would like a partial refund (as I told the host) but they just told me to leave. with guests arriving to stay in 15 minutes, that wasn’t an option.

- Stephanie (5/5): Disappointed,taken advantage of as from another state, Brisbane doesn’t throw this sort of stunt, shame Melbourne. - 2 Separate bedrooms for privacy and sleeping. Comfortable seats and kitchenette. The view was disappointing, the bottom of the shower was nasty, bathroom ceiling was dirty, we still had to travel to get to the nice restaurants and cafe’s, the beds didn’t have top sheets and there was no wifi. Not value for money it was very very expensive for what it was.

- Lisa (7/5): Centrally located and fairly comfortable but getting the key upon arrival was an awful experience. - the property was very central to everything you would want in the city and had easy access to trams, trains and buses to travel further.
The room had all of the basic amenities you would want and it is nice having a self-contained place should you wish to eat in or relax more in-house.
it was fairly quiet which was a bonus on Friday and Saturday nights after long days. Getting the key from a key safe to the property was a shambles. it was not where the property manager said it would be and at 4.30pm no one was picking up the phones to help. I messaged through the Booking.com app and finally got a reply. After about half an hour of searching the streets around the property we finally located the
keysafe. I then had a call from the cleaner of the property who told me she was the local contact for it. She told me the property is managed from
America and I was messaging people there who were then passing my messages to her to resolve. She was most apologetic and helpful but it was a painful process after travelling all day.
There also was another couple booked in to the same property who could not find their keysafe and because they did not have the Booking.com
app had no way of contacting the right people. They paired with us and found their key safe next to ours but the PIN number they were given was wrong. They tried our PIN number and it worked for their lock too. It was a very painful process.
One bedroom is very small so our suitcases were in the dining area. One side of the bed in that room creaked every time you moved too.
