- Pat (1/5): It was a nightmare. We were in Mönchengladbach for a funeral and had been travelling for 12 hours. We were exhausted whe - Absolutely nothing Everything! The apartment hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. The layout was terrible with 2 beds placed behind a partition in the living room and a further bed on the landing at the top of the stairs. It also had 2 further bedrooms with cheap furniture and no curtains. Everywhere felt grubby and unclean. The curtain rail was falling down in the living room and the curtains were also grubby and did not keep out any light. There were crumbs and dirt under the cushion pad on the sofa in the living room, and we also found a dirty article of clothing! (underwear-not sure?) The kitchen was awful. The toilet seat was broken. The cooker, hob and freezer were all dirty which had built up over time. The stairs to the next floor were old and wooden and the hallway had a crack in the wall. There were no towels at all (not that I would have used them) but by far it was the beds and bedding that shocked my party the most. The mattresses were stained,the pillows and duvets had orange and yellow staining and the pillowcases and duvet covers had a stale unwashed smell.

- Rolf Christian (3/5): Froh wieder weg zu sein - Größe der Wohnung Laut, Sauberkeit, unter Maisonette verstehe ich nicht eine Wohnung mit Dachgeschoss das über das Treppenhaus erreichbar ist. Billigste Möbel, teilweise offene Spanplatte (z.B. Küchenarbeitsplatte). Für den Zustand viel zu teuer.
