• Albie (4/5): - Apartment is airy, very close to shops and restaurants. (1) No elevator, the stairs are very steep and narrow. Apartment is on the 3rd floor and each flight of stairs is really 2 regular flights/ floors so you are looking at 4 regular flights. Then there are two more sets of stairs inside the apartment to consider. The apartment is not for people that are not in good physical condition. (2) The WiFi signal does not go beyond the living room. (3) The 3rd bedroom has only one single bed not two as listed. The room does not cool down, not sure if it is the air conditioning. Also, there is noise from late night revelers in the bar next door to the apartment. (4) Owner wanted €30 extra in cash for us to use the washing machine. (5) In arrival, owner demanded cash only for Florence city tax. We were lucky that we had cash on us. (6) Owner charged us €50 for the broken lid of the coffee maker and would not let us take the broken one. Brand new better models of the machine cost €60 or thereabouts.
• Jamie (9/5): Loved this place and would stay there again! - The location is exceptional! VERY close to all the major attractions in Florence. We walked everywhere and didn't need to take public transit. The apartment was newly renovated and was beautifully decorated. The windows helped sound-proof the apartment. We would absolutely recommend this property! There is no elevator and there are two flights of very steep stairs. This apartment would not be good for anyone with lower extremity or heart problems. Also, the shower in the primary bedroom is separate from the toilet area. In other words, you can take a shower in full view of the primary bed. We weren't fond of this aspect.
