Rock (8/5): Very good - No breakfast, but in front of the hostel are fruit and snack stalls and two shops abit behind, its a 20 minute walk to town, seems to be quicker when it's dark.Theres a good walk down to the river, at the back, where you can hire a boat with owner for an hour or so.BZring your own toilet paper, it's set in a nice garden, it's rustic, there are hammocks.
Ekaterina (10/5): Exceptional - These apartments are located in natural place inside nice tropical forest. Near river. You can meet monkey, interesting birds. Very friendly people. Good bakery with excellent coffee is very close. You can easily to reach Alter do Shao by the public bus. Many insects. Wet and difficult to dry things.
Charlotte (10/5): kind-hearted people and beautiful hostel - The owners of the hostel were very, very niceand friendly. They took care of everything, even welcomed us late in the night and organized a taxi for us. The next day we were able to spontaneously stay another night. They have a beautiful property that feels like home. .
