Guest Reviews
- Stanislaw (8/5): Dobra baza wypadowa - Lokalizacja super, kontakt z gospodarzem ekstra. Jakość łóżek pozostawia do życzenia
- Marley (10/5): Great for a short stay, would recommend to anyone - It was clean, well looked after and easy to access. Nothing, it was perfect for what I needed.
- Pedro (5/5): Great location, but rough neighborhood and aged apartment. - I was given the code to a lock box. It was located near the floor, which made reading the numbers uncomfortable.
Lock box opened with difficulty, and in the end the keys were not inside.
We found the keys under the rug. Building had construction works on the outside. The neighborhood (especially at night) didn't feel very safe.
The condition of the apartment was not great. Door handles fell off, looked quite dated.
The apartment was a lot less spacious than the pictures let on.
It was ok for 5, but quite tight.
- Hilary (7/5): Fine for a night or two, but you need good knees to get to the key box - Kitchen/diner/living room was a good size and appliances were easy to use, plus the lighting was good. Bedrooms are small, and no hanging space in smaller bedroom. Shower over the bath - easy to use. Small and oddly stocked supermarket across the road, plus Iceland at Commercial Road end. I tried to contact the host three times in the week before we travelled. Host didn't reply to e-mail, phone message or text about how to get in: no info on website on whether we'd be met or if there was a key safe. This mattered because my friend can't wait around in the cold. Didn't get name of road (56 Watney Street) until the day itself so it was hard to find on Google maps, and it's currently behind a hoarding but a passer-by helped us find the door. Key box is nearly at floor level, so you need good knees to reach it and get up again (yes, we are quite old!). Longer walk than we expected from Aldgate East tube. No bedside lights. Freezer is in urgent need of defrosting.
- Marzena (5/5): The price was quite high, the lady was very nice and helpful. - high quality towels that were very clean Uncomfy beds, the surrounding area, low shower pressure.

- Andre (6/5): Host was very responsive and helpful, location is alright; needs updates - Very spacious Style, in need of a little bit of renovation
- chloe (10/5): Bon rapport qualité prix - Bon rapport qualité prix.
Le logement n'était pas incroyable, mais tout est tellement cher à Londres qu'on peut dire que c'était bien.
- Krzysztof (9/5): Good and well-located apartment at a reasonable price - The location was great, very close to the underground and the DLR — also, there are lots of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. The owner was very kind (thanks for the power adapter!).
- Judith (6/5): Good location and practical for our needs. - Location was good It was difficult to enter the main building as the instructions were not fully clear and we had to rely on another resident to let us in.
- Eliane (10/5): A tremendous, wonderful stay in a super well equiped, central flat with a great host:-) - For London very central and with DLR /tube at your doorstep practical to get everywhere. Nice neighbourhood, very quite at night, market, shops and restaurants nearby with delicious biryani. For London quite a big flat, apropriate furbished and very clean. The kitchen I would give a 10++ because there is all you need to cook for a big family and even more, everything you need, even salt, sugar, coffee and a big fridge with freezer and a working washing maschine!
THere are seven chairs just when you are many or invite someone over. Also the bathroom has everything you need and is well equiped, soap, shampoo and shower gel, enough toilet paper, cotton buds. We brought our own shampoo, but it's great to see that the host does really care and think about those things too. Lamaye is responding promt and a very helpful and outstanding host:-) After check out, we could easely leave the luggage in the flat for another 3 hours. Thank you very much for everything, we had a tremendous, wonderful stay at your flat:-) That the flat gets quite warm with sunny weather and you could open the windows, but not really wide enough(only in the living room). But for real summer days there is aircon.
