Guest Reviews
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor -
- Brad (9/5): Very happy with everything, location excellent, parking a plus, clean and had everything we needed. Wish we could have s - Great for family of 5. Perfect location! Pillows !
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great. Felt too posh for us and at a great price too
- Liz (10/5): We really loved our stay, location was wonderful and apart from the bathroom complaints the facilities are great and mee - Very quiet, great lay out The bathroom sinks and main bathroom held water due to drainage, and toilet seat in main bathroom was broken.
- Anonymous (10/5): Relaxing getaway between friends - Really good location, nice place A few maintenance problems (eg sliding door to third bedroom was off its rail) no big deal for us though
- French (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (5/5): Get location and size - Close to Bridge Road and Trams and great eating places. Apartment was a great size and the beds are very comfy. Did not have the extra's you would normally get eg: milk, water, nice bathroom soap etc especially for the price. Main bathroorm could not get it to change from bath to shower and very hard to get into shower. Could have been cleaner especially the outside court area's.
- Jennifer (3/5): Disappointing as getting in was stressful and we were up there to attend our son's weddi. - The email could have had instructions. An earlier email would help. The email arrived after we were given a code to the front door which did not work. Going into the link was a very difficult way to run the check-in. We went into all 3 carparks - this could have been clearer.
No top sheet on the bed - not sure bottom sheet was clean. Looks like they forgot to re-make beds - but they were neat.
Big dirty splodge on t towel.
Rest of the place was clean - good location and roomy.
I use booking.com all the time even o/s at it was up there with the most difficult check-in I have had.
- Dannielle (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (1/5): I would not recomend anyone staying at this location - The actual apartment was fine. I was not impressed with having to pay a $500 security deposit 3 weeks before our stay. I was even less impressed when it took 10 days and 3 emails to get it refunded. Getting instructions on where to find the key box was horrendous. No answer on the mobile given for help. Building Manager no help. Lost about 1 hour of our stay trying to get in. Very inconvenient and gave us the feeling we had been scammed.
- Megan (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Found the mattress a bit hard for myself n hubby ,pillows bit flat.An ironing board would be good to. Otherwise great spacious apartment well set up ,nice n clean, good location for trams etc. Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.
- Jim (3/5): Not happy - Communication was woeful, check in instructions were useless, no instructions about parking requirements. Only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 toilets between 5 people. Absolutely minimum quantities of soap etc. The place had not been cleaned. The oven was filthy. Location is great but wouldn't recommend because of above
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Troy (8/5): Very good -
- Cheukling (10/5): Everything is good - Everything is good. They did not provide enough toilet paper.
- Joy (7/5): Amazing Location, some disappointing aspects - The location of this property is amazing, so close to restaurants, public transport and the city. The floor plan of the apartment is well set out for a family stay. Unfortunately, there were a few things that let this property down and be could improved. The overall cleanliness of the property was not of a high standard. The towels supplied were not good quality, didn’t match and had seen better days. Strangely they supplied faced washers, but no hand towels? There was only one tea towel supplied and no dishwasher detergent and we were a family of 4 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. Thankfully our son lives nearby and we had to borrow these items. There was no light globe in 1 of the beside lamps. The property advised a hot tub, but after several attempts to be advised where it was we gave up, disappointing. You are dealing with a third party for information. My biggest gripe with this property is there is a $500 security deposit which we don’t have a problem paying. However, we left the property on the 6 January and did not receive our deposit back until the 31 January after several enquiries as to when we would receive it. Beware the policy is 5-14 business days for the security deposit to be returned.
- Ella (5/5): Passable -
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Location was great, it was close enough to most things we wanted to do for us to either walk or tram. Bonus there are lots of local restaurants and a pub around the corner as well as Coles a few blocks up if you wanted a simple home meal.
The rooms and beds were comfortable. There was also 3 play areas for kids in close proximity to take the kids for some play time.
- Hayley (10/5): Had a great time. Would come back - Location and very spacious Some tea and coffee and milk supplies on arrival would be nice
- Amy (1/5): Avoid avoid avoid - I can tell you what I DIDN’T like… I didn’t like that it took over an hour to find our carpark because the instructions weren’t clear. We had to ask someone from the building where it was. I believe we would still be looking now if we didn’t ask. The ensuite shower was full of mould. The second bathroom shower was in a bath and wasn’t able to be used due to the drain being blocked with hair so it flooded. 6 people had to spend three days sharing one mould filled shower. There was what appeared to be blood sprayed on a wall near one of the beds. There was a past guests underwear left behind. The bath mats were used, they were covered in past guests hair. Drain board in the kitchen was dirty. The oven and microwave were dirty. There were spill marks on the walls. The place was dusty. Beds were lumpy. There wasn’t enough toilet paper for the stay. There wasn’t hand wash or a hand towel to dry your hands. There was past guests food left in the freezer. The amenities state there is a hot tub, that’s a lie. Couldn’t use the kitchen sink because the plug was broken. The pillows were really thin. They need replacing. The host was horrible at communicating. Would ignore my questions about the hot tub (turns out that’s because there isn’t one) gave me the run around when I asked for the link to pay the security deposit. The listing states the $500 security deposit would be refunded with 7 days. That’s a lie. It took 15 days and I had to ask what was going on.
I would avoid this place.
- Sharon (1/5): AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! - The location was good. I booked it to be close to the reception of a wedding we were going to. Outside of that, everything was beyond terrible. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! It was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and the hosts were outrageous in the way we were treated. As I was on my way to the accommodation I received a phone call from a woman telling me I would have to pay a 'security deposit' if I wanted to stay in the apartment. I told her I had booked through Booking.com and had already paid for the accommodation in full. She explained that this was outside of Booking.com and it would be $500. If I didn't pay it I would have to cancel my booking (meaning I wouldn't get a refund!). Where was I going to find other accommodation for my family at the last minute? I ended up paying it as they wouldn't give us the apartment number or the lock box code without it. I then had to fill out a form online, including a copy of my photo id. I was outside of the apartment on the street for 2 hours. I was totally held to ransom and it felt like I was being scammed. So upsetting. It will now take up to 15 days to get the money back. I don't mind paying a security deposit, I know I'm not going to trash the place, but don't ask me for it when I'm on my way there! Just so happens another guest at the wedding had the same thing happen to her for the same apartment. She refused to pay the $500 and had to find somewhere else to stay, all with 2 babies in tow. They had double booked the apartment and taken money from both of us ... SO DODGY!!!
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Deal (7/5): A bit stressful to begin with but nice place in great location. - Great location, somewhere to park included and very clean. Instructions for key location and parking was very hard to understand. If instructions stated that it was apartment 1 it would have made finding keys do much easier. Clearer instructions on finding location of garage also needed - for example “driveway to the right of the entrance to the apartment block”.
- Alex (9/5): Superb - Location is great. Neat and tidy, very good accommodation for 2 couple or a family travelling to Melbourne
