El parqueo no está tan largo como dicen los comentarios, es súper cerca. El desayuno es rico, la habitación super limpia y acogedora y esas camas son super cómodas! El lugar es muy acogedor, con bastante vegetación a su alrededor, la playa si está cerca de la localidad. Estamos deseando volver No hay queja alguna.

• Viola (6/5): Freundlich, aber Tierhaltung enttäuschend und Sauberkeit verbesserungswürdig - Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außerordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das jederzeit bemüht war, unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Die Zimmerausstattung entsprach der Beschreibung, sodass es hier keine negativen Überraschungen gab. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist gut und bietet eine praktische Ausgangsbasis für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Bei der Sauberkeit sehen wir jedoch Verbesserungsbedarf. Im Badezimmer befanden sich Spinnenweben und im Zimmer lagen teilweise tote Insekten. Das hinterlässt leider keinen besonders gepflegten Eindruck. Ein absolutes No-Go für uns war zudem ein einzelner Wellensittich, der in einem kleinen, kargen Käfig im Frühstücksraum gehalten wurde – direkt zwischen Kaffeemaschine und Feuerlöscher. Diese Situation empfanden wir als inakzeptabel. Wellensittiche sind soziale Tiere, die nicht allein gehalten werden sollten und ausreichend Platz sowie eine artgerechte Umgebung benötigen. Die Unterbringung in einem so kleinen Käfig an einem solchen Ort wirkt weder tiergerecht noch passend für einen Bereich, in dem Gäste frühstücken. Wir haben die Situation auch fotografisch dokumentiert und das Thema bereits in einem persönlichen Gespräch angesprochen. An dieser Stelle möchten wir das Hotel nochmals ausdrücklich bitten, die Haltung des Tieres zu überdenken und im Sinne des Tierwohls und des Tierschutzes zu verbessern. Eine tiergerechte Unterbringung sollte aus unserer Sicht selbstverständlich sein.

• Paine (1/5): This place cares more about grabbing your money than your comfort or satisfaction. - The reviews and description seemed good enough but reality is a different story. Also, there is a nice soda nearby. Soda La Perla. The staff is nice and tries to be helpful but the owner only cares about grabbing your money, not your satisfaction. It’s not very well maintained. The room has a weird layout. The bed was not comfortable. The shower was not very strong, when there was actually water. We lost power and water multiple times. There is tacky art, plastic flowers and a bird in a cage….in Costa Rica! The dirt street out front is oddly busy and noisy, a lot. Parking is out back in a “secure” lot. The pool looked like it had normal blue water in the listing but was brownish green when we were there. We had a 4 night reservation, stayed 1 night and attempted to get a 50% refund. Seemed reasonable enough, but not to the owner. Wasted time even trying. We’d recommend staying elsewhere unless you have a very high tolerance for substandard.

Le personnel est très gentil, le petit-déjeuner typique est bon, l’emplacement est idéal : proche de la mer et du centre ville. La piscine est très agréable. La chambre est petite donc cela peut être compliqué avec de grosses valises, mais c’est très fonctionnel.

• Annika (8/5): Wundervolles Ambiente - Das Hotel ist so wunderschön gestaltet mit sehr vielen Pflanzen, Blumen und Tieren, sodass man sich wie im Dschungel fühlt. Im Obergeschoss hat es einen kleinen Aufenthaltsraum mit Büchern, einer Dartscheibe und sogar einem Crosstrainer. Der Pool ist klein, aber absolut ausreichend zum Abkühlen. Der Strand ist in 10 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen, genauso wie die Innenstadt von Samara. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit eigener Kaffeemaschine und einem Fön im Badezimmer. Zudem konnte man sich Strand- und Poolhandtücher ausleihen. Das Frühstück war sehr viel. Man hat immer Obst, Orangensaft, Joghurt und ein warmes Getränk zum eigentlichen Frühstück dazu bekommen. Durch ein undichtes Fenster sind Ameisen in das Badezimmer gelangt, die vom Personal auf Anfrage aber entfernt wurden. Man muss eine Sicherheit hinterlegen für eventuell verursachte Schäden am Hoteleigentum in Höhe von 160$. Beim Check-Out wird das Zimmer vom Personal dann auf Schäden kontrolliert. Hab ich so auch noch nie erlebt.

• letsryan (10/5): Great Value, Amazing Location, Very Friendly Staff - My room had wonderful tall ceilings, with a glass wall facing the outdoor hall. That outdoor hall is full of flora - it feels like they've fairly successfully brought the jungle inside the property. A small but nice pool, small hot tub that I didn't try out, and good breakfast (I had tipico each morning, but there were other options). Great location, very close to a small quiet beach, and an easy walk to the main street and main beach. Exceeded my expectations. I can't really think of anything. No negative experience. The exercise equipment could be better I suppose - but many places in Costa Rica don't even have exercise options, it feels unfair to knock them for exceeding local standards with one bike and a few weights.

Besides that I can totally recommend the hotel. It’s quiet and pool is perfect for dip. Breakfast is tasty and staff is friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was amazing! Pool area is gorgeous but again I wish there were no old dirty plastic furniture. Pool itself was gorgeously designed. Great natural plants and trees and lots of shade. This hotel is cute but needs someone to walk theough and remove all dusty old plastic plants and corky decorations lol

• Gary (7/5): Good - The property was in a good location for our needs. We had a rental car so it was easy for us to get around. The breakfast was good and the service was great. The room was tight with three twin beds. The entire property is cluttered with lots of potted plants and "stuff" that took up lots of space. The pool area is small and again cluttered with lots of plants, making it somewhat difficult to get in and around the area. The facility was locked up at 10:00 pm and we had to use a key to access it.
