• Swathi (3/5): Get a strong insect and pest inspection done and maintain the house especially the smells etc - Deck area Lot of cockroaches everywhere in bedroom cupboards kitchen. • Amanda (1/5): Will be great once renovations are comolete and house is usable - The host was quick to help secure accommodation late at night for the swap to a usable house. However, I have since not responded to my message requesting a partial refund or to Booking.com request. OK, so the house listed looks amazing in the photos. When I checked in, 1 room was unusable as the ceiling looked like it was falling down. One bedroom was downstairs and flooded - there were sandbags piked up against the door, so the owner was aware of the issue. One bedroom looks and smells like it is in a closet. The air-conditioning unit started tonpiur water out of the inside portion all over the lounge and floor. I messaged the property management, and I will say they were very quick at organising another house. It was across the road at 64 Odin Street. If you are offered this house, it too has many flaws. The lounge was broken, so we couldn't use it, there is a massive bunch of keys that only lock 1 sliding screen door - thr front door cannot be unlocked nor can anything else, from the outside. The fron doors look like they have been kicked in at some stage, with the security non-existent. Bedroom doors look like they have been kicked in. Once again, air-conditioning in the loungeroom doesn't work. There was a new unpacked "universal remote" that didn't work. There were cockroaches in both properties, and the property looked unkempt with long grass. The pool was green. I contacted the management requesting a partial refund due to having 2 properties that were not up to standard. Both these properties in their current state do not represent value for money. To date, myself or Booking.com have not been contacted. I would not recommend these properties. I wish I could upload more photos
• Heidi (8/5): Excellent location, very spacious and comfortable - Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Beautiful big home. So much room. Lots of extras provided. The yard needs some maintenance done on it.
