Guest Reviews
- Sara (1/5): Misleading photos and terrible conditions - It was pretty close to the metro station and overall a good location. Misleading photos and terrible conditions.
We stayed from Friday to Monday, and the experience was awful from the very beginning.
The apartment looked nothing like the photos.
The shower was leaking and running the entire stay, which made the whole place damp and humid, with water pooling on the floor. We contacted the property and were told the maintenance team would come fix it, but no one ever showed up.
We couldn’t get into the property around midnight, the code didn’t work. We had to knock on someone’s window to be let in, which was incredibly awkward and stressful.
There were spiders everywhere, no trash bin at all, and the towels smelled terrible. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly before our arrival. The apartment door wasn’t even marked with a number, making it hard to find. And to top it all off, the Wi-Fi didn’t work.
Overall, this was one of the worst booking experiences we’ve had — uncomfortable, misleading, and completely unprofessional. Not recommended.
- Hamilton (2/5): Difficult to access room - Location and clean and good shower Lock access dreadful. No tv or cooking facilities. No cups or cutlery.
- Michael (1/5): Rotten - Absolutely nothing, filthy disgusting dump of a place. Unclean and unhygienic mess
- Cassandra (5/5): Passable - Location is great. Less than 1km to the train station. One stop away from Paddington. Jas the makings of a nice budget hotel... cons.. bed was like sleeping on covered springs, need new mattresses. No garbage bins on the property. Plastic spoons and airline cutlery supplied, a bag of open sugar, toothpaste spit on bathroom wall, smelly scourer well used not changed. No fans, no tv. Cigarette butts litter both front and back outside, no butt bin supplied. Rubbish left in bags at both front n back doors. The backyard could be nice but left over grown with weeds knee high growing thru fake grass. Weeds growing thru back patio and over grown making the back patio unusable.
On arrival, we entered the room to discover the dining table was broken and fell on me. First shower and the shower door fell off which we fixed. Broken toilet seat. Staff did nothing to remove or replace the dining table so we were forced to eat on our beds. I never saw a single staff member during our visit of 7 days. The rubbish wasn't removed while we were there piling up as each person vacated.
Until the owner does some general housekeeping, gardening and repaired all broken furniture including changing to a mattress to one with padding or at the very least add a topper, I wouldnt recommend this property even at a budget level.

- Antonio (5/5): Hot and noise as a hell - On the winter time could be a perfect place but summer time 33 degrees outside the without Air Conditioning or fan felt like in hell or sauna can't to open the windows too noisy outside, can't sleep properly On the winter time could be a perfect place but summer time 33 degrees outside the without Air Conditioning or fan I felt like get in the dry sauna or wet sauna after shower, can't to open the windows too noisy outside, the door code was a nightmare locked out 4 times and 4 time had to wait for help, Internet password never work
- Taqi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joray (8/5): It has been a pleasure staying at this place especially when we are in the middle of transition. - the location and the price which is well affordable knowing it is within the city. The facilities are reasonable and staff were very quick to respond to query. I highly recommend the place. none
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Zamira (10/5): Exceptional -
- 金元 (1/5): Very bad - Very bad There is no hot water for bathing, no cups or kettles, nothing
- Carine (7/5): Good -
- Tomáš (5/5): Looks much better on photos here, than in reality. But it made its purpouse, good for students - Check in was more like escape room. I’ve never seen a message with instructions sayin that I will get my access key within 48 hours, at my hour of check in
- Christos (2/5): Looks nice in the photos but reality is not so good - The room meets the minimum standards of cleanliness, The property is a house in a middle class area of London. The room I stayed was a room in the garden, something I didn't notice when I booked. Not big deal, except the fact that the back garden and the front yard were full of litter. The room was decorated with the cheapest materials they could find. The electric hot shower was merely working, so I made just one shower after much effort. The electric heater at least was working properly . The process of reaching my room, with so many keypads was a bit annoying. Lastly I had the bad lack to see a guy naked in the front yard, making me think that the people who rent those rooms are a bit weird. In general I think the owners of the property are trying to make a few money spending the minimum amount of money possible. The room was cheap for a reason, but personally I would prefer to spend more and stay in a decent room.
- Adeyemi (9/5): The apartment is good - Good The room
- Behnam (1/5): Bad -
- Zack (8/5): Easy. Clean and much better than i expected for the value. Will be back when Newcastle get to another final at Wembley! - Great location for Wembley and also had access to the tube which was 5 mins away. Local shops such as ASDA and a Mcdonald’s within 5 mins walk.
Staff were quick to respond via Whatsapp.
The room had basic amenities but was enough for our short 2 night stay. Pretty clean throughout unless you were to go searching for an isssue.
We arrived to a well presented, clean and very warm welcoming room.
We did use our initiative and searched for local parking. Literally next street along had public parking at weekends which is an added bonus for the stay. We didn’t have a TV which would be a big addition to the room. Also the code entering was incorrect but staff answered the phone first time. Some other reviews stating they had to wait etc but we arrived bang on 3 oclock and not at late hours which may have helped. The staff have also responded since leaving after i mentioned the code again to help their reviews and they are working on it for the guests experience to be better.
- Yolande (5/5): Room 8, top floor, basic. - This was perfectly placed for visiting family who live near by.
The room was a good size and decorated in light colours.
It was clean and tidy on arrival.
It was extremely basic but that was fine for me as was litteraly only sleeping and showering there. On the outside there is no door number which is a bit confusing.
There is keypad entry to both external and interior door but the number was far too long, plus the lock mechanism was hanging out of the side of the external door once opened, which made it difficult to close.
On entering the room on the first floor, the heater had been left on and windows were closed so it was overwhelmingly hot and uncomfortable.
The kettle had obviously been used to make something in at some point as it smelt very strongly of what I think was maybe cinnamon, therefore making it unusable.
Coffee and sugar in the containers looked like it had been there for years.
The blanket on the bed had a very strong unpleasant smell too....it ended up on the floor under the bed as it wasn't nice. It also had stains on it.
The duvet covers were clean but were very creased, although that didn't bother me too much. The actual duvet was super thin, although again it suited me.
The bathroom window is not frosted glass, meaning the blind has to be left closed permanently. It also has a very large crack in it.
There is no mirror in this room other than the small one on the bathroom cabinet.
There is a clothes rail but only one hanger.
This is definitely a very basic room.
- Top (10/5): Exceptional - Everything inside was clean
- Ribeiro (1/5): Bad - Couldn’t get in to the property I try to get to the property and I called the number for customer services for more than two hours and no , I had to find other hotel last minute which cost me lot of money
- Hollie (3/5): Disappointing. Sadly not cleaned. - Location was handy with local tube/ underground access We were given check in details prior to arrival and told we could check in from 3pm. We checked in at 5:30 as we were later than planned, we unlocked our door the room was messy, the sheets had not been changed and beds were not made. The facilities had been used and not cleaned.
A cleaner spawned and then asked us to wait outside while they cleaned, however this was sadly not communicated.
We returned to a mostly clean studio. We were expecting the room to have a kettle (we may have read the listing wrong) however it did not. We were hoping we would be provided with some cleaning equipment to wash any dishes we used in the room, there was nothing sadly and no sink or other area to clean items in the “kitchen”.
The dishes (singular bowl and plate) we were provided with were dirty in the cupboard and we opted for the (much safer) option of getting a takeaway instead.
We decided to not use the shower during our stay as the bottom of the cubicle was thick with plaque and dirt which was rather terrifying.
The entrance to the property was secure however bags of exploded rubbish and old food flooded the front of the shared house and seriously disgusting.
- N (10/5): The place is very nice and clean - I love the views .
- N (10/5): A well thought out experience - All rooms n corridors Outside looks dramatic to the inside
- Miki (3/5): Poor -
- Jan (3/5): good start, terrible end - I waited a month for the host to respond me to give a fair assessment of the property, but unfortunately I didn't get it. Honestly, 1 point for the room being real. 1 point for the host sending the correct door code. 1 point for the room and beds. On the second day we didn't have water in the taps to wash ourselves and use the toilet... The host didn't respond to requests for help. At night, strangers were knocking on the windows of our room and shining flashlights to enter the property, horror
- Gabriel (1/5): Bad -
- Mekha (1/5): Bad - the location was the only good thing. it was not clean AT ALLLL. very disgusting and the rooms were not cleaned at all from the previous tenants. Also the property owner did not respond whatsoever.
- Benjamin (10/5): Nice location - Very comfortable and spacious and very friendly staff
- Victor (1/5): Wasted time and money. - It was a nightmare; we arrived around 22:20, there was no one there to help, and there was no code or key to gain access to the property. After standing in the cold for an hour, my pregnant partner and I decided to book a new place to spend the night. Never again
- Nirmal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marianna (5/5): Passable - The place was clean, very central and the owner was very much available, responded within a few minutes. Self check-in was quite tricky due to the codes required.
And on the last day there was a leak so we couldn’t even showered or use the toilette which was a major inconvenience.
- Maria (1/5): Bad - DO NOT BOOK!! Very disappointed with what happened to us and all the trouble that this property caused us. We went at the property finding that the code that they gave us to enter the main door was incorrect. There was no one in the property as we knocked multiple times and now one opened for us. Also we called multiple times but the owner did not answer any of our phone calls. We stayed 3hrs outside in a cold rainy weather with our luggage. After three hours outside it was getting dark and we were forced to go find a hotel to stay at. It costed us a fortune, but we had no other option, we did not wish to remain stranded for the night. We wasted £270 on this property for nothing. We did not even make it past the front door because the owner of the property did not care. Everything, bad service no costumer service what so ever.
- Singh (8/5): Very good -
- Costa (1/5): Bad -
- Dovie (9/5): Superb -
- Kristina (1/5): Bad - Nothing The room was just outside the building, the windows were covered with a plastic bag, there were not even the essential things , you had to buy them , not worth the money
- Zalawadia (9/5): Superb -
- Zalawadia (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (6/5): Value for money - Information for entry was chaotic. Given 3 different rooms on arrival by text! Needed someone to let me in the front door. Numbers incorrect.
Shower was not cleaned after previous use.
- Dan (2/5): Very basic. Hit or miss for hot water. Noisy - Had potential No help from staff
- Darina (1/5): Just place to have a sleep, that’s it - There was no Wi-Fi at all, owner of the apartments did not respond for whole week, great, thank you
- Areeth (3/5): Good but owner could be better with customer service and support. - Good location, worth the price, very nice room. Lost my item, a nintendo switch, and the owner has not replied or assisted me in retrieving my item, so ive lost over £400 worth of items.
- Keerthana (1/5): Bad -
- Seila (5/5): Passable - I appreciated that the accommodation was not far from the city center, and the room was a cute and comfortable little space. The room was not properly cleaned when I checked in. There was something rotten in a container in the fridge. After a full day of sightseeing, we returned to the accommodation to find that the lights in the room were left on, which we had not done. Additionally, there was water standing in the shower tray, the toilet seat was lifted, and the bathroom was humid. We were not informed that anyone had entered the room while we were out, and even if there was an important emergency entry by the staff, it was their duty to notify us, but they did not. They came and went without any communication.
Furthermore, one evening we had to wait for about an hour outside the entrance because someone had taken the access chip, and it took that long to reach someone for assistance.
Another downside is that the accommodation faces a very busy and noisy street. It is impossible to stay in the room with the windows open due to the noise level, though this is not the host's fault but rather an issue with the location of the property.
- Dan (1/5): No hot water for shower. No towels. No toilet paper. Mean meam mean. - On paper looked good Nobody to discuss problems
- Alexander (7/5): Good - Nicely presented accommodation for price you pay, slight issue with the door upon checkin although staff were quick to sort issue out.
- Shola (10/5): Exceptional - The room and the shower and patch on the floor The was mess in the fridge part from that everything is good
- Hasnain (1/5): Bad - Cleanness Customer service, We are two friends and when we reached to the property the door lock is not working. I contact to the customer service person and he takes more then three hour to sort out the problem and we fukin stand for 3 hours in a cold.
- Akar (1/5): Bad - Nothing , this property made a big trouble for me and I was about to stay on the street with my family because they didn’t send me the Code to enter and there was no one in the property and not answering phone calls , please avoid Please avoid booking this hotel because You may end up staying on the street
- David (1/5): DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Read all of the reviews carefully - Nothing When I booked this property there were no reviews as it was ‘new to the site’. Since then, all the reviews I have read match my experience. The accommodation owner/manager does not reply to attempts to contact them at all, not even from booking.com. You will not get a refund if you wish to cancel. I tried to make enquiries via phone call, text, email and through booking.com and had no response. I requested my money back to cancel and had no response. I received a text from a different mobile # with details of my stay the day before my stay to which I replied advising them that I requested a refund for cancellation weeks before and had no reply. The same number then sent another text on the day of my booking so they obviously choose not to speak to their visitors. Booking.com refused to offer me a refund, instead saying they would need to have it confirmed by the property owner, which as you can guess didn’t happen because they wouldn’t even reply to booking.com. I didn’t actually stay in the end as I had no faith in them whatsoever but can imagine the facilities are as bad as many of the reviews state. I am more disappointed in booking.com for allowing such a badly run property to be advertised on their site but I supppose they don’t care either as long as they get paid. They actually contradicted themselves when on one call I was advised I would be offered a refund for cancellation from booking.com if the property owner didn’t respond to their contact within 48hrs, to then be told that I would not get a refund in any case unless the property owner agreed. Safe to say I won’t use booking.com again either
- Giordano (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andrea (4/5): Disappointing - The room was large and convenient location No customer service whatsoever .. tried to contact their responsible for assistance ...no response
- Saifullah (1/5): Non - Waited 3hours no one in property
And no one answered the call email
Then I have to rebook with higher price because of them and booking.com Non
- Greene (10/5): Great location for our event really helpful hosts, clean property and safe also was easy to find. Really great stay over - Location was great, property was clean, hosts were helpful. Hard to get into the property to begin with and they only gave us 2 towels for 3 guests.
- Amanzhol (1/5): Unbelievably Awful - The owner changed the lock at the front door and didn’t notify any guests. Coming on late evening we couldn’t enter the property and owner never picks up the phone.
I highly discourage anyone from renting this piece of crap
- Hannah (8/5): Very good -
- Elisa (1/5): Bad - Nothing.
Niente disgusting. we arrived at 8 in the evening, no one welcomed us... using codes we had to open the entrance door, we couldn't do it, I contacted customer service who didn't respond immediately and I was opened the door by another guest . the room was very dirty and not cleaned for our arrival. horrible. I asked for wifi and it was given to me after 20 calls
- Guoying (1/5): Very poor, very dissatisfied - Very poor, very dissatisfied,
- Yujia (5/5): Passable - Wi-Fi is not available. The sound insulation is very poor. One of my packages was placed on the 0th floor for two and a half hours and was unpacked and thrown on the ground.
- Julia (10/5): Great for short and a bit longer stays. Go to Harry’s bar for beans on toast!!! - There was no trash bin
- Matthew (9/5): Great room, perfect for a quick stop-over on the way to/from the airport - Room was modern, clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Instructions for check-in etc. were very clear. The nearest subway station is only a short walk away so it was very convenient to get to. The windows facing the highway are thin so there is a little bit of traffic noise. There was no rubbish bin provided, and not enough cups/mugs for 3 people.
- Sahnoune (1/5): Bad -
- Brendan (8/5): Great accommodation for a reasonable rate - Great accommodation for the price.
- Eva (2/5): Very poor - It was nicely done up and clean, the room felt good. The host had zero responsiveness. I had messaged them many times in the week leading up to my stay as I had wanted to drop a bag off there earlier because of a very late concert return we had. I received the check in details the day of our booking at 3pm, and it was an auto generated message. I have never booked anything where I can't communicate with the host before my stay. This cost us extra money and time as I had to store my bag elsewhere.
- Roshae (1/5): False advertisement - I didn't stay I left. However the decor is beautiful and its very clean. When I arrived it wasn't what I expected. It was located right on the motor way and it was a house. It advertised tv but none was there. The ad said its located in the city centre and it was far from it.
- Malinda (1/5): Disgusting. - Location. Everything else. No hot water, door didn’t lock properly. No curtains with the entire house able to see straight into the room and the front space being used as a smoking place for the residents. I ended up having to use the bed frame and towels as a temporary fix for curtains. And the mattress on the floor to sleep as I arrived too late. I only found out about the water the next morning and had to go to work. I booked a hotel nearby as soon as I got back as I had ZERO contact from the landlord about fixing the issues.
- Aksels (7/5): Good -
- Shannon (1/5): LEFT STRANDED !!! AWFUL COMMUNICATION FROM STAFF ! NEVER AGAIN !! - Nothing. They gave me my key code for the apartment and there was no key in the key lock resulting in us being stranded with a child in London. I asked for a refund and they stated I will get this, however I have not received it. DO NOT STAY HERE Everything, the communication from the staff themselves were awful. I had nothing from them until the day of the booking and even the emergency contact number is text and they like to ignore you.
- Cristian (8/5): Really good value for money!! - Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, mattress and pillows; I like the colour of the wall. I also like that there are fridges. Also good that you can regulate the temperature. I would recommend to add the following: toilet bowl brush, hand soap (instead of only shower gel, have both). Also there was no sugar and tea, the containers were actually empty except for the coffee I believe.
- Toneeta (10/5): Exceptional -
