• Sioned (10/5): Peaceful stay considering the location in the middle of the city. - Parking for our long wheel based van and enough beds for our big family were the thing I was looking for when booking. This place has 6 beds in lovely rooms & parking right outside the door - perfect. They provided loads of towels, plenty of tea/coffee & also shower gel. There was a shop just around the corner to get milk for breaky. It was super hot during our visit but there were fans provided in every room. There is a small but private garden which was a lovely extension to the lounge. We had a comfortable and quiet nights sleep. No hot water in the downstairs shower in the morning.

Having a free parking space right in front of the house is a massive convenience in London. The garden is absolutely super, and the entire place feels very welcoming. On top of that, the host was extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place! Nothing at all—everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

• Jody (8/5): Nice roomie house with a washer and two dryers, which was so helpful for a long week in London for big family - Although the location is a little far out from Central London it is very easy by bus or tube to get where you wanna go. The property was a little cluttered with stuff, when you’re traveling and trying to put out your own stuff, it would be nice to have less decorations and more counter. Space.

• deleh (9/5): Ein Fleckchen, welches man sehr gern wieder besucht. - Ein kleines Häuschen in zentraler Lage und unmittelbarer Nähe zum Nahverkehr (Busse ca. 200m und Metro ca. 800m). Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind sehr gut aufgenommen worden. Die Einrichtung hat, wie nicht anders zu erwarten, schon vielen Gästen gute Dienste geleistet. Das Haus mit seinen Anbauten selbst ist eher zweckmäßig als stilvoll errichtet. Der Besitzer hat die Räume liebevoll ausgestattet. Ein kleiner lauschiger Garten, wie das gesamte Haus im Chinoiserie-Stil, gut möbliert, ergänzt das Anwesen. Schön fanden wir auch, dass an exponierter Stelle im Flur und im Wohnzimmer, viele Hinweise und Tipps zum Aufenthalt in London bereit lagen, sicher ein Segen für London-Erstbesucher. Im Objekt fanden wir alles vor, was man zum Leben benötigt. Alle Verbrauchsmaterialien waren ausreichend vorhanden. Diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Schnellimbisse und Restaurants sind alle fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden auf alle Fälle bei unserem nächsten London-Trip schauen, ob wir in diesem Domizil wieder als Gäste logieren dürfen. Da das Haus über keine ersichtlichen Heizmöglichkeiten verfügt, wurden die meisten Räume mit Ölradiatoren erwärmt, was zu einer etwas abenteuerlichen Verkabelung führt, welche aber erstaunlicherweise wacker während unseres Aufenthalts durchhielt. Etwas was nichts mit der Unterkunft an sich zu tun hat, war die mangelnde Sauberkeit in der Umgebung. Nun waren wir ja nach den Weihnachtsfeiertagen dort und die Müllabfuhr ist mutmaßlich noch nicht im vollen Umfang betriebsbereit gewesen. Daher kann das auch nur ein vorübergehendes Problem gewesen sein. Wenn es allerdings dort immer so aussähe, wäre das Vergnügen doch etwas getrübt, zumal die Gegend mit Ihren Parks, Spielplätzen und Nebenstraßen zum Spazierengehen einlädt.

La casa era suficientemente grande, el wifi funcionaba muy bien y está cerca de todos los sitios de interés de Londres, incluso algunos andando. Se nos fue la luz por la noche y hacía mucho frío pero nos lo solucionaron rápido los caseros.

• silvia (7/5): estancia en el palacio del "Elephant Love Medley" (homenaje a Moulin Rouge) - Nos encantó la zona, tranquila, bien ubicada, cerca del metro de "Elephant and castle", pegado a un bonito parque donde vimos una mañana ardillas.. y el domingo por la noche un zorro de tamaño considerable paseando a sus anchas. camas espaciosas. Los anfitriones son un encanto y nos mandaron un montón de fotos de la zona y de la casa antes de llegar Casa un poco recargada en cuanto a decoración, pero lo sabes desde el principio porque las fotos son fieles, hay tanta por todas partes que dudas de si se puede limpiar como toca, yo entraba en la casa y era no parar de estornudar, asi que alérgicos abstenerse!

• M Nadia (10/5): Good Value for Money! - Really good location, near shops, restaurants, etc. yet still managed to be in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Will be booking with them again if I do a group trip. Owner was really great with communication. There is not much seating in living room for the amount of people, however, there is a large dining table in the open plan living space to accomodate more seating.
• Lyn (10/5): - It is not far from the main London attractions. There are also subways or trains nearby, and bus stops are not far away. It is a quiet accommodation. When we have problems, the landlord will also deal with them immediately. There is also parking in front of the house. There are so many decorations in the house that we are afraid of destroying them. The room is a little small and the suitcase is not very suitable for placement

• Anja (8/5): Super für einen Kurzaufenthalt mit Hund mitten in London. - Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen, sicheren Gegend mit viel Grün. Elephant&Castle ist 12 min zu Fuß entfernt und bietet viele Restaurants. Sowohl Tower als auch Big Ben sind fußläufig in 40 min erreichbar. Es gibt einen kleinen Terrassenbereich, den wir gerne genutzt haben.

The shower downstairs is not very good and the hot water is turned off at a certain time, so no hot shower when you come in late - but the owner was happy to change that. 2 Parking spaces are available but note to book them in advance and not assume that they’re yours to use for the duration of your stay.

• Aarti (10/5): It was a wonderful stay .. I would recommend it to everyone - We stayed here for one night, but even before our check-in, the hosts went out of their way to help us. Two days prior, we were looking for a place to store our luggage, and they kindly offered to keep it safe for us. The house was neat and clean, and it was evident that they had paid attention to even the smallest details. The host was extremely supportive and made our short stay very comfortable. Truly appreciated their warmth and hospitality! Mattress needs to be replaced

Everything from paint deliveries, drainage guys, engineers etc seem to have been booked to carry out work before our agreed departure time

He wasn’t mad at us he just let me know in the most respectful way and I really appreciate that. Neighbourhood is very quiet so do be mindful of the noise, the beds are very comfortable. The decor was lovely. It was very homely and we had a lovely time staying me and my friends.

Very quirky and fun, with so many little details to smile at, it provided the perfect base, and fun atmosphere, for a reunion of old friends who now live scattered around the country. Great location, only about 7 minutes walk to Elephant and Castle tube, via Elephant Park, where we had loads of restaurant/cafe / bar options. The house is on a quiet residential street but only about 2 minutes walk to a road with a londis, Tesco express and various other shops and takeaways etc. (The Lebanese there was so popular it had a queue outside!) It was a sunny weekend so we loved having the garden seating area to catch up in, with the great big umbrella for shade. Seven single beds in bright, quirky rooms, two bathrooms, and a great price in a spot so close to travel into central London, it offered everything we needed for a budget London break! Thanks so much to Jimmy who was the perfect host - friendly, great communication, flexible when we asked to drop off bags early, and super helpful. Thanks so much, we've already agreed to return for our next reunion! Our only quibble is that we'd have liked more cotton based bedding but the look of the bedrooms was great fun!

• Lucy (10/5): Lovely feel quirky house 😊 - Loved this quirky house it has plenty of room and extremely comfy beds! 😊 Plenty of everything needed too, ie new toothbrushes in packs, many choices of shower products/beauty products, Hairdryers, sanitary products, cotton buds....you name it, it was there...even ted baker perfume!! The garden is so lovely and the host was most helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Will definitely be using again in the future 😃

The host was very accommodating to allow us to drop our bags early since our flight arrived well before check in time. Given our red eye flight this was much appreciated. He also gave us recommendations on how to navigate and places to eat. The water pressure is quite low. We also had some trouble figuring out the heat and it was quite cold in the apartment when we arrived. (We were there the first week of April.) There were plenty of blankets to help until we got things warmed up.

• Jiminez (7/5): we were a party of 6, that enjoyed all that elephant park had to offer which consists of great restaurants nice people a - the location was great and the proprietor was very kind and helpful. the mattresses on the ground floor were too hard to sleep on. the house was nice and what you see on the pics is what you get. we were a party of 6. we were able to park right at the front door. the mattresses on the ground floor were way too hard, you can feel the wood planks underneath. we were close to a hospital so the sirens from the ambulances were constantly in the background.

• Alison (1/5): Shockingly bad! Filthy, smelly, risk of electrocution due to water leaking into electrics. - Unfortunately nothing. There was a lingering cooking smell throughout the house. The surfaces were sticky. The fridge smelled bad. It was cold on arrival. Once the heating turned on, there was a leak from a tank in the loft which proceeded to drip through the lounge roof, running into electrical sockets. The skirting boards were filthy, floor was damp. Boiler in the kitchen emitted a strong gas smell. No carbon monoxide detector or smoke alarm seen. Health and safety hazard.

Quite close to London city center, close to tube (10min walk), close to buses. Free parking in front of house. Quite oldmodish interior. Quite chilly during night.

You can park your car right on the driveway. Very homely place and really nice host. There’s everything you may need including toiletries. Everything exactly as described and shown on the photos. Lovely place to stay. Close to central London but very quiet at night.

It was obvious that the host made effort to prepare the home for us. The furniture is a bit outdated in some places.
