• Jeremy (9/5): Didn't want to leave! - Sparkling fresh, modern, comfortable apartment with everything we needed, and within easy walking distance to anything else. Lots of nice touches like the giant TV (with a good soundbar, thank you), beach towels in the cupboard, pod machine with a milk frother, even a teapot. The building's facilities have also been refurbished and are well presented, and the building itself was very quiet during our stay. The previous reviewer who said the ceiling fans didn't work was mistaken, they're just susceptible to user error and you can accidentally disable them using the wall switch instead of the remotes. The wifi in the apartment is terribly slow, nowhere near fast enough for streaming or even decent web browsing. We had to hotspot the TV to our phones for streaming, and stuck with our mobile networks for anything else. While the pool area is quite pleasant it's in full sun all day and the water gets very warm. That may appeal to some but we stuck with the ocean.
