• Francesca (10/5): - Bellissimo appartamento con affaccio sul parco, pulito con 2 bagni a disposizione (di cui uno con bidet!!!). Dotato di ogni comfort, è andato oltre le mie aspettative. Gli host sono stati iperattenti, reattivi, wifi ottimo. L' appartamento si trova vicino la metro che in 15-20 minuti ti porta a Westminster. Noi eravamo in due e abbiamo dormito nella camera da letto.

• Thewiwan (1/5): Une expérience plus que déplaisante, je ne recommande pas - lits confortables, cuisine équipée très sympa, l’emplacement (10-15min à pied du métro et des bus menant aux différents endroits touristiques), wifi gratuit. La femme de ménage qui nous a accueilli était très gentille également. L’hôte refuse de m’envoyer une facture alors que j’en ai besoin pour mon entreprise. Il persiste à dire que c’est à Booking même de nous en faire, qu’ils n’ont jamais fait de factures, alors que Booking n’est que la plate-forme d’hébergement et qu’il est ILLÉGAL de ne pas fournir de factures aux clients. Malgré les nombreuses relances, rien n’est fait. Travaillant moi-même dans un hôtel à Paris, je sais que c’est à l’hôte d’émettre une facture et non Booking mais l’hôte FABIO refuse de m’aider. Concernant l’appartement, attention, il n’y a pas de double-vitrage alors on entend tout le bruit des voitures et ce, toute la nuit (rue très passante). La vaisselle était sale à notre arrivée, l’extérieur ne ressemble en rien aux photos. Il est très mal entretenu, la table est bancale et cassée, rien ne donne envie de manger dehors durant le séjour. Pas de Smart TV. De plus, nous sommes visiblement arrivés le jour où la peinture du mur près du canapé venait d’être refaite puisque nos pantalons ont été tachés de peinture blanche dès notre arrivée, personne ne nous a prévenus. Une expérience plus que déplaisante alors que nous venions visiter Londres en famille.
• CORTESI (7/5): Ottima posizione, appartamento migliorabile - La posizione è molto buona: l’appartamento si trova di fronte a un grande e delizioso parco che lo rende silenzioso e lontano dal frastuono della città, pur essendo a soli 5 minuti a piedi da fermate di autobus e metropolitana. Sempre a pochi minuti a piedi si trovano diversi supermercati e bar, rendendo la zona comoda e ben servita. Abbiamo soggiornato nell’appartamento di Marilena per una settimana. Le aspettative erano piuttosto alte, anche considerando che la proprietaria è italiana, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato la casa in condizioni un po’ trascurate. La porta di uno dei bagni non funzionava correttamente, un led in soggiorno era guasto e l’armadio all’ingresso risultava pieno di scarpe e oggetti vari riposti senza ordine. Alcune stoviglie non erano perfettamente pulite e parte della biancheria presentava un odore sgradevole di asciugatura non corretta. Nel letto sul soppalco abbiamo trovato dei capelli e, nella zona con ventilatore e abat-jour, la polvere non era stata rimossa da tempo. In generale, non si tratta di un alloggio sporco, ma piuttosto trasandato, con diversi dettagli che andrebbero curati maggiormente per rendere il soggiorno più piacevole.

• Michelle (8/5): Well equipped an comfortable. - Was central to where we needed to be. The property is very spacious and had all that we were needing. It was well equipped. We were there over the winter and was very warm. The bedroom on the mezzanine floor maybe an issue for some as it you have to climb a skinny ladder and is completely open without any safety barriers, but it worked ok for us. Fabio was very responsive and the check was easy and clear. Would recommend this apartment and would stay again. For the bedroom on the mezzanine floor it was quite noisey at night, but the main bedroom was very quiet. A blind over the window above the door to the balcony is needed to block out the street lights as it was very light if you are sleeping on the mezzanine.

Would stay here again. - The location was great. 5 min walk from Clapham Common Tube station. 10 minute walk to a bunch of really nice bars and restaurants, although there is a pub across the road! 20 minute tube ride and you are in the center of London. The flat was clean and tidy. Host was very responsive and great to deal with. The lock didn't work upon our arrival and the landlord tried to fix it but had to replace it eventually. Didn't cause any major issues, just an inconvenience upon arrival.

Did not understand that one bed was in a loft. Noisy plumbing. The dishwasher smelled awful. The balcony was dirty. The laundry room situation was a mess, but nice that it was available. Lights in hall did not turn on except for one time.

• Stacey (8/5): Amazing host! This place was so comfortable and convenient. - Amazing location. Very clean, modern and spacious. The plumbing was very loud in the master bedroom. It sounded like a jackhammer when the neighbours used their water early on weekdays. Not an issue on the weekend or with ear plugs.

• Natalie (6/5): You get what you pay for! - The location is great. Just a 10 minute stroll from Clapham Common station. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants around. Maintenance sorely lacking. General cleanliness not as it should be.

Ridiculous water pump noises at all times of the day and night especially early morning when trying to sleep. States 2 bedrooms on detail of ad but it's.only 2 beds also.

Spacious 2 bathroom, dining room, functional kitchen Beautiful big sun filled windows Magical Overlooking Clapham Common Park. Plumbing noise, hammering which was very distressing and distracting from the comfort of our stay. This has been reported to Fabio. Additionally lights not replaced in bathroom . Attention to detail is needed.

Plumbing was a bit noisy … know it’s difficult in an old building! Few light bulbs missing / not working or completely ineffectual.
• Zoe (10/5): Beautiful apartment, excellent location, really helpful hosts! - The location is excellent, close to the underground, bus stops, right by the common which is beautiful. Lots of shops close by. The apartment is really gorgeous and the terrace was lovely. We would definitely visit again! The hosts were quick to respond to any queries and really helpful and friendly. The only tiny thing is it is facing a busy road which seems to be noisy all night, but a pair of ear plugs sorted that!

• Gregory (9/5): A lovely place in London. Quiet and clean and oh so convenient! - What a fantastic place to stay. Light and airy flat in a lovely building looking over the common. Five minutes from the underground. Fabio was great with communication and assistance. If I had to say something it would be that there were some cupboards with random things that looked like they had been left behind, and some light gloves in the bathroom that need changing. Otherwise it was just a really enjoyable place to stay.

• Heather (8/5): It is a lovely modern flat with all facilities and easy access to amenities - The location was good for us as my son lives in clean and we were visiting him. It was easy to access the underground and shops which were only a ten minute walk away. It was cold to start with in the flat. We had to get in touch with the owners to put on the heating as it is controlled remotely. We didn’t realise that the second bedroom was a mezzanine up a ladder with no protection rail.
• Suk (9/5): Nice apartment and helpful hosts. - We came to London for work, the location is perfect as it was very close to where we needed to be. Have to walk up 2 flight of stairs, which we expected. We really enjoyed this flat, with lots of lights and looking over the park. We stayed for 4 nights, would be great to have 2 sets of towels, and maybe they just ran out of shower gel as we didn't see any. But these are not issues for us at all (so we didn't even ask about it). The hosts are nice and accommodating, quick response over messages and very helpful in making special check out arrangement for us. We would gladly stay here again.

• Adrian (10/5): Clapham Common - Highly Recommend!! - Excellent location, a short walk to Clapham Common Station and the local shops and eateries. Green space is in abundance across the road and buses in all directions are at your doorstep. Our host Fabio greeted us on arrival, with a box of chocolates, thank you Fabio, and gave us his time to explain the property and local tips on travel. Greatly appreciated his time and local knowledge. Thanks Fabio. Also, we had a couple of enquiries during our stay. No problems, message Fabio and he responded within a couple of minutes. Excellent host. The only slight negative, and it is a very very slight negative is the small bathroom off the main bedroom. A minor inconsequence when you consider there is a second larger bathroom available.

Comfortable space with all amenities for our fa - Location was good, easy 5 min walk yo the Tube with 20 min ride to the town centre. Since it’s on a main road, and the windows are thin, you can hear street noise during the night.

Great location in front of the park. The value for money really stood out. The quality of accommodation at such a reasonable price was impressive. The location is perfect and so handy for the shops/ tube and walking across the common. Empty ice cream packet in freezer and slight frozen as if the door had not been shut tight. It could do with double glazing at the front as the road and pub noise did prevent getting to sleep in the mezzanine bed. The bedroom was fine but the weather was exceptionally hot and a fan would have helped.

• Lisa (1/5): Traumatic and stressful - I couldn’t actually get into the property- I told the owner before I booked that I am disabled and couldn’t do stairs, the owner went on to tell me over the phone that it WAS disabled friendly when it was NOT. He told me there was one small flight of stairs when there was 5 to the front door, 34 steps on the first flight then an even further flight, albeit a small one! Sitting in my wheelchair outside, I called the owner and reiterated that I was disabled and that he hadn’t told me the truth about the amount of steps there I’m fact was, but he twisted it telling me that he HAD told me about the stairs, and in short the misunderstanding was all My fault as I obviously “misunderstood “!. in the meantime I was left outside trying to get a response from customer service and ended up stranded!! in the end I had to call my niece to come and fetch me and stay with her in Ham. He also refused to accept responsibility or to compensate me. After a whole day of wrangling and at least 5 calls to booking. com he agreed to refund me £40 as the number of adults staying was reduced by 1 person. he also said the flat was “ huge” and faced the Common which it did only barely. the attitude of the landlord and his lack of understanding to a disabled person and their rights and the fact that he was economical with the truth at my expense. In my view this can only be down to greed.

To add to that, the hosts were extremely helpful in responding to any queries. Have to say, this place exceeded my expectations. would definitely recommend to friends and family.
